It is a quite good hotel, 1 block away from el Rodadero beach at Santa Marta. We spent 1 night, and had such a good service!! Rooms are very clean, bathrooms in excellent condition, and air conditioned service. I recomend it if you want to spend some days in Santa Marta.

I was traveling for a half year and this was exact the best place for the last 3 nights to explore minca, relax and reflect my journeys. Maybe the best place I stayed in on my whole traveling and I haven’t been in low budget.Really calm&peace pl.

If you're after a place near the airport for a quick stop in SantaMarta and be out of the chaos and close to nature, this is the perfect place for you. From the house u have an ocean view at the front and the mountains of Sierra Nevada at the back and its beautiful sunsets. The room counts with a private entrance, here you will find tranquility, comfy beds, clean linens, air conditioning, & your own private bathroom in the room. There are pets in the property Travellers Welcome!
Wonderful family atmosphere from the very moment you cross the gate. Family who runs this hotel is very welcoming, caring, open and will make you feel like a family member, not a hotel guest. Doing an extra mile in every service they provide, including room, exquisite cleanness, providing food service (I should mention that owner is a genuine Italian chef! so prepare for a break from usual Colombian food and brace yourself for great pasta and pizza!), or just having a pleasant conversation on a porch. I didn't feel like a hotel guest, more like visiting relatives in other country, really. And to mention usual stuff for hotel review - rooms are comfortable, cleanness is extraordinary, all facilities provided. Location is great for me - out of a hustle and bustle of Santa Marta, but within a short taxi ride. Neighborhood, although at first glance does not look inviting, is quiet and safe. Thank you Roxy (and your family of course) for this wonderful experience, it was a pleasure to stay with you!

Casa Dmer is a fantastic stay option with all comforts you would need for an enjoyable stay. Theres a little pool and amazing, beautifully created balcony space to chill. Wilmar is an excellent host and gives full attention to details for the comfort of the guest, sharing helpful tips on best places and food to explore nearby. All in all an excellent choice. We really enjoyed the hospitality of Casa Dmer and Wilmar. Thanks so much!

Blue Mango Beach Hotel is a full service boutique hotel in Guachaca only 1 hour drive from Santa Marta. Featuring large and comfortable private rooms as well as a massive swimming pool and full service bar and restaurant, put your feet up and relax to the sound of the Caribbean waves.
The hotel was perfect for a mini get away with the family. The staff were very friendly. Specially Jr & Alejandra who worked at the bar. It’s a little bit hidden and getting to the hotel from the highway can be a bit tricky if it’s rained but that short journey makes for the reveal of seeing the hotel for the first time worth it. It’s the perfect place to relax and disconnect. I’d you’re looking to arrange tours ask for Camilo. He’s a local operator and very professional

We went here for lunch recently on our way up to El Dorado. It's a really lovely spot on the edge of Minca with a beautiful terrace where we ate - although my husband couldn't sit still, due to the profuseness of the hummingbirds which he photographed many times. Staff were very accommodating - we had pre-ordered due to time limitation and our pasta lunch was served very quickly.

Tropical paradise! As we approached the hostal, we didn't expect it to be so awesome, it's situated next to the main road, but as we ventured in, we were astonished on how beautiful and organized the hostal was ran. The owner is very hands on, meaning she was always making sure the hostal was maintained at a high standard! The room was exceptionally clean, and modernized to meet our needs. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We wanted to get away from Palomino because of the influx of tourists, and found Hostal Monte verde - a great find! P.s, we miss their stunning dog, a cute chocolate labrador puppie! "Choco" P.s, this is the middle of the jungle, so expect and appreciate the wilderness!

You are invited to enjoy a new lodging in Santa Marta, Casa Etnia, a traditional house in a neighborhood called Bavaria, refurnished into a small guest house, where you can have quiet and relaxing days!
To sum up, the staff are absolutely incredible and the most helpful bunch you'll find anywhere. The manager/owner equally as fantastic. A super special thank you to Randy at reception, totally bada** guy while being the nicest & most helpful person you'll find and, the manager/owner whose name I have now forgotten :( I will never forget what they did for me (see below), and when I return to Cali, I will stay at no other place but Tiki Hut, simply because I know these people are honest to the bone and will always have my back. Long story short. Chose to head here without a reservation in my last week of travelling South America after 1.5 years away. Took a shared taxi from the airport to realise that I forgot my small (10L) backpack with all my valuables inside the taxi. Credit Cards, ID, iPad, GoPro5, bunch of Cash and, my external hard drive with all the footage for the last year and a half. I considered it all lost. I was left with 45,000 pesos in my pocket. The police didn't help much (this time - though they were super helpful in Cali when I lost my phone). The staff and manager (the manager from his home at midnight in constant phone contact with staff & people around the city) did everything they could by going totally out of their way in an incredible effort to find out who the taxi driver was that brought me from the airport. Miraculously, the manager somehow managed to track down the taxi using his city-wide connections, for the cabbie to show up at 7.30am with my backpack untouched with everything inside. I cannot say thank you enough!! Un million de gracias de la profundidad de mi corazon, ya desde Inglaterra. Espero que nos vemos pronto de nueve cuando llegare a SM! Besos y brazos infinitos!

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Kankui Hostal is located in El Zaino. This property is 28 km from Santa Marta. There is free private parking. The accommodation features a flat-screen TV. Some units include a terrace and / or balcony. They also have a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Towels are offered. In the area you can enjoy various activities, such as hiking and horse rid
