Nestled in the pristine rainforest, each of our cabanas is designed to give you a comfortable jungle experience. Each cabana can fit up to four guests comfortably; we also have a family cabana which can fit 6 guests & has 2 bedrooms. We also cater for groups on a budget with our two group cabanas which have bunk beds and hold up to 24 people. All cabanas have en suite bathrooms and hot water.

It has a beautiful environment, nature hikes, a creek to swim and tube in, yoga platform, hammocks, is in the jungle, you can see so many stars at night, wake up to the birds and fall asleep to the sounds of the night animals. Fresh air all the time. The staff are the kindest sweetest hearted people. The food is delicious. Comfy beds, warm showers. It’s central to many national parks and adventures. And they have a shuttle. I’ve stayed here solo, as a couple and with family and friends for special events. Each time is unique and special. What’s amazing is that they also support Belizean children get an education to help break the poverty cycle. My family, friends and I highly recommend this place. Reviewed By K EWe stayed at Ibagari from 4/22/22 -4/29/22 and added an extra day because our experience was fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful but the staff was absolutely amazing. I can not say enough great things about the staff specifically Sol Velasquez, Ana Moreno, Daniel Galindo, Eduardo Herrera, Jessy Campbell, Victor Palacios ,Ruth Aguilar, lisandro Pacheco and Henry our taxi driver..they made everything so special for us that they became like family to us. I must say they were all incredible throughout the entire stay. I cannot wait to go back ? Ibagari is the best of the best . Absolute Paradise .

Reviewed By CatherineBHEnjoyed our 6 night stay. Our 1 bdrm suite was elegantly furnished and spacious. It had a full kitchen. We love our patio with the oceanview. The only problem is the sargussum smell which is a big problem for many Carribean islands and coasts. It is not solely the problem of Caye Casa. Jake, Justin, and the rest of the staff were friendly. It is in a nice location close to bars, restaurants, and supermarkets yet quiet at night.

It is the perfect hotel to relax and I honestly just didn't want to leave whilst usually we are only at the hotel for some sleep. We relaxed, watched the ocean waves, we went inside a private cave, we had excellent and fresh food which was just perfect. There was a wifi box on the ceiling of our villa so internet was good. And the service, oh gosh, just mind blowing. They surprised us with their warm hearts, made us feel at ease, we never had to worry about anything. They went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. The villas are more spacious than it appears to be on the photo, the bathroom too! Shower is excellent, bedding is good and balcony is huge with a priceless calm view over the ocean. And! They have the luxury of owning a private sand beach. Swimming pool with beautiful (i believe infinity) view over the ocean and I even saw some wildlife animals walking around and climbing into trees which were just cherries on top of the cake. I'm already homesick to this resort. Thank you a million times Rosa and your team (who were like family).

Reviewed By mmayhemmThe rooms are clean and the place seems very safe, the owners/staff are really nice people. On some booking portals, this place is listed as 4* equivalent accomodation, which is wrong. It's a B&B, the rooms are basic and without aircon, bathroom looks nice and clean. What is actually lacking is some sort of space to put your stuff, being it in the main room or in the bathroom. Again, clean and basic B&B, reasonably priced.

A Great Property Mid-Peninsula with Fine Dining and Friendly Staff
Reviewed By CaptainMattVIA gorgeous property about halfway down the peninsula. The decor of the "Great House" is quintessential Belizean, with hardwoods and open air. The room was clean and the staff very hospitable. Alfresco dining in the courtyard under the cashew trees at night was fabulous. We found the food to be worthy of any fine dining restaurant stateside.

Awesome Dive Vacation!
Reviewed By Storyteller769342Wonderful little place with everything you need - diving, restaurant, laundry etc. Joesph, the dive master, is awesome. Cannot recommend him enough! The night dive and shark dive were certainly highlights! Joesph is a great teacher - he got my boyfriend certified in Open Water and Open Water Advanced in a week. Located close to the sloth hangout and across the way from a grocery store. All the staff were kind, attentive and accommodating. Great wraparound porch at the club for relaxing and reading a book in the sun.

Evergreen is located in the northeastern corner of Tortuguero, 5 minutes by boat from the main entrance to Tortuguero National Park, and accessible only by air and water. Evergreen Lodge is the ideal location from which to explore this unique and magical area, surrounded by towering trees and exuberant vegetation and are adorned with tropical designs. This lovely lodge has 66 comfortable rooms, all are spacious, with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, hot water, and ceiling fans, swimming pool. The property has an excellent restaurant and bar services and offer bilingual guided tours in the area. The beautiful main dinning room with soaring ceilings provides first class meals in an atmosphere that reflects and compliments the jungle paradise surrounding it.
Unfortunate Experience!!
Reviewed By D4699QIannemWe stayed at this Rainforest Resort as part of a tour. We liked the setting of the resort and the only access by boat, but there were many things we didn't care about. The lack of glass window that contributed to a lot of noise from the neighboring cabins, by the pool and bar. Also the howling monkeys, but that was to be expected and didn't bother us as much as the people and music noise late into the night. The food service contributed to several of our tour group getting sick, which wasn't a good experience while on vacation. Our room was cleaned while we were out, which we hadn't expected so we didn't put things away before we went out. We discovered later that evening that a 7 day container of everyday medicine was missing, which was mostly vitamins and one RX drug. This we felt was inexcusable by the cleaning staff. My rating is based on an organized tour stay, so some parts of the review I can't answer as it didn't apply to our stay.

We have many nature trails including along a mile of exclusive river frontage with excellent Trout fishing, bird watching and pure natural beauty.
Best Part of Our Trip to Costa Rica

If you want a peaceful place to be surrounded by nature, to bird watch, or to just relax and get away from the world, Quetzal Valley Cabins are a paradise. You really are in the heart of the forest, and the views from the windows are incredible. You can see so many different species of birds just whilst sitting and having your breakfast. There are some nice little trails on the property as well as access to other trails in the area, and San Gerardo de Dota is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been. The cabins are beautifully rustic and the kitchen was well equipped with the shop just up the (very steep) road. The wood burning stove makes the cabin cosy in the cold evenings, and it is such a relaxing place to be. All in all, we had a perfect stay for the four nights we were here - Peter, the owner, was very helpful with advice and tips, and really made us feel welcome. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely be back if possible in the future!

Great little hotel!
Reviewed By robiel541This place is great! Everything is newly remodeled and the grounds are kept so clean and pristine. There are only 14 or so rooms, so even at max capacity there are not very many people here at all. The room is on the smaller side, but really plenty big for 2 people. There are multiple shelves and one huge long table to put your luggage and spread out. I read one review that there is hardly space for luggage for 2 people and I entirely disagree. The bed is super comfortable, the best we’ve had on this trip having stayed in 4 other locations. The staff has been great. The restaurant staff is very friendly and polite. No, most of them do not speak perfect English, but guess what, this is Costa Rica! It’s so frustrating to see reviewers complain about staff in a different country not speaking English. Regardless of the language barrier, these folks did their job and they did it well. Food was great too! Really great outdoor seating and relaxing areas and furniture both poolside and beachside. I would highly recommend this place!
