Halii Kai at Waikoloa is a recently developed 29-acre oceanfront resort, stretched along Waikoloa's Beach Golf Course and the Pacific Ocean. Spacious two- and three-bedroom villas and townhomes are luxuriously furnished. Amenities include a cascading pool, private restaurant, fitness cabana, walking trails, and a basketball/tennis court.
The Waikoloa resort property had everything! Beautiful resort hotels, fabulous luaus, great restaurants, upscale golf courses, two really nice shopping areas! We stayed in a condo in Halii Kai and loved it, very clean and comfortable, just like home! Lots to see on the Big Island, Kilauea volcano, coffee plantations in Kona, black sand beach, the petroglyphs, all within driving distance. My fav? ... the Octopus Research Facility near the Kona airport... got to play with Ocho... and if you've seen the octopus movie, you will love this experience!

The end to another beautiful day in paradise.
I want preface that this review is for Ocean Tower 801 only since each unit is individually owned. The only good thing was the communication from the guest services representative. She contacted me a few days before we arrived, very friendly and provided clear direction. She met us onsite and gave a quick run down of the unit. While the unit is perfect for families, it needs a refresh including a paint job, updated washer and dryer (not energy efficient, very old, and rust on the interior when you open the dryer door) and other things as outlined in the review. The master bedroom is in desperate need of a new pillows (both sleep and decorative), and a new king mattress as is caves in the middle. The second bedroom is much smaller, and also needs a new mattresses. The living room furniture and rug are worn and has stains. The outdoor patio furniture also has stains, faded and worn cushions, and the faux plants need to be replaced. The kitchen and living room sofa have ants, yes, ants! We communicated with the property management company and was told that maintenance would come and spray the unit while were out. When we returned, we still saw ants. Maintenance came back, looked around and said an expert would need to be called, but gave no indication when that would happen. The master bath has soap scum on the glass shower door and the shower tile has definitely seen better days (this is how it looked when we arrived). The pictures on VRBO are from several years ago and a misrepresentation of the unit because the living room furniture is different, the mattress looks firm (it’s not) and the patio furniture cushions looks new in the pictures, but there not. In terms of the overall property, we had to park in the Beach Tower; be sure to stay in the lines or you’ll get a notice. All the poolside beach chair cushions need to be replaced, very worn. There’s a poolside bar, but I don’t think they sell food. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly, check-in and check-out was easy. My family and I were incredibly disappointed in the unit . The owners really need to invest a little bit of time and money to update the unit. If I could have gotten a full refund, I would have and stayed somewhere else.

The Vista Waikoloa is centrally located within the Waikoloa Beach Resort and offers spacious condominiums with fairway and ocean views of beautiful Anaeho'omalu Bay. Enjoy easy walking access to shops and restaurants at the Kings' Shops and Queen's Marketplace. All guests have free use of the Vista Waikoloa Recreation Center which includes a heated lap pool, two hot tubs, a large pavilion with gas BBQ's, a business center with WIFI and a fitness room. The check-in office is located on-site open 7 days a week with staff to personally greet you when you arrive. In terms of value, location and quality, the Vista is an excellent choice for your next stay at the Waikoloa Resort.
The good: 1) Ocean view from the lanai about 2 blocks away through the palm trees. Didn't miss coffee in the morning a sunset over the water at night. 2) Larger-size 2 bed 2 1/2 bath unit. Two lanais including one outside the master bedroom. 3) Master bath and second bath have a luxury feeling with stonework. 4) Staff was easy to work with. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Instructions were straightforward. 5) Lots of gas grills for your barbecuing pleasure The bad: 1) Just below the lanai is the road. Not a lot of traffic, but if that kind of thing bothers you, you might want to keep looking. A/C knocks out the noise inside. 2) Each toilet comes with a plunger. You will need them. 3) Furnishings are super-basic and more than a bit worn. OK for a short stay, but you will notice it after a while. 4) TV's are about 20 inches. You don't want to be here during the Super Bowl.

