After many years as a traveler, I must say that what I appreciate the most of any hotel is how customer-centered and aware of their guests' needs they are. It's a hard-to-find quality, as many hotels treat customers as if they were getting a burger in a fast food chain restaurant, where there are no options or exceptions but what it is offered. Arbolar is a refreshing exception. I'll explain.I'm a very tall person, much taller than average. During our check-in, the hotel owner expressed to me her concern: I would not comfortably fit in the shower. She was right: even though there's a bath tub, you would have to start to duck if you're any taller than 6'2". So she offered me to change me to a different room - which was smaller, but the bathroom roof was higher. We spent but one night in that room. Next morning, she was still concerned that we wouldn't be comfortable, so she offered to move us to one of the houses, at no extra charge. The house was just beautiful, and incredibly comfortable, luminous, with every amenity you may need for your vacation. Room service is also very good, discrete, and unobtrusive. My only criticism is that for the price they could offer breakfast. They do offer to provide breakfast which is prepared by a third party. We used this option once, but it was a let down. You'd be much better off fixing your own breakfast or getting one in town. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and I would recommend it highly.

Complejo vacacional para familias y parejas
Location- It is in the middle between San Rafael and Valle Grande- where all the attractions are. About 15 minutes each direction. The outside is beautiful and the kids had lots of room to play and run around. Inside the cabanas- not that great. We were there at the end of December and for some reason there was a cold wave. We were freezing at night. It was not very easy to operate the heaters so we had to wait till morning. I also had the bad luck not to have hot water in the shower since there was no more gas. To their credit- they fixed it right away. The cabana does not have an inner phone so you need to go and find the owners for any request you have. They do not offer breakfast. There is no restaurant close by so it's better to buy stuff before you arrive or to eat at San Rafael or Valle Grande. Also no WiFi at the cabanas- only close to the club.

Our complex has only five cabins, have called with the names of trees, Oak, Aguaribay, Eucalyptus, Gum and Cypress. Each cottage has different amenities, and are removed (to more than 140 meters apart) and separated by overgrown so you have total privacy. We have soccer, 2 pools, chairs, natural shade of aged trees and a beautiful park of 37000 m2 with more than 1500 trees, more than 300 different species, we are in a very safe, away from the road, quiet country but close to everything, we are located 2 km from the city center. Camping In Our Refuge, you and your family will find a safe and relaxed atmosphere, moments of rest and privacy, where comfort and service quality are present in every detail.

our family of 5 went to spend Christmas and were very comfortable in the cabaña 1. It is the closest to the road, but you can hardly hear any noise at all. It has 3 bedrooms, a large living room and 2 bathrooms. Our boys loved the place, one can walk endlessly around Puerto Manzano and there are a couple of lovely places to eat nearby - I recommend Nanook on the main road to Villa Angostura, great trout, cool service and beers. the place has a good garden and a heated pool, that we did not use. One of the reasons I won't give it 5 stars is that the shower room is really tiny and uncomfortable, and floods everytime you take a shower). the other bathroom is really fine, with a large bath. And it has no view (there is a construction site nearby, abandoned it seems, as we saw no activity, but it is an eyesore. Not the fault of the owner though. The owner Alejandro is a lovely congenial man, very friendly and ready to help if needed. I can only recommend his place, good relation quality-price for the area.We had a wonderful time there!

We stayed at Eco Posadas for 3 nights when we first arrived in Argentina. Absolutely loved it, the area itself is teeming with wildlife and the hotel has its own animal routine, with an iguana popping out for lunch everyday and a toad appearing for dinner every evening. The rooms were comfortable and Estrella, Andrea and Pablo were great hosts. The excursions were fun and we saw so many animals it was unreal! I've left one mark off only for the food. What we had was tasty but I would have liked some more fruit/veg. Possibly not so easy given the remote location!
