Bosnia and Herzegovina's fascinating capital Sarajevo nestles among dramatic peaks, a bustling and welcoming city. War took its toll, with the 1992-1996 siege hitting hard. But the lively, diverse, museum-rich city has been almost entirely reconstructed. Don't miss Bijambare caves, set in thick forests and amid lakes to the north of the city, or Bosna Springs, from which the country takes its name. Site of 1984's Winter Olympics, Sarajevo offers spectacular skiing on Mount Bjelasnica Jahorina.

We stayed here for 1 night and really liked it. The owners are very friendly and accomodating and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathroom and kitchen are shared, but for the price it is really good value. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk into the old city, has a lovely garden, wi fi and TV.

First contact was with Aldin, our host. Extremely nice and helpful, always there for you, or a phone call away. Room was perfectly clean, spacious enough for 3 with double bed and an armchair to be stretched to a single bed if needed. Bedding and towels were clean and freshly washed. Bathroom is en-suite with a toilet, shower and a small cupboard with a washbasin. In the room is a flat tv and free wi-fi, an open wardrobe, little coffee table and a chair. It's also equipped with an air condition, which we used to heat up the room. If you arrive by car, secure parking place is provided 2 minutes walking distance away for additional payment. All in all it is a wonderful place to stay, suitable for couples, families with small children, or a small group of travellers. Will not go into describing the beauties of Sarajevo and Bascarsija. Come and find out for yourself. You will not regret it. And be sure to check out Tuffo's availability. We will be back for sure :-).

The air-conditioned Spa Hotel Terme is located in the suburb of Ilidza, 4 km from Sarajevo International Airport. The impressive array of wellness facilities on offer includes a hot tub, a sauna, a gym, and a massage parlour. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge. All of the en-suite rooms are equipped with air conditioning and flat-screen satellite TV. The interior design is functional and cosy. The Spa Hotel Terme has 2 indoor swimming pools to choose from. Guests can dine at the large on-site restaurant and enjoy an after-dinner drink in the bar. The hotel can arrange picnics at the natural springs of the neighbouring Vrelo Bosne National Park. Other popular outdoor activities in the natural surroundings include skiing and hiking. The bustling city centre lies approximately 10 km to the north-east of the hotel.
I was in this hotel for a month and can say that this hotel is a bit expensive. Food in the beginning was alright and had some choices, however, later quality and quantity decreased. Rooms were not bad but expensive. When I say expensive, I match the design and comfort with the price. Personnel was nice. Location is very good, but view from some rooms was awful. So make sure you book proper one. Gym was good, swimming pool not bad as its depth is just 1.40 sm. Laundry service in the hotel is very expensive. My overall opinion: it is medium hotel with a bit high prices.

As you can se on the picture below, this is a dinner buffet at 20:14. Let me just say that dinner is from 19:00 till 20:30. Place is full, packed.. Huge line on the opening (line is not a problem, problem is empty line 15 minutes before closing, and they are cleaning it, even beverage station is emptied). Overall experience, not worth the money.
