Clean, modern, friendly staff. Would stay here again. My only suggestion is to stay on the 3rd floor if possible. It sounded like a herd of elephants were screaming and moving the furniture above us at 1 AM, which made it hard to sleep, but that's any smaller hotel.

We stayed in cabin 16 for a long weekend. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and the view was beautiful. We loved the access to use the kayaks free of charge; the owners keep the beach area super clean and free of weeds. The owners are so kind and friendly. Charlie will do anything and everything he can to make your stay as pleasant as possible and to make it right if it wasn’t. I highly recommend Hanging Horn Lodge for a family or couples getaway! We will be back again!! Thank you Charlie and team!!

At Erik's Retreat, the astonishing abilities that young adults with autism possess are celebrated. We turn these abilities into employment opportunities where this deserving population gets to share something they are passionate about with others while earning a living wage, working on their social skills, and having the dignity of living life on their terms. We encourage the entire community to support our mission by either staying with us as guests or participating on an Erik's Minnesota Adventures tour. Our purpose is to expose all that those with autism can do versus what they cannot with our moderately-priced guest rooms and tour pricing.
A “distinctive” lodging options with some downsides. The rooms are spacious and quiet. What they don’t tell you until you book the room: Parking is off-site and a block or more away. Not an ideal situation for seniors with mobility issues. There is no microwave. No ice. TV is not cable, so be prepared for local broadcasts and limited options. No towel bars. Not a single one. Toilet paper felt like crepe paper, only thinner. Lodging is in the MSP flight path, and the windows and exterior walls are not insulated against noise. There are odor eliminators placed in strategic locations in the room, presumably to eliminate objectionable odors…from what, who knows? ( It was once an assisted living facility.) The HVAC is very, very poor. Other than that? Not bad. Don't let the room size fool you. We will not be staying again.

More like a mini cabin than just a room. This is a definite "5". Everything you could possibly want, friendly owners, a wonderful coffee shop on-site, across the street from the beach Zorbaz down the road. I have done ALOT of traveling and have never rated this high before- they deserve it! Oh, and did I mention the room was pristine? I have never been in a cleaner room. Thanks, Tim & Clarice

I booked a jacuzzi suite with Booking.com, when we got there the woman Brandy put us in a random room with no jacuzzi, and when i came back down to tell her it was just wrong room, she just shrugged her shoulders and said it was marked wrong and they don't have any jacuzzis available. It was my partner's birthday and i felt horrible. Brandy did not offer an apology, a solution, or any accommodations, we were just told we can leave or pay for this room. Also I still have not gotten my refund from this hotel for the room we DID NOT stay in. Also, when we got to this hotel, there was garbage and broken furniture blocking the entrance, and took 15 minutes to even find a front desk person. So unprofessional, and just not a good hotel. Consider upgrading to Amercinn By Wyndham it was much better and nicer.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AS OF NOVEMBER 2019!! Relaxing fishing and family resort located on beautiful Lake Kabetogama, MN. in Voyageurs National Park. Nine modern, clean housekeeping cabins with one, two, three and six bedrooms, all with spectacular views overlooking the lake. Great fishing, boating, swimming (sand beach), hiking, birding and much more! Beach, docks, boat rentals, canoes, kayaks, SUP's, hydrobikes, playground, laundry facilities, wi-fi. Sales of bait, premium gasoline, ice and firewood.
We stayed here 3 nights in May to see Voyageur’s National Park. Our cabin was perfect! We were right on the lake with great views. The owners were very nice and friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. There was flooding on the lake due to ice melt and rain, and they were very helpful to the boaters, since their dock was under water. We would definitely stay here again.

We have beautiful 2, 3 and 4 bedroom cabins, ALL with a lakeside screen porch and several with fireplaces. We are located north of the Park Rapids (known for its cute downtown) and also just 12 minutes south of the Mississippi Headwaters, at Itasca State Park! We believe in the cozy, comfortable, beautiful, inspiring, and serene setting of being in the trees, near the water, and watching all the wildlife. Our cute cabins are situated on 1000 feet of level lakeshore, each one just feet from the water's edge. We face west, so enjoy a beautiful sunset every single night! Our grounds are spacious and private, and our swimming beach offers plenty of quality water toys, paddle boards, water trampoline/slide, and a climbing wall to entertain your kids. Four sizes of boats are available for rent, two pontoons, or if you bring your own boat dock space is always FREE!
Our second trip to Two Inlets this year and we have booked two trips for 2022. We love that they are located on the east side of the lake so we got to enjoy the sunsets. Nature abound with eagles, swans, loons, and otters observed. Wild turkey and deer are in the area also, James and Kayla and their kids are outstanding hosts and caretakers of the resort. KEEP UP THE ECSELLANT WORK.
