Tiny Skiathos is packed with pine forests, archaeological ruins, and—most importantly—beaches. Shed your inhibitions at the nudist Banana Beach or have a more modest sun session at Koukounaries, which is peppered with lively cafes. Sail around on a chartered catamaran, hike to the dramatic medieval ruins of Kastro and tap into your spiritual side at one of Skiathos many monasteries.

A excelent location, quaiet, hi quality staff and customers. About the food, great, tasty and so on... A good report quality/price. Desert on meniu have no price and came for free. If you like vintage stuff, you can admire in a modern building. We love this place!

The best thing about the room was by far the location. The beautiful Megali Ammos beach is just 10' away on foot and the town centre is 3'. Very clean and simple, wish there were a small sink or kitchen so we could prepare a small breakfast, but there are lots of bakeries nearby where you can grab a quick bite. Also I thought there would be a hair dryer though I we didn't much mind. The owner was polite and easy to communicate with also very discreet. The small terrace on the roof was also a nice little plus.

Overall we had a lovely holiday in Skiathos in August and were lucky to get away this year. This accommodation has good and bad points as I will try to explain. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the beach (koukounaries) and a little further walk to other quieter beaches (mandraki) It is also near to really nice places to eat and drink. There is a regular bus goes past the studios that will take you to other villages and Skiathos town - well worth exploring. The bar sells a limited selection of food and drinks, very good greek salad. The studio room is very basic, probably more basic than I anticipated. Its not really equipped for self catering unless you get inventive with a a frying pan ie - toasties, eggs etc. I was surprised there was no toaster. The air con worked well and was needed (chargeable). There is a safe available to hire also. The bathroom is basic however the hot water was plentiful and decent pressure so can't complain about that. After many hotel and self catering stays I think the 2 things that really make a difference to our enjoyment is a decent shower and a good bed. Unfortunately the bed was shockingly bad, I could feel every spring in the thin mattress and the mattress protector was plastic and crinkled and crunched like a crisp packet when turning over. We stayed a night in Skiathos town for a treat and a decent bed for the night. I did mention it to the Jet2 rep but he didn't seem interested. The owner was a little chilly and not that friendly in all honesty, the younger male staff behind the bar was more welcoming. Next time we visit Skiathos we will pick a different area to stay in.
