In Ensenada, only 80 miles south of San Diego, travelers can get a taste of Mexican food, culture and nightlife. Californians flock to this beautiful seaport town, one of the largest on the Baja peninsula, for rest, relaxation and excellent outdoor recreation activities. From surfing and sea kayaking to horseback riding and mountain biking, even the most discerning sportsperson will be impressed. Ensenada's nightlife is also a big draw. Papas and Beer and Hussong's Cantina serve up an on-going party atmosphere and lots of tequila, while nearby vineyards offer wine tasting in a more traditional and serene setting. Nature enthusiasts are wowed by the sight of gray whales and the underwater cave that randomly squirts water at onlookers. Whatever your interests, enchanting Ensenada will not disappoint.

We spend one night at this place and was not what we expected. The only enjoyable thing was the swimming pool. Very hard bed, the pillows were very small and all clumpy. The room was small no closet, no courtesy water bottles. Breakfast was chips with some sauces and scramble eggs, some fruit. We stayed at different hotels less expensive and better. Price was too high.

The room wasn’t bad and they did have nice security watching our stuff at night but here’s what is lacking. The service and the restaurant is horrible. We sat there for 30 minutes trying to get lunch before we left I got up 3 Times to let the waitress know that we wanted to order some food I got up and got our own drinks but then after waiting for so long we decided we would go next-door to eat and asked for a late check out. We were told no. I then explained the service we just received at the restaurant and the reason why but we were still told no. They have a coffee maker in the room but no coffee cups. No glasses in the bathroom to brush your teeth. And there is a God awful sewer smell.

Last minute stay at Kpricho, recently opened boutique hotel, owners on site and very attentive to all our needs, Covid slowed their growth but a great job, the room was very nice and the bed amazing. We will return when we head back to Valle de Guadalupe
