I only found two minsu when searching for accommodations within walking distance to Sanxiantai. Decided on Koca as it has a room with four single beds. I booked through booking.com but didn't receive any email from the owner despite the email from booking.com stating so. I tried to contact the owner through facebook messenger but also didn't get any response. Luckily, I told the driver whom I engaged for the 3D2N drive from Kenting to Taipei and he called the owner to confirm my reservation. The driver also did a tour around the town and told me that there should be four minsu in the area. The minsu next to Koca didn't appear as accommodation on google map and wasn't open on the day we went. We arrived in the evening in the rain. There is no shops/eatery around Koca so we had dinner before we arrived. Koca is a small two-storey blue building. We were the only guests that night. Our 4-bed room is on second floor while the driver booked a single room on the first floor. Stairs are a bit steep for my elderlies especially when it doesn't have railings. The driver helped to carry our luggage upstairs. The room is spacious, so is the bathroom. There is also a balcony which faces Sanxiantai's arches. Room has basic necessity, slippers, hair dryer, aircon and fan. Lots of hangers. Bottled waters are also provided. The owner asked us what time we want our breakfast when we checked in. Our breakfast comprised soy milk (owner's formula with various grains and beans, quite tasty) and spinach-based spring onion pancakes (very tasty). We wanted to walk to Sanxiantai before we leave but it started to rain. We did a short walk around the small town. Lots of friendly elderlies in that town.
