Boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms and clean. Air-conditioned. Plus points iron in the bedroom instead of the lobby. Friendly and helpful staff Mimi. Clean toilet. Minibar included. Provided basic soap dispenser , soap bar and toothbrush, mineral water and coffee, towels. Located in shoplot area, 2 storey building, next to watson.Pizzahut, KFC, Subway all within reach. Easy access to local food and a lot of food stalls with no seating though but variety from laksa, sotong, tea, nasi kerabu. Also walking distance to 7-11, restaurants nearby, also near to bank and pharmacy and if u left something behind dont worry boutique hotel is walking distance to Mydin. Parking quite challenging during the day, but at night a bit easier. Value for money. Hotel with lift and safety (firedoor, smoke detector) Wish wifi was better and more variety for tv channels. Aircond so sejuk so nice. The

Room average, not much facilities, good and friendly reception but the ombak cafe is terrible. The staff attitude is terrible and rude. Don’t take the package basically it is not buffet (multiple choice), it just simple rice, chicken, Vege and eggs n most important, make sure u go early, else u will need to eat those left over. If u ask any refill, they will just walk away like non of their business, n when u try to to order ala carte menu, they will tell u they r very busy and everything also don’t have. Burger out of stock, pizza out of stock.. When u continue follow up then what am I suppose to eat, they will just fried a noodles and tell u.. go n eat the refill with the sarcastic face and keep nagging behind (hey, I understand ur language between). Seriously? That’s the attitude? Maybe u r the only proper cafe on the beach but we pay for the foods not ask for free. Hope u improve ur service. Just go if u love to starve urself and enjoy the bad attitude cafe staff in Ombak. Worst island trip ever in my life. ??????????

Overrated. We booked the room based on the rating. However, we were so dissapointed! Firstly the room is very spooky. The floor is sticky and it has a weird kinda smell. Supposed 2 stay 2 nights but we checked out early in the morning after 1 night! Never again!!

Not recommend for families travel. Bath Tower provided very old (lucky I bring from home). Big lizard enter from broken mosquito net (after complaints no action taken). Location also not very good. Only if u decide to climb the high hill every time you want to see the beach. Also no make up room for 4days and 3night stay. Dustbin outside of the room also not clean. You still can see the rubbish from the first day you arrive till departure day. Corridor very smelly. Not recommend at all

I have stayed at drock garden few times and this resort will be my number one list if I am going to long beach perhentian. I will always booked the a/c standard chalet without any meals option. Pros : Great seaview from our room. Comfy stay. 24hr electicity supply. Cons: Up in the hill. Basic room amenities ie towel, soap bar, shampoo. Most staff does not seem to understand english. Overall I can say this resort was pretty basic. Suitable for those who are not expecting any luxury and just want to enjoy the sun, sea and the view.

The Perhentian Marine Rsearch Station is a hostel and a marine research station. Your fee covers diving activities (up to two dives a day), training and lectures on conservation. The House is based in the Malay village where we have, to date, trained 5 local villagers in coral reef survey techniques. We are conservation and sustainability focused; if you want to experience the real culture of Malaysia as well as contribute to conservation in an ecotourism way, then stay with us.
It's all about the people. When you're living among lovely people, and hosted by lovely people, everything that is normally reviewed in this kind of accommodation reviews falls away in importance. I can't really add much more to what other reviewers have already said about the location, the programme, the experience, the knowledge and passion of the hosts/trainers. Neil, Sabi and Dave are so sweetly integrated into the Muslim neighbourhood, and likewise integrates their guests. Being Malaysian myself, I'm proud that the island is so loved by such wonderful people.

We booked houseboat buyong for 3d2n. On the first day, our first pit stop was at Lasir waterfall.the view was stunning. On the 2nd day, we went to Kelah sanctuary. We had to walk about 1 hour to reach the place .The view was amazing and we had really enjoyed ourselves playing with the fish. This is the best experience ever . On the last day, our final stop was at Sauk waterfall. I really enjoyed the trip and looking forward to come back again. Recommended for those who loves fishing and loves the Mother Nature.
