These beautifully appointed, newly renovated rooms offer decadent amenities. This 15 bedroom regal hotel is modern meets vintage, ideal for everything from a staycation to chic wedding venue. Complete your night off with a dinner reservation at the fine dining restaurant or a night cap in the Smith & Barrel Pub, both located on site.
The hotel is a charming building with friendly staff. We stayed two nights, one of them with no power whatsoever nor warm water. This was however not the hotel’s fault as a big storm hit southern Ontario leaving many in the same unfortunate situation. The Hotel managed everything greatly despite the circumstances. If you’re in the area, or travelling to Ottawa, it’s worth going a little out of your way to support this small business instead of staying with the big Hotel chains. You won’t be disappointed.

With four-bedroom suites and 1200 guest rooms in all, Fanshawe College has what it takes to meet the needs of any group or individual. All suites feature four bedrooms with double beds, cable television and high-speed Internet access, two private bathrooms stocked with toiletries and plush towels, a living room area with a couch, chair and TV and a kitchenette and dining area with a refrigerator, microwave, table and four chairs.
"+": It is very interesting deal from the price/quality ratio, very good breakfast (comparing with breakfasts in Canada hotels and hostels), 24-hours reception (that was very convenient for very late return from Niagara Falls "-": Very basic furniture, rather small rooms. But these are not disadvantages for such modest price :)

This is a beautiful 1906 Georgian manor that has big bright rooms as well as the jail themed rooms for that authentic jail feel . Lots to do in Cobourg . Places to eat and entertainment abound , especially in the summer . We are steps from the 5th nicest beach in Canada. We are in the downtown on the harbour and steps away from Victoria Hall and the Heritage downtown. Our own Pub/Restaurant is 75 yards away at 38 Covert St which is an easy walk. Shopping and restaurants for many tastes and what ever tickles your fancy or your palates. We of course have all the usual fast food restaurants a short drive or bus ride or Cab Fare away. We are 60 Mile east of Toronto about a mile south of Highway 401 which runs east to Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal or all of Quebec. West, we have Highways 401, 407, 404, 400, 403 and the Queen Elizabeth Way connecting the GTA and all of Ontario right down to Niagara Falls. The GTA (Toronto) is currently the fastest growing city in N. America with its Airport.
First, the location is excellent....close to the downtown with lots of bars and restaurants, as well as close to the waterfront and beach. Access to the hotel is a little quirky as mentioned in other reviews....must call ahead and be let in, and no eating establishment on site, but the jail room we had was impressive - spacious (originally 3 cells), big comfy bed and very clean. The tv streaming was a little shaky so amenities were limited, but still a fun experience for a night or two!

Enjoy the convenience and comfort of staying at St. Lawrence College residence. We offer a variety of comfortable single and double rooms. For joggers and cyclists, enjoy the beauty of Lake Ontario Park and take advantage of the biking trails. We also rent out our banquet hall and classrooms for conferences and groups.
Accommodation location was great. Value for $ spent was good. Basic rooms with private bath and fridge, internet ..maybe for reasons relating to covid-19, sheets and pillow cases missing. Front desk staff friendly and reservation in order.

Super clean hotel, cable channels, comfy bed and toiletries provided. Yummy breakfast and Alida (I think its Alida who was was there) couldn’t be friendlier- she was so helpful. Great location! Can’t fault this place!

I somehow managed to think Traverston is a few miles from Montreal. It isn’t. I realised this only the day before we were due to arrive, and the team very kindly allied a late cancellation. Thank you! I’m sure we would have loved our stay! Next time … !

Closest motel to bon echo provincial national park with fantastic fishing and kayaking. Estimated 5000 lakes around sand beach . Motel is on Hwy41 right across from gas station. Amazing opportunity for ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, atv’ing, boating and motorcycling getaways!!!
Three couples booked one room each: one couple staying for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday), the others for 1 night (Saturday). There was no water available at all on Friday so no showers or washing; water restored by Saturday night, but no offer for compensation or reimbursement. There are no dining or snacking options except for the gas station/convenience store across the highway. The rooms were clean but 'clinical' - felt like an old institution. There is NO cell phone reception at all in the rooms, poor reception in hallway - you have to go outside. The exterior is kind of sad and grim, especially considering the incredible area the Inn is located in - nothing nice to see but highway, gas station and someone's home behind the motel. We were all checked out in plenty of time early Sunday morning, but my SIL discovered that she'd been billed for an additional night's stay on Monday! We are still trying to get in touch with the Inn but they do not seem to answer their phone or emails. I regret booking there at all and that I am unable to recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed here on a trip from Toronto to PEI and it was clean and comfortable, with good service. The wifi worked well, and the washroom was spotless. Recommended for travellers on a budget. I'd stay here again.
