Reviewed By Tracy SJust returned from this hotel would not recommend it at all our first room was dreadful a bit like being put in a prison cell. We ask for better room and had to pay another£280 all the furniture is dated and air con is more of a fan the balcony was nice but that's about all that was no English channels on the tv and the walls are all paper thin so you can hear every sound it is also miles away from the main coral bay strip.. so disappointed as this was our first holiday in 3 years.

Every morning you can walk to the sea (100 m), take a great swim and shower outside the appartment. 1 hour drive from Troodos, and 1/2 hour drive from Paphos, so great base for your stay at Cyprus. We return to this place every year.

This property is 6 min walk from the beach. Just 800 m from the beach, the family-run Follow the Sun Hotel Apartments is located in Polis Town. It boasts an outdoor pool with sun beds, pool bar and self-catered accommodation with garden views. A kitchenette offering a fridge, toaster, electric kettle and cooking hobs is standard in all the spacious studios and apartments. Each includes a satellite TV, seating area and balcony. Air conditioning is available upon request with surcharge. Each morning a Continental breakfast is served in the garden area which is surrounded by trees and colourful flowers. Refreshing drinks are provided by the pool bar, as well as light meals by the indoor snack bar. Staff at the Follow the Sun Hotel Apartments can arrange car and bicycle rentals. Wi-Fi is free in public areas of the property. Various cafés, taverns and shops are all within a 3-min walk. It is 8 km from Baths of Aphrodite and Akamas National Park. Latchi Village is at a distance 2 km.

Reviewed By Colin TWe arrived at 10.00pm instead of 5.00pm due to a 5 hour flight delay. I emailed the them from the airport and someone waited for us to arrive. We were let into room 12 which was absolutely freezing cold. The owners hadn’t the forethought to turn the heating on for our arrival so we spent the first night thinking we were on a SAS selection course. They say first impressions last so the freezing room was not good. Then opening the drawer on the dresser followed. Well actually the drawer followed me because when I went to open it the carcass of the drawer didn’t move but the drawer front was in my hand. Come light of day, and jumping on the spot fully dressed with every item of clothing we had packed to raise our body temperatures back to somewhere near normal, we surveyed our surroundings more in hope than expectation, we didn’t expect much and we were not disappointed. The pipes to the radiators and other areas of the plumbing were strangers to paint but not to rust. In fact it is fair to say that paint and the application thereof in any part of the apartment had not been a priority for at least the last 15 years. If you like stained pillows and quilts, dismantled furniture on the stairs leading to the rooms upstairs, outside areas that David Attenborough could make a entire wildlife series on then I would suggest this could for you. To be fair to Christina, who was very charming, we did not tell her of our concerns, we stayed another night then left and checked into a hotel to continue our long awaited break in comfort and warmth. Why didn’t we tell Christina? Because there was no point, it will take a team of builders to renovate the room and to be honest we only had a weeks holiday.

Erika, the Manager was so friendly and courteous, always willing to help if needed, we will definitely be back next year, we have friends who want to come with us this time. The location was perfect, private but within a 10 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants.

Reviewed By Keith EHi, We have just returned from a fantastic holiday with our best friends in Coral Bay, Paphos Cyprus. We stayed in the Secret Oasis Villa Ladania. What a perfect place to stay for our 2 week break. The Villa is located approximately 1.5km from Coral bay up in the hills with pleasant views from the patio and swimming pool area and is very quiet and secluded. WiFi and Internet access is poor, but this wasn't a real problem as the coverage in Coral bay and surrounding area was very good. Swimming pool is good and the pool man comes around every other day to service the pool, the outdoor furniture is a little dated and tired but is fit for purpose. A couple of the outside lights didn't work but was not a problem. Kitchen is adequate, there is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom in the main building and a separate twin bedroom in the separate anex, each bedroom has its own bath/shower room and toilet. In Coral bay there is a good selection of bar's and restaurants and of course Paphos is only a short drive away. In the previous reviews that I had read about this Villa before coming here, some people complained about the dogs barking in the morning yes we did hear them but it was not that bad to be honest. The only criticism I have is that you need to be careful when finding the Villa as it could do with better signage as you can miss it when driving up there for the first time. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends as a great place to stay.

Reviewed By juliedY8071BJI stayed at Villa marine for 17 nights with my husband, couldn’t fault it, lovely decor with private pool and sun loungers,very quiet and relaxing. We walked into Paphos harbour on the coastal path it’s a nice walk, takes about 20 mins with stunning views. Antonis is a great host, who can’t do enough for you, we will definitely be back, would highly recommend.

Perfect Villa and Venue for a Perfect Wedding
Reviewed By MattCopeMe and my wife stayed in one of the inland view villas, and the Thalassines' beach was the venue for our wedding. I cannot emphasise enough at just how nice the entire location is, the Villas are large, modern and high quality. There are plentiful towels, cooking facilities, tea and coffee and just everything you need to really make yourself at home. The pool is meticulously maintained and the villas are cleaned daily. The only issues we faced were the kettle occasionally tripping a fuse and some issues with the TV channels, however this really did not detract from the experience whatsoever. The whole complex is very private, and is a little gem in the area. The beach is beautiful, well looked after and quiet and the constantly manned beach bar/shop offers great food and drink all at very reasonable prices. The thing what really makes this venue special is the staff - Louise, Sheena, Carol and Pambos are all the MOST helpful hosts I have ever come accross in my travels. They are so accommodating and any issues that you may have they are so quick to sort out for you...whether it be arrange taxis, shopping or full on weddings, the team will have you covered. Thank you all for an unforgettable experience and for making our wedding day so very special.
