The pictures of their rooms are not the reality. Ask them to send updated room photos before booking. The room they put us in we refused to stay as it had moldy sealing, smelly cabinets, broken and smelly fridge, rusted and dusty fan, windowless room, and mosquitoes buzzing around. This is suppose to be their “deluxe” room. The front desk eventually agreed to put us in a different room which was an improvement. The staff unfortunately all seem rather depressed. No smiles, no welcoming greetings. The bar area at night is completely dead, no music, no atmosphere, and at 9pm everyone starts packing up, sweeping and cleaning which we took as a sign that we should leave.

My wife and I were booked in Room 217. We checked in at 3pm and had hoped to get some rest, but we couldn't because of the noises coming from what seemed like rowdy people next door. We initially thought they were guests in other rooms, but it turns out that Room 217 was beside the break room for the staff. We just happened to be in our room while employees were noisily unwinding next door. We've no problems about staff letting off some steam after a hard shift, but guests are trying to get some rest. We duly notified the front desk about our concern. Instead of a standard type of apology coming straight from the hotel's PR department, we only got a stern reminder that the break room will only be occupied until 1800, and that we'll have a quiet night's sleep. No apology. Shame because the hotel looked like it was recently renovated, which is keeping me from giving it the lowest rating.

Advice to visitors...Stay at the new building its better Staff are good I am a little bit concerned about how they sanitize the room since they dont use disenffectants in cleaning. They just wash toilets with water and clean without dissenfecting

The sunny days and starlit nights of Bakasyunan call you. Begin your day with a stroll down the wide sand beach and a dip in the cool, clear china sea. Have a picnic lunch prepared by our 24 hour restaurant with local specialties and the freshest ingredients. Plan an action-packed afternoon with volleyball, basketball, fishing in the lagoon, mini golf, motor biking, unicycle, banana boat, jet ski, and kayak to nearby coral reefs, or just relax among the palm breezes.
We had Team building trip for 30+ staff from our business (3 years after previous trip). Last time was not so bad this time was much worse and would certainly not recommend this place for anything. Negatives.........food portions very small ........if we had not taken additional food the group would have been hungry for sure. Very noisy window type AC, bathroom too small, no hot water shower. Only 1 toilet which was broken (no flush), filthy old stained bathroom mirror, poor quality BBQ equipment, too many regulations on use of pool and restrictions on use of beach area. Staff not very attentive and no consideration whatsoever towards the guest. Food quality was just acceptable though of course cooked hours earlier and therefore cold......no staff advisory that food was ready ............... Really expected some improvement from the last time we were there on staff bonding 3 years ago.........but it was much worse with the resort pretty much run down in desperate need of some "tender loving care". Positives - NONE ............won't be returning to this place. we paid 66k for a single night stay at this place and feel totally aggrieved and dissatisfied. Stay at this resort at your peril!

Quiet place. All ok looksl a little dated and could do with a bit of cleaning here and there but nice staff. Will return. Swimming pools were nice. Good place for a day or two. Beach is ok but didn't look good to swim in the sea.

Stayed a couple of night in March. It had been a few years since we had been last and i can say the pandemic has certainly had in impact with Blue Rock. The accommodation was very tired to say the least and in desperate need of update...especially the shower room if you can call it that. AC worked, TV/Cable did not, hot water heater was from the early 1990's i think. The restaurant menu as ever is extensive. There was a group of 8 of us and none of us had a decent meal the time we were there. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Won't be going back to Blue Rock....i am sure there are better out there. The beach and water was clean and clear at the Blue Rock....but when walking along the beach it was littered with garbage in and out of the water.......says a lot when the locals can't be bothered to maintain it

Camp Rofelio is a relatively new resort in Zambales. We just visited during the day, but they have a wide range of accommodations for different group sizes. Kubos are available with either AC or fan. There are also larger villas as well as tents for camping. The entire place is extremely clean, including the restrooms. The staff clearly make an effort to keep Camp Rofelio spotless! Cabanas are also available for rent and can fit up to 20. You have a great view of the ocean from them, and there is a lovely beach with fine sand for lounging or swimming. I am not a surfer, but this area is known also for surfing. And sunsets at Camp Rofelio are unforgettable! The owners are clearly working to enhance your stay with additional amenities. Already there is a pool table, ATVs, grills, a nice shower room, tents, and a place to buy cold drinks. Construction is on-going for additional rooms. The owners also arrange for special weekend activities, like live music. The owners and staff seem to go out of their way to make each guest's stay enjoyable. Camp Rofelio is a real gem in Zambales!

Youhan Beach Resort is your breather outside the city. A refreshing resort like no other, built in the center of the stunning sunset and breathtaking mountains. Youhan is a full service resort with lots of amenities.
Good - staffs very friendly -food is pretty good and decent amount of serving -location beachfront is good Bad-Cabana rooms We booked all 3 Of them due to urgency and we couldn’t wait to get out the next day. -cabana rooms is overpriced for such a kind of accomodation 3500php. not even complimentary bottled water - door in one cabana can’t even be locked so slept all Night with door open. When complained the next morning, only to be told you need to lift the door to lock. That’s the most disgusting reason I have ever heard. They should have repaired it immediately when have problem. The 1st cabana smells of toilet sewage because the other property toilet is just beside it. Then the other cabana is beside another common toilet which smells the same. The Japanese owner who was there the whole time should have at least checked on the condition of his resort. Pretty disappointing. To the management. Hope you get rid of those cabanas or at least make them better for customer comfort, not just for profit.
