A busy, lived-in feel makes Salerno a refreshing contrast to touristy destinations on the nearby Amalfi Coast. With open-air cafés, a working waterfront that commands a gorgeous stretch of water, and medieval landmarks, there’s plenty to reward travelers who linger.

Stayed for a week, whilst on a course in Salerno. Lovely people and breakfast downstairs was very good too. Room and shower clean and perfect for my short stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Excellent. Thank you

We spent a week in one of the rooms offered by the b&b. The location is very remote from the city and beaches, in an industrial area wellknown for prostitution. If you don't have a car forget it-almost impossible to reach the city by public transport. The place itself is very clean and well kept but the landlady is lacking hostess skills. Since the dinner and evenings activities start late in the south( at 9pm )we came late the night(1-2 am) and we missed regularly the breakfast. When we asked the food to be left for us(only sweet things, italian kind of breakfast) the lady said it is not possible. When I needed an iron it was not possible either. At each question the answer was "look it up in the facilities and conditions of b&b and you'll see it". I don't advise the place if better locations are available. The price was high compared to other similar lodgings. The water at shower was changing constantly of temperature regardless of our efforts to have a certain temperature, a problem due to the plumbing system with an reservoir not big enough for the task.

B&B IN CENTRO STORICO SALERNO is a cozy place located in the heart of the old town just a little distance from the main tourist attractions. From here you can reach the Duomo of San Matteo and the main historical sites of the city such as the Giardini of Minerva of the famous Scuola Medica Salernitana on foot, or dedicate your day to shopping or have an aperitif on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele
Great central location, right next to everything we needed (restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy...). The aparment was very cozy, the bed was comfortable and we loved the shower with the lights. Our host was very nice to us and we had a great time in Salerno.

The B&B D'Angleterre is located in the heart of the historic center of Salerno. The structure overlooks Lungomare Trieste and wants to revive the majesty of L'Hôtel d'Angleterre, built in the mid-1800s and a popular destination for international tourism. After over a century, D'Angleterre has reopened with a B&B to offer unique stays to its travelers: Via Roma, the street where the structure is located, has a great variety of places of great interest close at hand, from restaurants to lounge bar and pub. The B&B D'Angleterre has 3 bedrooms: two large double bedrooms and a spacious quadruple family room, all characterized by the typical Vietri ceramic flooring.
Consigliato comunque..
