Lisbon is a dreamy destination for any traveler. The Portuguese capital's cultural and artistic diversity, its exhilarating and varied nightlife, the breathtaking viewpoints and its proximity to some of the most spectacular beaches and coastlines make it a top destination in the world. Lisbon offers VIP treatment for a fraction of the cost of most other major European cities. A secular city with plenty of history and traditions to offer, Lisbon also has a great variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, parks and vistas to relax and enjoy the city like a true local.

Large room with living room and bathroom on the fifth floor, convenient to the breakfast room. Quite clean and tidy hotel. Great choice and plenty for breakfast, but no jam or marmelade. Staff available but with little attention to the customer. Sore point a bad sewer smell coming from the bathroom drains for the duration of the stay. Problem reported but not resolved.

With free Wi-Fi, Chiado44 is in Lisbon, Chiado. This property is situated within walking distance of attractions such as Bairro Alto and Rossio. Located in the Misericórdia neighborhood, the guesthouse is 700 meters from the Dona Maria II National Theater. Avenida da Liberdade is 1.3 km from Chiado44, while Amoreiras is 2.1 km away. The nearest airport is Humberto Delgado Airport, in Lisbon, 7 km from the property. Cais Sodré is 300 meters away, where you can go by train to Cascais
Chiado 44 was absolutely perfect! The location is hard to beat with restaurants and trollies nearby, and the staff was some of the best we've ever encountered. Sara, Morvan, Isabella and others made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in until the minute we left. We were given restaurant recommendations, a restaurant reservation and other helpful tips along the way. Our room was clean and bright with a gorgeous view, but also incredibly dark and quiet once we closed the windows and curtains. We highly recommend Chiado 44!

Featuring a bar and free WiFi, FS Boutique Downtown features accommodation attractively situated in Lisbon, within a short distance of Rossio, Dona Maria II National Theatre and St. George's Castle. All units here are air-conditioned and feature a flat-screen TV, a living room with a sofa, a well-equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom with shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries.

I liked The Original Lisbon Guesthouse very, very much! The location in the middle of the city centre and close to the river is perfect, one is very well connected. The house is in a typical old Lisbon townhouse and The Original is on the upper floors above a hotel. Admittedly, the rooms are partly in need of renovation, but that does not bother much. It was very clean and tidy and the interior very harmonious. Our room had the most beautiful view and despite of the cold January wind, it did not get too cold thanks to a small heating. I generally felt very comfortable, which is mainly due to the very friendly, helpful and passionate staff. Apparently the guesthouse is a project among some friends and this commitment and enthusiasm could really be felt in the service. Wagner (one of our hosts) welcomed us personally, guided us through the rooms, explained everything very patiently and had some tips for us. He also offered a WhatsApp-Service outside of the regular opening hours, in case we would need help with anything. After several trips to Portugal I have to say that I liked this accommodation by far the best. The kitchen was simple but sufficiently equipped and it was always very clean.

I stayed here for one night while in Lisbon. This place is located near Rossio square with many places to eat and drink nearby. The staff was friendly. My room was clean a simple. It was nothing special and got the job done. For the price, I would stay here again.

The location is perfect, the hotel is also really nice its clean. Check in and check out is easy. The will help you to find a taxi or they will tell you where to go in Lisbon. The location is in the old part of Lisbon and very close to everything. There you have also cosy streets.

The Spirit of Art apartment is a great place to be ! We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very well located in the Alfama district, near Santa Appolonia station. The apartment is bright, there are 2 rooms, one big kitchen, one big family room and one bathroom. There is a balcony. Decoration is all about art pieces. The owner Joao is very nice and helpful. It was very calm, no noise during our stay in September.

The biggest issue was being listed as having a shared kitchen but no mention that there were no actual cooking facilities available. Made worse by a weekend check-in after all the shops had shut. So both adults had to go hungry. As a family with a young child on a very tight budget during a pandemic cooking was essential. Luckily the owner was nice enough to refund us the remaining nights left on our reservation. However the room itself was not clean. There was mould all around the window sill, and down the wall behind the bed.(part picture included, unfortunately I could not move the bed in order to properly picture the mould covering the wall behind it) My toddler even found SOMEONE ELSE'S SHOE under the bed along with food wrappers. The bathrooms were not kept clean nor were they best upkept. In the middle of a pandemic this is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Even the wifi was fading in and out from working. The owner then went as far to declare on booking.com that we never arrived so that we were unable to leave a review.
