Lovely accommodation, fabulous hosts
Reviewed By 305liezelnWe had a most enjoyable stay at Villa Silene. Accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean. Ana was such a gracious hostess. The homemade preserves were a real treat at breakfast which was both ample and delicious. We were given plenty of much welcomed advice on which direction to head off in to best enjoy the views on our motorcycle. Will most definitely stay here again in the near future.

Reviewed By spaulovaIt’s always a pleasure return to this site. It’s an oasis in the midle of nowhere. This is one of those properties that you seek when you need to relax and recharge. There are birds and other animals around you to enjoy the wonderful landscape. But if you only want a very good and calm restaurant, with a tasteful cuizine, this os also the place. A very polite staff and wonderful food with a beautiful view . Don’t forget to apreciate all of this, with a very good wine produced in this reagion. We will go back for sure! ❤️

Reviewed By Maria WWe booked the Deluxe Suite to stay in on February 14th 2021 to celebrate both Valentines and our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed from booking to check out... Tânia (owner/manager) took my booking via messenger and answered all questions I had, then greeted us there at an arranged time and went through our check in with us, when we arrived at our room we fell in love with not just the decor which was chic and stunning, but the attention to detail all throughout such as champagne and two flutes by the free standing room in the bedroom, the selection of fresh fruit, melted chocolate, jelly/cream, liquor chocolates, more champagne in the mini fridge, two white robes, lit tea lights everywhere, the beautiful swans made from towels with a rose and scattered petals, the coffee machine all set up and some biscuits too, a bottle of water, a balcony with spectacular view over the Town... if you are looking to come visit the beautiful central part of Portugal then I recommend you stay at Villa Boutique, not only are you in the geographic centre of Portugal but you have access to some beautiful award winning river beaches, plenty of cafés, restaurants, shops, indoor market and only 1.5hrs from the Capital Lisbon... perfect for couples, individuals, families, trail walkers and much more... 5 stars ⭐️

Reviewed By Delphine DWe have just returned from a really lovely stay in this unique holiday village. It is an old village that has been refurbished into accommodation holiday lettings. Very authentic and comfortable with everything you need for the perfect break away from the Hussle and bustle of everyday life. The pictures really don't do this place Justice. The swimming pool is amazing and the gardens are so picturesque. It's a definite winner....a little piece of heaven

Quinta dos Carvalhos is a 65 Ha biological farm, located 1,5 km from the city centre of Castelo Branco. Two detached houses, each with two bedrooms with AC and private bathroom, living room/dinnig room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen/kitchenette, exterior barbecue and outdoor leisure areas. One of the bedrooms may have twin or double beds. Excellent quality of bedlinen and bathroom towels, as well as bath robes and amenities "NUXE" in each bathroom. All beds with feathers mattresses and two pillows (feathers and fibre). One extra bed or baby cradles upon request. Outdoor swimming pool next to a totally restored stone tank. Swimming pool towels provided to guests. Wi-Fi available and free. Exterior parking area. Exclusive boat trips, hiking with a guide and pic nics, my be organised upon request Beira Baixa region is one of the most charming and beautiful regions of Portugal, with its unique historical villages, like Castelo Novo and Monsanto, and the beautiful Natural Park of Tejo International.
A Pleasant Country Abode
Reviewed By marina060Sandra and Carlos we so very helpful, anything we asked for they found for us. Also they told us of good places to visit. We went on a lovely boat trip certainly worth going if you like river boats. The rooms were very nice and the swimming pools a welcome escape from the hot sun. There is no evening meal, it is necessary to drive at least 6 kilometers to a restaurant. You can buy wine or beer from them at very reasonable rates. Sandra made us bread and cheese one evening which saved us going out again that night. No TV in the room if you wish to relax in private.There is a large lounge with TV and Sofas. Pet friendly so good for our Yorkie. A nice country escape.

Reviewed By pokeb2016Una habitación con su baño privado y balcón. Y una zona de cocina compartida. Limpia, aire acondicionado moderno y silencioso. A pesar de estar al lado de la carretera no hay mucho tráfico en la zona. Cama muy amplia y cómoda.

Traditional house in a quiet village
Reviewed By ivanat84We spent a quiet night at Casa do Balcao. Alcains is a small village very close to Castelo Branco. The accommodation is in the center, in the old house which has been tastefully maintained and decorated with the attention to details. The room and common areas were spotlessly clean. We had a double room on the second floor. It was large, nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of the garden and the village roofs and church. The room had a sitting area and TV. The bathroom was spacious and had a shower. We could make our evening tea downstairs in the shared kitchen. The breakfast, served in ground floor dining room, was tasty and copious. Our host spoke English and was friendly. We could park on the street just next to the house. We recommend this place highly.

Os casal proprietário é de uma simpatia extrema, super atenciosos. A casa é muito acolhedora e com uma limpeza fabulosa. A repetir, sem dúvida.

Dans une maison traditionnelle rénovée avec grande qualité et décorée avec grand soin, les chambres sont très confortables et d'une propreté impeccable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. L'accueil est chaleureux et attentionné. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement situé au grand calme à proximité de Tomar, de Batalha, d'Alcobaça, de Nazaré, des grottes de la Serra de Aire et du fabuleux monument naturel des empreintes de dinosaures...
