BUT if you want a place which is quiet, peaceful, and has everything you need with outstanding, welcoming staff, this is the place to be. The rooms are clean and comfortable with powerful A/C. My room is right next to the pool so I am in the water in only a few steps. The dive shop is right here if you want to train or arrange recreational diving. If you want great food, the on-site cafe has many selections of tasty local and western foods and beverages. Scooter rentals are simple…just ask for one at the counter and it gets delivered to the resort. I look forward to additional stays here…the stress is just melting away as I sit here

Reviewed By CiaraMCWWe stayed in the one bed villa this week for our honeymoon. It's an absolutely beautiful setting and the villa is very stylish, with everything you might need. The manager Pong was extremely kind and helpful at all times, and told us lots of useful information about e.g. the best places for snorkeling. I am aware that previously due to its position up a *very* steep hill, taxis were provided for free, but because of Covid pressures they are now no longer free - it costs about 2-300 baht (£4.50- 7) to go into Sairee or elsewhere nearby, and the same again to get back. We often walked down the hill, but never up it - it's about 2/3 way up a mountain! Lots of restaurants deliver. Highly recommend these beautiful villas.

I have a great view of the Sairee beach and Koh Nang Yuan; my apartment is spacious and very clean, with the fully equipped kitchen; I have my own terrace in addition to the fabulous pool shared with other residents of the Viking House, which the owner is very selective about. This is a very family-oriented complex and Tony is adamant about peace and quiet, which I am so enjoying! He, as well as his partner, have been very responsive to all my inquiries and requests. Amazing service! Quiet location, yet less than five minutes away from the beach by scooter. I highly recommend it!

Reviewed By tomaP2293ITWe stay at this hotel for 3 nights and we really appreciate it , service is great they come to pick up us at pier they have free transfer 3 time a day from pier to the resort and from resort to the pier . Restaurant is really good we can taste really excellent Thai food fresh fish every day and a good wine selection the service is a bit slow but at the same time the waiters Nail was really lovely . The room are very spacious clean ne whit a amazing view we will suggest to book a Chaba villa they are direct on the sea front and not so much stairs . The sun deck is really nice place to chill out and enjoy some cocktails or fresh juice during the day the music was also very good there . A tip to every one to book direct whit the resort as you will get special benefit and at the booking moment you will get a really costumer care. Hi recommended to every one and of course we will be back at as next trip to Thailand.

Reviewed By ainopatrakkaIf you like a more private resort close to nature, this is the place to go. Best price-worthy stay in Koh Tao. I had a private bungalow for 500 baht as a solo traveler. View of the ocean with a hammock from my room. There´s also a beach for snorkeling and a restaurant. You fall asleep with the sound of waves. Only cons are that there´s no ac (I kept my doors and windows open with mosquito nets) and there´s no connection with cellular data. They have free wifi though.

Ruined holiday....
Reviewed By jasonwymerAsked if transportation from the pier to the hotel was offered, was told it was not available and to use a taxi.... The taxi cost 200b a person for a 5minute drive and it was not private so other people crammed in the taxi, 5 people=1000b for a 5minute or 2km ride??... you can do Pattaya to Bangkok, 120+km, airport for that, its either you take the taxi or walk the distance with heavy bags in the heat... Got to the resort and everything goes smoothly with checkin and bike rental, staff very friendly and helpful. 1st day, opening the toilet seat the back hinge snapped due to wear over time. I work in an industry that provides the raw materials to make plastics and I can tell you that plastics become brittle with heat. Anyway, we kind of understand that we would of had to pay for the seat as we broke it but what came next was a shock... 3rd day in we get told we must pay for the whole toilet because they could not buy just a seat? 2675b or £60 or $84 (at present exchange rate).. I spoke to the owner who was adamant theycouldnt buy just a seat, so I requested the toilet be changed during our stay so I could see the change and then other guests wont get the same scam applied to them, they said they couldnt get the toilet changed untill after songkran? I'm supposed to believe thay will be getting the full branded and full priced toilet and not just a 100b toilet seat???... We understood what was happening so made the choice to find another accomodation and checked out 2 days early. We checked out early as we were scared something else would break.. If the AC breaks you are probably going to be charged 10,000b+ £226 or $320, do you really want that risk???.... The shower had no hot water but we didnt dare say anything as we would of probably been charged for the shower breaking... As you can see from the pictures this is just wear and tear from the seat hinge, we are not people who trash rooms, just travellers who like to see the world. The motorbike we hired also had bald tyres so if you get stopped you would be fined as its a traffic violation in Thailand. Certainly not a place we would go again and its also put us off koh tao as we see a lot more scams happening to foreigners.

Reviewed By KenzaSingaWe stayed in a 1 bedroom villa for 1 week and had an amazing time : the villa is superb (big, clean, bright) and the view is amazing with private pool, the staff and service is perfect especially Tom the manager who took care of us along our stay (arranged pick up and drop off from the pier to the villa, motorbike renting, diving trip, gave recommendation on what to do on the island…). Very relaxed and enjoyable trip thanks to the quality of the villa and the excellent staff !

All mod cons, fully stocked kitchen for self-catering. Comfortable bed, huge indoor/outdoor style bathroom complete with original giant rock feature! Bike rental was great value and onsite. Nothing was too much trouble. Now if only Guy and Kasey could sort out the weather, everything would be faultless! Highly recommended
