The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk as well as free WiFi. Guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with a kettle. The private bathroom is fitted with a hair dryer. The rooms feature a wardrobe.
We are staying here for 6 days in total, what a fab place. The rooms are clean, bedding and towels are always fresh and changed regularly. Air con works well and always hot water for showers. Breakfast is lovely, fresh fruit and a choice of hot food. Staff are friendly and so helpful. Frudge in room helps. Location is off a side road. It is at most a 10 min walk from the market, river and restaurants. No views from rooms but a quiet road. Great value too approx £15 a room. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very well located close to the center of Luang Prabang, some rooms even have a view at the river Kam. The staff is very friendly and helpful, every afternoon guests get a fresh fruit juice. The included breakfast is good as well and offers many options. There‘s construction next door, the workers start at 8 a.m and finish working at 5 p.m. But this should be over soon. All in all: great and affordable choice in Luang Prabang.

Located a 2-minute walk to Mekong river front, Silikhane Guest house offers Breakfast free Wi-Fi throughout the property. A 3-minute stroll takes guests to Night Market. Phonsai market is a 5-minute walk away, while it takes 15 minutes to drive to Luang Prabang Airport. Featuring wooden flooring, each air-conditioned room is equipped with a TV and private bathroom with shower facilities.
The room is big enough, the bathroom is clean (also not that beautiful, but who cares). There is an ac, free bottled water on the room and free drinking water/tea/coffee at the reception. Also the staff/owner speaks quite good English and is willing to help on every issue. Only thing is, the communication isn’t really fast. We asked 24h before we arrived at the airport if we can get a pick up, but didn’t get an answer until we checked out the morning after we arrived. Beside this, the guesthouse offers everything u need for your stay in Luang Prabang!

Had to change hotels last minute so did a walk in and got an upstairs room (I thought they would be much quieter than downstairs). The rooms are really spacious with plenty of surfaces to put away things and hang clothes. Super hot shower (maybe the water pressure could be better). Breakfast is your standard eggs and baguette or pancake, juice and instant coffee, Lipton or green tea. I wouldn’t call it wonderful and wish they had at least two traditional Lao breakfast options. Owner was nice but not overly friendly but that didn’t bother me. They provide water and clean towels every day. There was an AC but it was so cold at night you didn’t need it. I would suggest the owners place an extra blanket. There were also some mosquitoes in the room every night. My biggest complaint as mentioned by multiple reviewers were the damn roosters. They crowed during the day and starting at 5am! Sometimes they’d shut up. There are several right behind the property. But I knew this ahead of time so I can’t really complain about it.

The balcony with the hammocks has the best view on the river and the town, especially enjoyable by sundown with a cold beer. Clean cozy spacious room. Nice lady renting the rooms. Furniture simple but adequate to the location.

Nice clean large rooms Amazing hot showers Commonly only one person knows what they are doing and can converse in English - so we had to wait a while to check in on both occasions (stayed twice) A welcome fruit juice and plate of fruit on arrival :) Away from the Main Street but only a short walk away and close to the hill, market, river - all walking distance Breakfast ok - the usual - eggs and bread.

All went well until we had an issue with our booking and had to reshuffle/change some things later on. At this point, the owner, Gabriel, became very unfriendly and was pretty clear about only being interested in money. Left a sour aftertaste in an otherwise friendly country. Given the steep prices and unwelcoming attitude, we won't stay here again on the next trip.
