Has a lovely 2 night break in Goose Nest room at this gem of a find. Great Farm life, laid back and Ginny was so accommodating, friendly and nothing was a bother. The food was brilliant, great pit stop for anyone cycling/walking the Cleveland Way too. Highly recommend the butties & or the soup.

The Bailey BnB rooms are a brand new luxury addition to an existing highly successful holiday business next to the castle in the middle of Skipton, officially the happiest place in the UK and gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Both rooms are newly finished to a very high standard. The first room has an en suite bathroom whilst the second room has a private bathroom across a separate landing.
Great welcome, great room and great breakfast. Five minutes walk from centre of Skipton and they even fixed the weather for the week as well. Mark also gave us plenty of advice for cycling routes in the area so that was great as well.

I recently visited the craven heifer for a meal with my family, on entry we were greeted by a smile and then swiftly seated. I had the beef pie and it was one of the best I have ever had. The service was swift but they took time to speak to every table. They were lovely with the children on our table aswell. It is set in a beautiful area and is warm and cosy after a long walk through the dales.

I checked on booking that gluten free breakfast would be available, and again when we checked in. Unfortunately with no real apology chef told me they'd been really busy because of the food festival and she forgot to buy anything in. We found the whole experience disappointing just little things like 2 conditioners and no shampoo in the room. 2 salt pots on table and having to hunt for pepper. Table being cleared before we'd finished breakfast and just a 'thanks' when we handed the key in. We wont be paying £150 for 1 night in there again.

Did not get the room we booked when we complained we were told the room was unavailable because the elderly gent who was in the room had decided to stay an extra night. Not our problem we are an elderly couple who had paid for the room expecting to get what we had paid for. The TV in the room we were given did not work properly if you tried to change channel it switched off and you couldn't change volume so was very hard to hear anything. Will not be back customer service was non existent nobody seemed to have the authority to do anything without speaking to the owner. Anybody looking for a place to stay should look elsewhere.

My dance partner stayed here for 2 nights over Easter to attend a dance competition at the nearby Spa Ballroom. We chose this B & B for its proximity to the event we were attending and found access to the cliff ramps leading to the promenade that the Spa is situated on and the cliff lift really class and easy. The host Ces was an absolute star offering help with everything we needed during our stay, including moving many bags from our car to our spacious twin room with ensuite. The accommodation is newly decorated , fresh, clean, bright and modern. Nothing was too much trouble and we were supplied with an iron and board, extra tea bags etc. The shower was very very good, lots of hot water and power even when we arrived back late at night. The accommodation was quiet, no noisy guests, passing party people or loud traffic noise. We paid for the very reasonably priced and excellent freshly cooked breakfast which we were very glad of ahead of our long day. Thoroughly recommend a stay here if you fancy a few days on the beautiful Scarborough coast area. Parking is free on the road outside and quite residential street just opposite.

A quiet haven after dropping off your loved ones. Good breakfast, simple but good evening meals. Kind and attentive staff. Quiet location - ask for a field-facing room if you can as you get a lovely view and skylarks!
