Ryokan
This place is a little far from many things, but hey that's what Ryokans are supposed to be. I have stayed in a few and they are always fun. This is a great area in Kyushu. I loved staying here, and will certainly stay again. The breakfasts are traditional Japanese. The dinners were all French food .INCREDIBLE cooking and surroundings. There is a Super bike trail nearby on an abandoned rail bed. When we were there it was raining most of the time, so not busy. The owner was very generous with his time, picked us up from train, drove us to the bike trail etc. Very sweet couple are owners. DEF. a not miss.
