As home to majestic mountains, opulent palaces, and high culture, Austria's attractions are classically sumptuous and enduring. But beyond the waltzes, the strudels, the alpine summits, and Habsburg architecture, its modern cities are proof of just how easily Austria combines the contemporary with the historic.

The former residence of the Baron de Mesnil, this place seems to have come straight out of the 19th century. Wood panelled rooms, all very classy, nice carpets, great views, etc. Food was just acceptable (so bit disappointing) and only outstanding on New Years Eve. Would come back as the price of 400 EUR for a family suite over Xmas was quite attractive.

It was a very nice and clean hotel. The best thing about it was it has a 'beach' to the lake Wortersee. As you get up you can directly go down the stairs and have a wake-up-swim and on the way back to your room you can have your breakfast since it takes place just on the lake side. A bit expensive but cheaper than the neighbouring hotels...

Enjoy your stay in Kitzbühel!
A old villa located close to the centrum. It's like 10 mins walking distance to the center. View from the villa is pretty good. It is run by an old lady who was so kind to us. Room was clean and tidy. Although we had a private bathroom it was outside the room in the hallway. Rooms are not sound proof in anyway. Also there was no wifi at rooms. Only at the front door we had WiFi. Breakfast was good. Place has a lot of old junk items lying here and there. Value for money is very less as we experienced.

The chalet has a spacious wood paneled living room with comfortable seating and is equipped with a flat screen TV & DVD player. On the lower ground floor you will find a Sauna where skiers can relax after that challenging day on the slopes.Your alpine home has direct views to the slopes of the Aberg mountain. As part of the immense Hochkonig circuit with 39 ski lifts and over 150km of prepared pistes some great skiing awaits you on this Austrian Holiday.
A real home from home in Maria Alm - we had a fantastic week in Chalet Sonne with Select. Nothing was too much for the Select from booking with Michelle and Martyn to a warm welcome from Paul, Seb, Tamar and Golan. A lovely chalet close to the slopes, plenty of snow and lovely food each day. The best family ski holiday and plenty of fun for adults and our teenage children. Thank you Select for all you have done for us! We will hope to be back again…

Enjoy an outstanding vacation in the "Gutshof" chalets right on the slopes, cycling and hiking trails. Enjoy the comfort of a modern home combined with the cosiness of a mountain lodge in this exquisite chalet in the middle of carinthia´s Ski and thermal spas town Bad Kleinkirchheim. Here, rustic Carinthian architecture is combined with excellent modern comfort. You´re in the best hands here with Trattlers Einkehr chalet restaurant, the ski-in and ski-out not to mention hiking and biking right in front of the house.
We spent a wonderful week in one of Trattlers Hof-Chalets, which are perfectly equipped, impeccably furnished and clean. Kitchen, fridge and wine cooler are readily available, so are a sauna, an open chimney and a lovely open-air tub. Great for dog-lovers, as there are many walks that start directly at the estate and take you along some brooks or through the nearby woods. All the facilities of a top tourist resort are within easy reach - spas, restaurants, shops, you name it. Extremely friendly and professional at reception. On-site restaurant with excellent cuisine and friendly staff.

Stay with us at St Martin Chalets and experience self catering luxury high in the beautiful Austrian Alps and the Lungau UNESCO Biosphere. Our ten luxury chalets are fully equipped for the most demanding self-catering holidaymakers, but we also receive a lot of bookings from people who might prefer the idea of staying in hotels and enjoying catered Austrian holidays thanks to our diverse offerings. For example we can arrange in-chalet meals (that happen to be Michelin starred but without the hefty cost!) and we'll stock your cupboards before you arrive, delivering freshly baked bread rolls every morning if you want. In addition we'll light your fires in winter so your chalet will be warm when you get back, sort out child care, have your ski and summer outdoor equipment delivered and fitted in your chalet... We like to think of it as the best of both worlds - you have all the benefits of a catered chalet, yet you can eat out in town or get carried away with apres-ski without feeling guilty about missing an evening meal. We are situated on-site ourselves (our house is adjacent to the St Martin Chalets resort) and you'll usually find us nearby or busying ourselves in the resort reception, so if you need anything we are never far away. It makes for a fantastically independent holiday for you and your family but in the knowledge that we are right there when you need us. We are a family owned and run business and even built the chalets ourselves so you can imagine our pride and desire to ensure you have the best possible holiday!
I have never written a review for one of our family travel destinations. However, the beauty of St. Martin community, responsiveness of staff, versatile ski slopes to accommodate my daughter who is a beginner and my son who's a 'wanna be' ski racer, and friendly wrap around services from morning fresh rolls on the door knob to ski school, it all adds up to us wanting to go back again. Added benefit is a quick car trip to the bottom station of the gondola and free parking there. Thank you so much and hope to see you soon!

The „Villa 7“ is located on the sunny “Hammerrain” and is quietly and, nevertheless, centrally situated with view to the world cup-slope. A skishuttle-busstop is directly in front of the house. The house offers enough parking space and a ski storage with a shoe dryer. The spacious and modern rooms (suiten/junior suiten) are equipped with balcony or garden, wooden flooring, living quarters with sofa bed, flatscreen-cable-TV, wifi and as well with shower/WC. Care produkts and a hairdryer are provided in each bathroom. In the morning you will get a delicious breakfast with high quality homemade products from the region.
We spent 5 days at Gerda’s and Daniel’s Villa. From the very first moment we felt welcome. The room was cozy, clean and spacious. The breakfast is excellent and there is a clear sense of high quality in every component and choice made in its supplies. From the heavenly buttery croissants and home made jams to the perfect scrambled eggs. We felt at home and fully charged to take on every day. Thank you Gerda and Daniel ?

We stayed here with another couple and our dog. The location of was recently (2 years) build and is located in the center of Schruns. We had a room on the second floor, which was very big for the 4 of us. Two large bedrooms, a very large bathroom and a nicely decorated livingroom and kitchen. The outside patio was nice as well, with nice views. If you are lucky to be on the top floor you'll get the best view, as ours was partly blocked by the roof of a neighbouring hotel. There is a service for bread in the morning, but also the supermarkets are 2mins away. The wellness was very large and clean, nice after a long day of hiking. In the region there are so many possibilities to hike, you'd have to stay for 2 years to get it all done! If we go back to Schruns I will defiantly try and get a room here! Oh and if you drive an electric car, charging is possible in the car park! Picture is the view from the patio.

We stayed at Villa Streintz for three nights when we attended a friend's wedding nearby. The accommodation was charming and very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast by the lake each morning was excellent. Some of the decor is a little tired, but that is part of its character. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Gerne wieder.
