Thailand's fast-growing capital is a city of contrasts. Feast on amazing Thai food in shabby markets for lunch and sip on cocktails in a glitzy rooftop bar several hours later. Marvel at the buzzing alleys and temples of Chinatown and Banglamphu, then take a tuk tuk to Siam, where luxurious shopping malls await. It's these contradictions that make this vibrant city a magnet for tourists from all over the world, each of them promising themselves to come back again and again.

We stayed with one other couple in March. The staff were extremely helpful on our arrival with bags etc. Early check in was not made available and was an additional supplement at approximately 1000 baht per room, considering we only paid 1500baht per night, seemed excessive. Rooms were very tidy and clean. Room service was also very good, prompt and well priced. Massage services offered in the hotel were very good and priced at approximately 300-400 baht. Pool area was relatively small but good for a cool down. Breakfast was good, wide variety of both Thai and Western options. Only downside to the hotel was that local taxi drivers did not seem to know it well. We found it best if you show them the exact location rather than naming the hotel. Centrally located and taxi cost was approximately 100- 200 baht to most locations. Airport taxi was around 500 baht direct to the hotel

I stayed there for only three nights (three nights too long). I found the staff rude and even abusive, at times rolling their eyes up at me just for asking asking questions and once even shouting when I asked them to repeat an answer to my question. One evening, at around midnight while returning to the hotel I was solicited just a few meters outside the gate by a transgender prostitute. Not always in the best of moods because of my treatment at the hotel, being aggressively solicited by a less than attractive "lady boy" was not going to improve my mood one iota. So I rather bluntly said "get lost..." I then sat at an outside table near the gate to smoke a cigarette prior to returning to my room. The prostitute then stood outside the gate verbally abusing me. What made it worse was the hotel guard just remained at his post and allowed the abuse to continue. To put this in perspective, the security guards at my favourite hotel in Manila are quick to shoo away beggars as they approach me outside the building with once even telling a cop who approached me "just to talk" to get lost and leave out guests alone. There was a less than polite exchange between the cop and the two hotel guards when the lady guard yelled to the cop in English "get a warrant if you want to talk to him."No that is service. When I checked out, the hotel told that they had not yet received in their account the money from my prepaid booking. I explained that back in the Philippines, a country which honours Islamic holidays, that it may be delayed because institutions there were closed the past two days because of Ramadan. The desk clerk said that I cannot leave the hotel until I pay for my stay. It was paid, but just not in their account yet because of the holiday. Then then she called her nasty rude manager and she demanded that I pay the bill in full or I would have to stay. To which I replied "you think you are going to detain me... I think not" and walked away tossing my key card on the desk. She said that she will call the police. Then I said "call them then" and walked out and got into my taxi and off I went to the airport. I was expecting hassle at the airport but I received none. I mentioned my experience to person working at the tourist information booth and he told me that what the hotel tried to do to him was illegal and I did the right thing to just walk away and that he would report this incident.

My son wanted to have a pod hotel experience on our Thailand trip, so we choose this hotel for our last night before flying out early in the morning. I would say it was a great option for a younger backpacker/traveler on a budget. We bought out an entire room so had private showers. The lockers were small, but we didn't need them. Not the best option for a family with a lot of luggage, but pretty clean. We did have a few people knock on our door in the middle of the night and try to get in for some reason.

Barefeet Naturist Resort, Bangkok is a small naturist or nudist family resort in Thailand promoting healthy naturist lifestyle in a clothes free environment.
What can I add to all the praise, everything has already been said and written..... Dear Dao, Am, and Gregers, I have not encountered the homely atmosphere that this resort radiates and that you tirelessly maintain it anywhere else and I would like to thank you for the pleasant, but far too short time that we were with you. The next reservation has already been made... 555
