My husband soent two nights in this hostal. The room was large and clean. The lady owner of the hostal was very pleasant and obliging. The hostal is just a short walk from the centre and nearby there are shops and restaurants. We would return.

Stayed with my family in a nice rustic room, with beams. The room was well maintained with basic facilities. The only downside was that the room had no air con. Good customer service centred around meeting clients needs.

Spent a week in Santander and stayed in Hostal La Torre which has a good location. This place is close to the beach, has a good restaurant very close and has a reasonable price. Had a very small room with a bathroom but it was very clean and our host brought new clean towels and bed sheet every day! As I said the room was small but clean and I found it good for people who spend their holiday by walking in the city, travelling and only going back to the hostel for sleep. Hosts doesn’t speak English but they are really helpful and kind ?.

El Montero is an excellent hotel with amazing service. The people running the hotel make you feel at home. Great atmosphere in the bar at night with pool table and board games. Clean modern updated rooms, great food and a wonderful and very complete breakfast. The best of this hotel is the personal service with a smile from the wonderful owners. You really feel welcome and at home. We had an absolutely great time and will come back for sure.

We give the warmest welcome to La Casona de Rudaguera. Located in a small and quiet village on the west coast of Cantabria, San Pedro de Rudaguera is undoubtedly the best option for relaxation and rest, the enclave in which the village is located is privileged, is located in a small valley Which forms the river saja.
A twisty drive from the A8 brings you to a solid stone-built period house with a large garden in a sleepy village by a narrow-gauge railway. Your host is effusive and genuinely pleased to see you, and immediately puts you at your ease. The interior of the building is dark and cool, and the decor has a literary theme. Shabby chic might best describe the knick-knacks and furniture throughout. The beds were on the soft side, the breakfast copious and delicious. The garden is a very pleasant place to sit and sip an evening drink or two. We loved our brief stay and will try to return one day.

We are a familiy of five, the youngest 17 y.o., and we were looking for a place to have lunch very late (it was around 16:30, very late even for Spanish standards). We found this wonderful place, the waiter was very friendly. We were admitted for lunch, and three of us ordered the superb "Cocido Liebanes". It was really tasty and very good, and there was a bunch of food. We are good eaters, but we were not able to finish what was served. The two other members of the family also really enjoyed their meals. (We are a Spanish family, and from our point of view they were really firendly and familiar).
