L'hotel des Tonneliers is in a very central location, 200 metres from Strasbourg Cathedral and 2km from Strasbourg Train Station. It offers free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a toilet and a bath or a shower. They also include a flat-screen TV and a telephone. Buffet breakfast can be enjoy every morning in the restaurant.
Stayed here for 2 nights in July. Hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, 5 mins walking to the Notre Dame of Strasbourg, and about 10 minutes to Petit France. The street, with the same name as the hotel, is full with restaurants and terraces. Very nice ambiance in the evening. They provide underground parking close by for €18 per night, reserve in advance! The room itself was very outdated, small bed, only 1 plug to charge, the tap was too small for the sink we could barely wash our hands, showerhead cannot stay in place, and you still see the holes where the previous shower cabin was fixed on the wall. Most terrible was the noise, we slept on the 1st floor, with the sunny weather the terrace of the restaurant below was full both nights, with the stone hallway this was echoed throughout the building. Secondly there was a buzzing noise every 5 minutes that we couldn’t place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we hope they renovate the rooms soon.

5 guestrooms at Clemence ! This lady is the perfect host you can desire. She will make you feel like at home, with top quality rooms and bathrooms. OOutside is a very attractive designed place for rest in the openair, with dining place, jacuzzi and fireplace. If CLemence accomodates a dinner for you, you will enjoy good company and homemade meal. Clemence uses mostly regional products and is environment conscious.

Want to discover Alsace while enjoying a unique setting? Beautiful, comfortable and spacious guest rooms await you in Nordheim, a typically Alsatian village ideally located at the gates of the Alsace wine route and 20 minutes from Strasbourg. Enjoy a moment of escape and tranquility in this pleasant and vast house of the 17th century, protected by the Historical Monuments of Alsace, extended by a park of 5000m2 with summer pool. A real change of scenery with all modern comfort in a quiet, authentic and elegant.
We enjoyed a long weekend at Unter der Linde and it was absolutely perfect! This was our last trip as a couple before expecting our first baby, so we were looking for easy and relaxing. To start, the host is incredibly warm and inviting. We felt like we could really enjoy the garden, pool, terrace, and our room because of the warm atmosphere she creates. She accommodating and very friendly! She has great tips too on where to go, vineyards, restaurants, etc. The b&b is beautifully redone so the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We loved sitting in the garden, going for a swim and enjoying the terrace in the evening after dinner. There are wonderful areas to hike nearby, cute villages to explore, lots of vineyards, great restaurants within a 10-minute drive...more than enough to do. The Alsace region always gives us a feeling of being in another world! We can definitely recommend a stay at Unter der Linde!

A very clean B+B with everything a couple needs. If you want something special for breakfast, you get it. We had our own bathroom and toilet and use of a small kitchen(shared). Only one thing that could be improved with time is a closet in each room.

I have spent one night in September in this hotel. The building looks nice, there is train station on the opposite side of street. Hotel is located in the village without any restaurant. Nearest restaurants are about 5 km from this village. There is also restaurant in the hotel, but it was closed (it was afternoon...). Owner speak very poor, basic english, which is not bad, because other employees don’t speak english nor german at all... The room itself was clean. However there were some surprises. First - there was free rooms on ground floor, but we received room on 1st floor, right next to some kind of renovated section of hotel. So we could see all the mess there was. Why? We don’t know at all. Almost all rooms were opened, so in some of them we could see more of this mess. One of the guest ate something sitting by a table in corridor. All remainings (including half-eaten meat ball) was left there, on the table in main corridor whole afternoon, evening, night and morning. It was cleaned after 10 am next day. A breakfast was a true joke. Only cold things, a couple slices of cheese and some meat, absolutely no vegetables, some pieces of french bread... It looked more like some starter maybe. Anyway I would give 2.5 to this hotel, because it was cheap (69 eur for double room + 7.80 eur for breakfast each (breakfast was actually expensive looking through what we got)). But since there are no „halfs” in rating, I keep it on 2. If the owners would put a little more effort into taking care of this hotel, into what there is to show, and what should be hidden, into cleaning more often, into better breakfast - they should manage to achieve 4-/5.