We booked this condo through Costco Travel, which included a standard size car from Costco. It was a 2 bedroom/2 bath with the view of the golf course and pool. It didn't disappoint. It was very spacious, clean, close to shopping and it was on the West side of the big Island of Hawaii, so we had virtually no rain. We'd defiantly stay there again and book through Costco Travel

Kahana Village features spacious 2 and 3 bedroom vacation rental condos right on a private white sand beach in northwest Maui, Hawaii. Great for large family holiday or romantic couple getaway. Kahana Village features an oceanfront pool and jacuzzi, as well as 4 gas grill bbqs right on the water. All beachfront villa units have a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and amazing views. We offer free for guests Mai Tai parties and Lei Making classes. Close to all the activities, shopping and restaurants of Kaanapali and Lahaina. Come enjoy all the amenities of home while staying just steps from the Pacific Ocean!
This is a great condo complex. There are around 40 units so it's not a giant place. It's right on the beach and most units have a view of the ocean. The beach is sandy, but there are rocks once you go out in the water. All the apartments came with coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and a 3 bedroom unit while we were there. They are privately owned so they were decorated very differently. We really liked the Mai Tai party that they have every Wednesday night by the pool. They have drinks, snacks, music, dancing, and they gave away some prizes. Very fun!

17 Palms Kauai is comprised of two Kauai vacation cottages in a garden setting chosen by Conde Nast Traveller Mag. As "one of the 5 perfect places to stay on Kauai" - a private oasis adjacent to Wailua Bay, one of Kauai's most popular beaches (made famous in Elvis' Blue Hawaii). Everything you need during your Kauai vacation is a short walk, located across the street from the beach path and one block from tons of restaurants and shops, rentals, live music, coffee roaster, farmer's market, etc. These are fully equipped, free-standing homes with complete amenities including complete kitchens, laundry, dishwasher, sharp knives!, Wi-Fi, and many other niceties, a true home away from home.
What a beautiful little property. These two "casitas" are privately situated on a beautifully landscaped lot featuring outdoor covered seating area and bar b que. The cottages were incredibly clean and well stocked with everything we required for our stay including well stocked kitchen and beach supplies. We couldn't have asked for a better location with the beach access trail out the back gate and Kapaa a lovely walk along the beach trail. This is one of my favorite stays! Thank you 17 Palms!

Dolphins Point Maui is a privately owned, oceanfront, gated property with three beautifully furnished and fully equipped suites. A truly unique Hawaiian vacation experience. Located on the white sands of Kamaole I Beach in Kihei/Wailea on the sunny side of Maui. Step back in time to the romance of the islands. No hustle and bustle, no high-rise condos, no crossing the street - its just you, the ocean and the sunsets!
This is our second stay at Dolphin Point and we have 4 weeks booked for Nov/Dec 2022. We are an active beach, ocean sports family and finding the Dolphin Point is like a dream come true! The rooms are well maintained and appointed with the Hibiscus being the nicest if you only need a one bedroom. It is also extra well suited to those who like to leave their window open at night and listen to the waves as it’s bedroom is the front most ocean facing. The property is the gem! You come through the gate and enter another world of privacy and beach access. I was literally steps to the water to drop my canoe in and go for a paddle. My children and grandchildren would spend hours on one of the nicest beaches Maui has to offer then walk a minute on the path to the house. A special note for Jackie the owner. She is kind of like a vacation Ninja, taking care of chores around the property without imposing on your family activities. She will find a non interfering time to have a quick chat and tend to your needs. A special lady. A bit of Dolphins Point magic with my grandchildren on their last day. We paddled our canoe out front of the property and encountered turtles and a rare sighting of a Manta-Ray which swam right underneath our boat. Love this place.

The wife and I were getting stressed, I had been having trouble at work, but we told each other let's give it a shot to start fresh together. We found this place online and decided to get away and this was just the right place. Not only was it smack dab in the middle of paradise, it gave us the feeling of escape that we needed to refresh and just relax. Everything about the aesthetic was relaxing and nice without being too nice that it felt stuffy. A dip in the pool? No problem! Dining under the umbrellas gave us the exhilarating feeling of being at a resort without the tacky tourist stickiness. Everything was just right. If you want to go on a real vacation, and have it feel like a real vacation. I can't recommend this place enough. Our stress is gone and the calm stays with us. This place allowed us to fall in love all over again. It could be exactly what you need in your life. It sure was for me and Carol. A fresh location can make you realize how many stressors really don't matter and focus on what really does. Life changing vacation, we're coming back for sure. I wish we could just move there! The tropical plants, the lingering evenings, the rejuvenating energy, everything was just right.

Really nice place, in fact the best place in Princeville for the view and price, so far for us! It is our 3rd time in Princeville with our children, and first time here. We loved the three hidden secluded beaches which are a pleasant walking distance away. The cable TV was not working, but we had plenty of DVDs and WiFi to entertain the kids in the evening. Two nights the party upstairs were very noisy, fortunately the neighbors complained as well once the quiet hours kicked in (10pm - 8am), and they cooled down, right on time for the kids to go to bed. Both sunrise and sunset are awesome from the front porch!
