Located 4 blocks away from the central park on 4th Ave, this is a budget hotel with about 9 rooms in 2 floors. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms have hot water at any time. Continental breakfast is served so you can grab some coffee before venturing out in the morning, and save some money. It does not have parking, so if you have a car, you have to find a place for about $10 per night. 2 blocks away from La Merced. The gatekeeper/front desk guy, Fernando, will make you feel right at home and will get you what you need in a very kind way. They also have a kitchen and a fridge if you need to keep some cold drinks.

This is a restored family home turned into a boutique hotel. It's small - only 7 rooms - so that makes for a more personal experience. All rooms are on the main floor. Everything is kept very clean with personal touches throughout. Staff is professional and courteous. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Rooms are very comfortable but small as are the bathrooms, however they are well appointed with everything you should need. I am very fussy and particular about where I stay and this hotel meets my high expectations without being ridiculously expensive. The hotel is about 7 walkable blocks from Central Park and one block from La Merced Church.

La Reunion Golf Resort and Residences is located 20 minutes from the colonial city of Antigua, declared a Heritage of Humanity Site by UNESCO in 1979. Built on an old coffee plantation, it is surrounded by four volcanoes. The centerpieces of the project are an 18 hole Pete and Perry Golf Course and a 26 all suite boutique hotel and villas.
All La Reunions are all 5 star hotels and golf courses. VERY, VERY nice and a memorable experience. Slightly spendy but worth the money for the experience and beauty. If you pass one, stop in for lunch and look around....

the hostal del artista y arte is located on avenida 6 norte just a few blocks from the beautiful iglesia de la merced . when i first was dropped off there , it felt a bit far from the center of town but in fact , antigua is so compact that a short walk will take you to the parque central or the mercado municipal . from the minute i walked in , i felt very welcome by the family who runs it. it ' s a very small place with only 5 rooms , 1 downstairs and the rest upstairs . all the rooms are different in size and nicely decorated , i stayed in the smallest one which still was quite spacious with one very comfy double bed . there was plenty of hot water in the shower but my only complain was that the shower head was old and a bit broken and the water would splater all over the floor despite the shower curtain .... the family allows the guests to use their very well equipped kitchen which is always a big plus for me as i love to fill up on local produce ! they do not serve breakfast but the also run the backpackers ' hostel next door and they serve a pretty cheap breakfast there .... there is also a roof top terrace which is a great place to relax and soak up the rays on a hot day ! staying at the casa del arte made my few days in antigua extra special , it ' s just one of the many beautiful accomodations available in the town but also one i found to be of the best value for the money , totally recommended for the friendliness of the family who owns it and the overall quality of the place ! if you are looking for a safe , very clean and friendly place to stay , look no further !

Hotel Casa de las Mascaras offers bed&breakfast accomodations to its guests. It has 10 rooms in total. Within the price range per room two breakfast are included and a parking space. It has a beautiful garden, common areas and a nice patio where guests can enjoy the view besides having breakfast.
