Panoramic and commode.
This is a fantastic place. Location is top, food is great and good value. Private beach, not a sand beach but nice for swims / cliffs. Close to city center and very nice helpful staff. Def comeback to this place.

The residence is quite nice and well maintained. The apartments are basic and the furniture and decor was somewhat tired. The overall place however, is clean and the pool/bar area is overall rather pleasant. The coastline in Palinuro is beautiful and the clear water and wide beaches make the location rather attractive. The residence however is very far away from the beach and the road to get there is narrow and steep. Car parking was a major issue as we weren't told there was a car park available for the lido's customers. To be able to find a parking spot nearby, we had to go to the beach at sunrise. The alternative would have been the shuttle, but running twice a day only, that too, is rather inconvenient. The residence has a bar but the nearest shops and restaurants are in Centola or on the seaside. Although the distance is limited, getting there and back takes some time, due to the state of the roads. On the other hand, being immersed in the vegetation halfway through between the top of the hill and the seaside, the views from the balcony are indeed stunning. The residence offers animation and mini club. The staff is nice and friendly. However, we found the animation much more oriented towards grown-up teenager children, with constant music and dancing by the pool, than for smaller children. Let's say that if you're looking for some quiet reading by the pool, this is not the place for you, especially in August. Timetable is lose, and again, with children, that means never knowing when and if the pool or the bar will be open and how long you can actually stay there before dinner or before bedtime. Again, the whole place is oriented towards families with grown up children which, indeed, make up the majority of the guests, at least in August. Overall, I'd say it's a nice place, but I would recommend only if you're a fan of loud music, group dancing and summer pop hits. If you're aiming at seaside life, and some balance between entertainment and relax, I'd say look elsewhere

A bit out of the way but worth it- Very clean with value based evening meals available. We used this hotel as a base for 3 full days to visit Pompeii & the Amalfi Coast areas. A good value- quiet, new, excellent parking and close enough to local conveniences- gas station & small grocery stores.

We spent a week in one of the rooms offered by the b&b. The location is very remote from the city and beaches, in an industrial area wellknown for prostitution. If you don't have a car forget it-almost impossible to reach the city by public transport. The place itself is very clean and well kept but the landlady is lacking hostess skills. Since the dinner and evenings activities start late in the south( at 9pm )we came late the night(1-2 am) and we missed regularly the breakfast. When we asked the food to be left for us(only sweet things, italian kind of breakfast) the lady said it is not possible. When I needed an iron it was not possible either. At each question the answer was "look it up in the facilities and conditions of b&b and you'll see it". I don't advise the place if better locations are available. The price was high compared to other similar lodgings. The water at shower was changing constantly of temperature regardless of our efforts to have a certain temperature, a problem due to the plumbing system with an reservoir not big enough for the task.

On a recent 6-week trip to Italy we found many great bed and breakfasts, places in wonderful locations with lovely furnishings, delicious breakfasts and helpful hosts. But when visiting Paestum we learned that the true test of a host comes during an emergency. After arriving at B&B Cilento I became quite sick and our host, Sergio, went into immediate action. He called the paramedics to come to the house, asked his cousin Toni to come and translate for us and then he went with us to the emergency clinic. He then got on his bicycle and rode off into the night to collect my prescriptions from the pharmacy while Toni went out to get us some dinner. In short, they couldn't have been more helpful and kind. I honestly don't know what we would have done without their help. And just for the record, Sergio's house is tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. Our room was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. On arrival he served us a selection of cheeses and breads with a little local wine; breakfast was equally generous and delicious. Considering that we only stayed one brief night, we left feeling more like friends than clients. I simply can't recommend Cilento Paestum more highly. When all our other memories of this trip have faded, we will still be remembering and talking about Sergio's outstanding warmth and kindness.

Stayed here for four nights recently with my husband. Carlos, the man who manages the property and grandson of the owner, got in touch the day of check-in to see if we needed support with anything - we took him up on his offer and he organised our taxi to Ravello from Naples. He was also available via the booking website to answer a question I had sent a few weeks prior about parking. The property is located in a central location and set in gardens which are used to grow some of the fruits and vegetables served at breakfast! The double rooms each have a balcony with a view of Scala and receive afternoon sun (awnings on each balcony save you from the heat)! Our room had a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, small fridge with drinks (at a charge) complimentary toiletries (shower cap, toothbrush and toothpaste, bar of soap, shampoo) and free (strong!) wi-fi. We found the bed quite hard and being pregnant this didn't help, however for just a handful of nights meant it wasn't a problem. My husband and I both appreciated the opportunity to stay in an authentic home!

This hotel provides a comfortable and very nice accommodation in the city centre of Amalfi. The whole building has been freshly redecorated internally, with nicely design rooms and contemporary ensuites. Staff was professional, helpful and polite. Breakfast is served on the top floor, where you have an amazing terrace overviewing the roofs of the town. There are lots of sweet and salty options, all made with fresh ingredients and delicious. Very good Covid precautions in place. The only perplexity was that the light on the bottom wall of our shower enclosure had its electric cable coming out of the wall and exposed to the water of the shower. To me this constitutes a severe risk of electrocution, regardless of how well the protective sheath was installed: this area is what it's called a "zone 1" and must have a minimum IP65 rating for all lighting fixtures. The hotel told me that this is the alarm cord which is needed in case someone doesn't feel well, although those cords are usually hung from the ceiling and they are just ropes, while this one was thicker: its location and the fact that it was connected to the light mean it is indeed electric. I have included a picture of this, so you can judge for yourself. Aside from this dubious and slightly eerie detail, everything else was impeccable.

Stayed for a week, whilst on a course in Salerno. Lovely people and breakfast downstairs was very good too. Room and shower clean and perfect for my short stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Excellent. Thank you
