Affordable and comfortable Accommodation in the heart of Kamo Township Whangarei. 10 min to Whangarei CBD and 20min drive to the coastal tourist route. Gateway to the far north. The Kamo Hotel Restaurant and Bar have it all Under One Roof with accommodation, Sports Bar with gaming machines, pool tables and a separate Lounge bar with a restaurant. Large Secure car parking.

Reviewed By stevehayw00dThis restaurant has no gluten free options, and as table of seven this was only mention when it came to ordering, it wea the waitresses Frist night bit she has no training she asked what we would like to drink? We asked what are the options she pointed to the food menu and when we pointed out that it was food menu she went away and came back with another food menu. I felt sorry for her because it wasn't her fault she wasn't trained and couldn't ask management because they were absent. Can highly recommend Shiraz next door where we could eat

If you really want to experience the kiwiana well welcome to this lovely family. The facilities need to improved and you can tell, how hard they are working to get a genuine family business. You can't beat this location! Free parking, free WIFI, free continental breakfast. Beach and ocean views. Modern, boutique accommodation, allows you to enjoy all the comfort and surrounds. A few steps from the property and you're on the beach. Russell town center is 3 minutes drive from Sea Breeze Lodge. At night a pleasant breeze to cool you off. Spectacular views from the balconies. Enjoy the serenity of nature and the constant rhythmic sound of the waves, even when sleeping. Go out for a paddle, swim or simply relax at the beach. Two rooms are available for accommodation. One comes with an ensuite and the other has a shared bathroom. Nearby activities offered include. kayaking, Boat Cruise to Hole in the Rock, dolphin watching, swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing, boating, surfing, kayaking and sometimes surfing. We can arrange kayak/boat hire and other activities, and airport transfer from KeriKeri, ask about these.

Lovely breakfast and you made us feel very much at home. A great spot on the beach and easy drive into Russell. Loved it all and would highly recommend you to others.......hopefully we’ll be back! I agree with other reviewers. Good shuttle service but I would not stay here again
Reviewed By flynnkiwiStayed in 2 different rooms. Can only say that one was more unsanitary than the other. Kitchen was health hazard - We would not prepare food in that environment. Bathrooms in both rooms were alternately revolting, disgusting or just plain demolition material Employee John however provided a first class shuttle service. I'm sure that shuttling cyclists could be a little unstimulating, but John was engaging & enthusiastic. In a stay that was disappointing, Johns' shuttle was the highlight

Reviewed By LiketoromeSet up a hill with a super view of the Heads this B&B is a gem. Really quiet with lots of outdoor sitting areas it is very clean and the breakfast provided is plentiful, fresh and tasty. The communal lounge and breakfast areas are large and tastefully decorated and the rooms are modern and well appointed with a fridge and coffee maker. It is a short drive from town. Would recommend.

The en-suite is great with a wonderfully hot shower. Breakfast really sets you up for the day. Kathy spoils you with homemade muesli, bread and marmalade. As an extra bonus, if you like cats, you’re guaranteed cuddles from her friendly old cat!
