Sunny Cancun has much more to offer than its party-town reputation might suggest. Plenty of gorgeous, drama-free family resorts cater to folks who want to experience the tropical Yucatan climate. There are significant Mayan ruins here, such as El Rey and the Yamil Lu’um, a crumbling tower of pale gray stone. Learn more about this ancient civilization at the Museo Maya de Cancun. For a literal taste of Mexico, take a tour of the Museo Sensorial del Tequila.

The best bed and breakfast the hosts are just absolutely amazing. They take care of us from the minutes we arrived at the airport until the next day when we have to go back to airport. Dinner and breakfast was amazing. Thank you Yuri and Nathan definitely come back to this spot next time.

Kabah Boutique Hotel is located in downtown Cancun, just in front of Kabah UrbanPark, where you can do sports activities such as cycling, hiking, running around and enjoying a breathtaking 360° view from our magnificent roof terrace. Enjoy our breakfast included by booking directly at the hotel.
Perfect hotel to stay in after a long flight. Super slick & clean. Staff really friendly. Speak english (& do not laugh at my attempted spanish) The complimentary drinks in mini fridge nice touch after a long flight. Lovely little jucuzzi on roof, perfect for chilling. (The bar wasnt open up there not sure if this is because of covid but think when it is open would be nice little vibe up there) Tasty breakfast, although not a huge choice. I had fruit, juice, omelette & coffee …..perfect for me but other may prefer more. The only negative really, is i wouldnt exact call this downtown cancun, its more a suburb ……but it has a huge supermarket next door & is next to a lovely park & a few restaurants around. It really is just a perfect place to stay if you have a late flight & need to rest up

Great B&B in downtown Cancun amazing location!
BEWARE!!! I booked a stay at Pecari 10 months ago, confirmed via Facebook, got confirmation back from Pecari, checked in upon arrival, paid, and then was told they had actually rented our room to someone else! I was told they had not received confirmation from us for the stay. I showed the owner the Facebook message he had sent me confirming the appointment 10 months ago. Unbelievable bad experience. We ended up in a nearby park scrambling to find another place to stay for three days when we thought our anniversary stay was planned and confirmed nearly a year in advance! Do you really want to book here and take a chance that upon arrival you actually won't have a place to stay?

Me and my husband couldn’t get on the flight back home to London from Cancun airport so thank god we found this little gem for one night! I was so proud of my husband for booking such a nice clean beautiful room for one night for so cheap! Approximately £20 for one night. It’s a beautiful villa in the ‘Aqua residences’ which on entry is guarded by security, therefore only residents are allowed to enter the compound, so felt very safe. The couple (owners) were extremely welcoming on arrival and even allowed us to check out late the next day, seeing that our flight was in the evening. I would recommend this place for a short stay only - one or two nights - as it’s not on beachfront and not a hotel, more like an Airbnb, but it was perfect for our stay as we didn’t make the flight and had to find something quick. I would definitely stay here again, if ever I was in the same situation. If you call their number they could even collect and drop you to airport for cheap, unlike the $70 we paid for a 10 min ride return with an airport taxi!

Very disappointed. Chose the hotel based on good Trip advisor reviews, but a group of young partiers showed up and took over the pool. They set up a DJ and professional sound system and blasted club music from 2 pm to 6 am, then restarted at 9. Hotel staff did nothing but feed them beer. So loud we heard it in out room with the doors closed. Rooms was clean and beds were comfortable like the reviews, but a sleepless night. Facilities are run down. Someone does their laundry on the roof above your room. Flies in the breakfast room, bug zapper in your hotel room. "Ocean front" has no view of the ocean. Wifi only in the unfair conditioned lobby. Pool has crabs in it and a slight green color. Stay here if you want to relive your college years. Stay at the Bon Jesus Hotel 500m down the road, instead. They understand customer service.

Recently spent a lovely week at the Krystal with 7 other girlfriends. There was something of interest to do for all of us. What was particularly nice, were the staff. Very attentive and absolutely did not hesitate to go the extra mile. Lucero was amazing! It really makes a difference when you are pampered and meant to feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend a stay here! You won't be disappointed.
