asita eco resort….. a touch of natureOnly 10 minutes from Amphawa Floating Market and the famous Bangkok Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and only 1 hour from Bangkok. Escape the congested city and relax in this eco-friendly lifestyle resort, surrounded by countless pine trees, adjacent a large tranquil canal, designed to preserve the simple, yet elegant, lifestyle of rural Thai people. Choose between a traditional Thai house and Villa, designed for comfort with eco-friendly amenities. Enjoy a private swimming pool, inspired by nature, in front of your room’s porch for the ultimate in relaxation. Various activities are available both within the resort and nearby. You will be able to see hundred of fireflies sparkling at night just in front of the resort. Free WIFI internet throughout the resort and shuttle boat on Saturday and public holiday to tourist attractions and floating market.
I upgraded from Superior room to Deluxe room thank you for their generosity and it was worth every paisa!! Awesome views from my room #15, excellent room , ambiance and excellent customer service. I enjoyed the free bike and their useful map as I spent hours riding from the resort to few places, temples, floating markets and unseen Thailand place which not too far from the resort too. I would recommend everyone travelling to Thailand and want to find a nice place not too far from Bangkok and stay overnight here at asita eco resort.

Walking distance to Wat Bang Kung where you can enjoy like a tourist. But when enter to the resort, it is like a garden home where you can stay like a local. Service was fair, breakfast was great, and the room itself was spacious and amenities were provided.

We stayed 2 nights here while driving from Koh Samui up to Chiang MaI. It is a beautiful hotel based on several buildings, with some fabulous wooden bungalows. There was a teachers symposium on when we arrived, and were given a free upgrade to 2 of the wooden buildings. We live in a teak house in Chiang Mai and these buildings at Jaroenrat were fabulous! Firm bed, coffee/tea facilities, good shower/wet room. We used the pool, large and clean, with 5 sun loungers, but we were the only ones using the pool. The whole hotel site was clean and litter free during our stay. Not a place for boozing and nightlife, as its a way out of town. We visited the train market (still no trains cos of upgrading to the line) and the floating market. Our stay was midweek so the floating market was quiet. The day we left they were expecting a large group of tourists from Bangkok. It sounds like its a place that's quiet during the week and busy during weekends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you want a nice place to stay while visiting Aphawa, this will do nicely.
