Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi, is straight from the pages of a Gothic fairytale. A deep valley forms the backdrop to brightly colored turrets, cobblestoned streets, and a burgeoning art scene, while warm Georgian hospitality permeates the mix of contemporary and traditional restaurants serving up local favorites.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights. The room was very clean, large and quiet. The breakfast is good and staff is very polite. You can feel like at your home. The hotel is very near to city center and you can go everywhere by walking. We hope to visit again.

Welcome to the only privately owned historical Castle in Georgia. Once a fortress before the Mongol invasions, it was from the 16th century the house of the Persian Shah Administrator for Eastern Georgia. It also hosted a small nunnery for some time. During the Communist period, it was transformed into communal apartments for up to 110 individuals. It has returned to its former glory, and a limited number of its rooms are made available for some happy few.
My wife and I visited the Castle in November 2021 and stayed in the Armory room. The Castle is beautiful and well maintained. The Castle arranged for Airport pick up where we were greeted by Victor who had out name on his sign. Upon arrival at the Castle the Staff was waiting for our arrival to take us to our room. If anything made our trip the best, it was the hospitality that the staff of the Castle showed us. The two people at the Castle made us feel welcomed were Andro and Nika. Both Andro and Nika helped us with reservations, recommendations and even PCR testing. The staff hospitality absolutely added to our Amazing trip at the Castle. We will stay again at the Castle next time we are in Tbilisi and look forward to the Georgian hospitality showed us by the Staff.

We had a wonderful experience in the Hotel Wine Palace. The front desk and all the personal working were very efficient, kind and helpful. All the property is high quality, very clean, and has a fantastic old time charm. We felt like we are were king and queen while we were drinking wine in the open bufe wine cella, generously open for us.

Our feedback of this hotel is utterly disappointing –according to their version, they did not awkwardly confirm our reservation upon check-in (???) so we were compelled to directly pay upfront to the hotel. Besides, the breakfast is limited to some local dishes with no even fresh made coffee (only instant Nescafe) and the lady in charge does not speak English at all. On the top of everything, the pool was not operating although it is advertised in their profile ‘due to COVID restrictions’ [sic] although we found other hotels with open pools in the city. It was an overall poor experience so we do not recommend that other potential guests book here.

“Brim Tbilisi” is located in one of the oldest districts of the city. Avlabari with its ancient defensive wall makes this place even more priceless and interesting. We are glad to have an opportunity to host guests in such a historic environment. “Brim Tbilisi” combines a hotel and two restaurants. Since Tbilisi always invokes interest with its old neighborhoods and attractive stories, we will try to promote urban development of the city.
I travel to Georgia, Tbilisi quite often for work and thus I’ve been to many different hotels in this city. I can certainly say that Brim Tbilisi stands out from every other hotel. The atmosphere was very comforting and relaxing, mostly because of the very friendly staff, they are easy to talk and quick to take action if something goes wrong. Furthermore, room itself was wonderful, the room I stayed at had a large terrace with a great view of the city center, design of the room was very interesting and beautiful. The cherry on top for Brim Tbilisi is its restaurant on the top floor. Food was very tasty, once again staff provided amazing service, and the view from the terrace of the restaurant was simply stunning.

Hotel MARIAM R offers you to enjoy a holiday in the heart of Old Tbilisi, to feel the full flavor of Georgian hospitality, wine and cuisine. Each guest is special for us.
There were loys of good things abouth this hotel with only a couple of downsides. Good 1. The staff (Anna and Tika (?)) were very helpful and friendly. 2. The location was perfect, in the heart of the Old Town just a few steps away formu from Meidan Square. 3. The room was very nice with a comfy bed and no problems with hot water. 4. There was free tea and coffe available at all times. Not so good 1. The breakfast was rather boring - the sane every day. A buffet arrangement would have been nicer rather than have it all plated up. 2. No lift and steep stairs. Not a problem for me but less fit people might have difficulties. 3. I stayed 4 nights and the room was not cleaned once nor were the towels changed.

The hotel is very quaint and nicely decorated .The rooms are big enough and comfortable .The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the old town But you can download Bolt the very cheap taxi service that takes you anywhere very cheaply .Now for the extra special qualities of our stay .The breakfast freshly cooked everyday with a different Georgian speciality and as we didnt eat meat the cook made us a variety of vegetarian goodies everyday .Also an omlette or pancakes were made on order .The homemade wine which was given on 2 occassions .And the service was so personal Then the manager from our booking on line where he recommended Using Bolt as a cheaper way to get to the airport .To him going out and buying us a safe as there was no safe anywhere for our passports and money To him booking and paying for our train tickets to Batumi where I paid him back .Lets also mention they never took a credit card number or asked for payment of the hotel But I wanted to pay before the end of our 5 day stay .He personally drove us into town one day and said he would pick us up if needed. And the most amazing thing was he got up very early in the morning and drove us to the train station The other side of the city filling his car with our heavy cases and giving us a guided tour on the journey and we received a lovely leaving gift as well .I have worked in a massive International Hotel chain for 40 years .Travelled the world But the service at Hills was Beyond anything we have ever experienced . Me and my husband and inlaws wish this wonderful hotel and its owners and staff .Lots of success and business after the difficult time in 2020 and most of 2021.we cant reccomend it enough
