Amazing 5-Star-Worthy Hotel
Reviewed By kikoma72Loved the take-away breakfast, its quality and variety within pandemic conditions. Staff exceeded our expectations by providing requested flowers and earlier breakfast than usual upon request. The art gallery brings the hotel to a whole new level of five-star hotels in Liepaja, Latvia. The ROMA bakery (and hence the breakfast goodies) were absolutely marvelous - excellent quality pastries, cakes and pies - highly recommended. Very spacious rooms because of the high ceilings, as the building was constructed back in the 19th century.

Nice place to stay for business travellers
Reviewed By Ivar TI recently stayed at Porto Resort for nearly two weeks and I enjoyed my stay. It is no way fancy but decent food and lodging. Breakfast was same every day and I missed my oat meal, but there was all I needed. Dinner was also very good and I did enjoy every meal. The room was fine and suitable for a business traveler not not asking for fancy stuff. The only minus I found was that it would take 1½ hour to heat the sauna. As I did not know what time I would be home I did not want to ask the hotel to heat it prior to my expected return.

Reviewed By DannyPickeringThought the place was brilliant. From start to finish we were looked after by the friendly staff. They picked us up from airport helped us arrange everything for the stag do, and would drop us wherever we wanted in the city at whatever time. Bar downstairs was 24/7 and in the morning served a free continental breakfast. Also made use of the plunge pool and Turkish sauna on most morning tops shake the hangovers. Rooms were basic but well kept. Overall very Impressed with the place and the area. Would definitely come back again, it's definitely a stag hotel. And the staff helped make our weekend what it was.

Winter wonderland
Reviewed By irina73aceThis place is amazing. My fiancee and I stayed here for one night and we were lucky that there was a lot of snow, which made the place look amazing. There are two tree houses with views to the lake. It's all very nicely built and decorated and super clean. You don't feel you're in a tree house unless it's a bit windy. Then you get a bit of movement in the house, but not much. The bathroom is located in the main cabin on the ground, but not too far from the tree houses. The hosts are great. They ensured we had everything we needed. They even lent us a pair of skates so we can skate on the frozen lake. The tree house is easily accessible from Cesis. We would totally recommend visiting this place.

Тихое, приятное место в старинном парке
Reviewed By GemeraОчень приветливый персонал, чистые номера, красивый старинный парк вокруг. Нам предложлили баньку и предоставили мангал с дровами. Есть беседка и столы на улице - если хорошая погода, то там можно обедать. В гостевом доме хорошо оборудованная кухня с плитой, микроволновкой, холодильником, много различной посуды на большую компанию. Есть кофе, сахар, чай. Буквально в двух шагах Лузнавская усадьба - гулять одно удовольствие. Нам всё очень понравилось, обязательно вернёмся снова.

Reviewed By Chevalier1000По работе пришлось заночевать в Вентспилсе. Было забронировано место в этом гостевом доме.Расположен он в частном секторе. Довольно тихом. Утром побудку, где то невдалеке кричали петухи. Нам дали двухэтажный номер. Первый этаж - кухонька, санузел. Второй - спальня. Очень компактно и уютно. Если останавливаться семьей из трёх человек, то есть где расположиться ребёнку и взрослым. На кухне есть микроволновка, холодильник, мультиварка, чайник и кофе с сахаром. есть посуда и столовые приборы. На территории очень живописные лужайки, прудик с лилией и рыбками, качели, спортивные снаряды, офуро. Перед входом в апартаменты столик со стульчиками. Можно посидеть, пофилосовствовать, глядя на звёздное небо. Рядом небольшой мангальчик для любителей что то варганить на огне. И судя по запахам, доносившимся от других номеров, такие мангалы возле каждого номера. Очень хороший гостевой дом, по соотношению цена-комфорт!

Островок старины со всеми удобствами
Reviewed By Natalija PОтель расположен в самом центре города, на ратушной площади, но не смотря на это место очень тихое. До променада 4 минуты пешком, рядом рынок, кафе, магазины и все достопримечательности, до моря 5 минут на машине, стоянок много и все бесплатные. Апартаменты оборудованы всем необходимым, есть кондиционер, кухня (есть посуда, кофе, чай, сахар, моющие средства), большой обеденный стол, телевидение с большим количеством каналов, очень удобная широкая кровать с одним матрасом!!! Добротная мебель удачно дополнена предметами старины. Во дворе бесплатная охраняемая стоянка. Отдельно хочется отметить хозяев, очень приятные люди, как будто приехал в гости к друзьям.

Just average for me
Reviewed By Sappers62My room was fairly small with no real desk, small table but not a desk. Also no bedside table or drawers next to bed - thought that was a little odd. Bed was OK but sheet didn’t fit. Hard to open the window due to height. Bathroom fine, good shower. Breakfast is served in the art centres cafe, again very average. Had to ask if we could get something cooked, just cold fare left out and no menu in sight. Disappointingly the bar closes at 2200, again in the cafe. Didn’t get back to hotel until 2145 and staff were rather grumpy and initially refused to serve me, they did when I pointed out the time. Very handy for the art center I guess, apart from that, rather average.

Great clean place for family
Reviewed By tomakaminClean, big rooms, very big playroom for kids indoors and some equipment for kids outdoors, very quiet rooms, good for families. It could have more food at breakfast time. Many places to sit outdoors. But it's a place we would love to come back!
