My review on 5 June 2022 was deleted. Firstly, we are made to wait for 2.5hrs to get our room key when we reached earlier at 2pm than the supposed check in timing to avoid the crowd. All the guests that came later than us were given their room keys instantly while we were made to wait at the lobby with no news on when will we receive our key nor did the Sofitel Sentosa team update us on the status periodically. I have enquired with the staffs there multiple times but they replied nonchalantly that the housekeeping were busy to simply brushed me off. Even when I requested to speak to a manager who can assist me on this, one of the staff replied me “no one is available to assist”. I had to single out the manager on my own and only then, we manage to get our room key. They were only interested in serving and entertaining the foreign tourists and simply treated local tourists like dirt from the way I interacted with them. I understand that there are a shortage of manpower due to covid, but if Sofitel Sentosa is unable to handle the crowd (post-covid), they should not be selling out all their rooms and made us wait for so long. Secondly, besides the room being dusty with dusts flying all over the place when we moved around the room (thank god, my eczema didn’t flare up), the bathroom design is totally a fall hazard. We were only given the choice to shower in the bathtub, and the way to enter and exit the bathtub has no form of assistance at all. Me being 155cm, my legs are not able to reach in/out of the bathtub and I can only do so while holding onto the towel rack provided at the top of the bathtub. I believe, I am not the only one having such difficulties. Thirdly, the staffs at LeBar were just simply money-faced. We ordered drinks on our first day while waiting for our room, we were given seating within the lounge and the service was decent. I don’t see any fault from there since we were paying customers. On the second day, we went to LeBar once more with the intention to get our complimentary welcome drink. Guess what? We were denied seating in the lounge itself and was asked to sit outside instead. There were no customers at all during that time and the reason by the waiter was “tables are all reserved” and simply brushed us off. Such disparity between the two visits just because that one was that we were paying, while the other was because it was a redemption of complimentary drinks. We had been to a few hotels but our experience with Sofitel Sentosa was the worst and it was so terrible that we definitely will not be back again. Their cluster GM Mr Cavaliere responded to my review on 6 June 2022 asking me to contact him via his email as he would like to find out more but I have not received his reply since 9 June 2022 (AM).

A haven nestled along the fringe of a tropical rainforest, Equarius Hotel is the perfect getaway for nature lovers and families alike. All our spacious and breezy deluxe rooms and suites feature a private balcony with stunning panoramic views of either forest or sea. The equally spacious bathrooms are designed for lavish convenience with double vanity areas, a separate bathtub and shower area.
Had a very pleasurable check in process! Winkki assisted our check in process and very kindly arranged for a high floor for us upon check-in. She was also very helpful to provide all the information about the hotel amenities, shuttle service timings and breakfast timings. The check in process usually sets the tone of our stay and we were glad for such a smooth and friendly check in process by Winkki! The room was very clean though the furniture is showing signs of age though still very much functional!

An ultra-luxury resort situated on Sentosa Island, Capella Singapore transports guests into a setting of ultimate peace and tranquility. Guests can enjoy its onsite, award-winning Auriga spa, three restaurants, as well as the beautiful landscape overlooking the South China Sea. Nearby facilities include a golf course, family and kids-friendly attractions. The hotel is also 10-15 minutes drive away from Singapore's bustling business and shopping districts.
I was here for a business conference. It was my third time staying at the Capella but I was still completely amazed. The venue is stunning, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are warm, professional and kind. I particularly want to say thank you to Ritesh from Bob's Bar who went out of his way to help my young kids feel welcome, even when they were making a complete mess. I also want to thank Kenny and her team in the Gallery - the food was spectacular, and I am still amazed at how they remembered everyone's name. I honestly think Capella is the best hotel in Singapore.

A luxurious treat for art lovers, Hotel Michael is designed by one of America's greatest contemporary architects - Michael Graves. This boutique hotel bears the designer's elegant and distinctive touches, from lamps and crockery to furnishings and the decor. You will also enjoy a myriad of conveniences, and a short walk to the various attractions.
This is a 5 star hotel. The check in system and wait is totally unacceptable. Arrived at 3. Booked 2 rooms but was told that the 1 room is not ready and will have to wait till evening to collect room key. The other room is spacious but has a musky stench. I am still queing at the other counter which the conceirge had assured me that key card collection will be smooth. Wasted my time. Will not be back. Strongly not recommended

This resort is amazing. Beautiful rainforest setting with a gorgeous pool and right across from the beach. My deluxe room was perfect, and I’m so happy I booked my short staycation stay at Siloso Beach Resort. Special shout-out to Rush (I hope I got the name right), who was super helpful and customer-friendly. Thanks for a very memorable stay :)

Indulge in the tranquility of this home away from home that opens out to private timber sundecks and verandahs elegantly framing the free-form pool. Taking decadence to the next level, luxe mattresses paired with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen, duck feather pillows and luxurious in-room amenities are perfectly complemented by our 24-hour personal butler service.
Booked a room at the ocean suite, the view is fantastic, worth every penny i paid for the room and more. Kim Chuan the butler and Zafie the Duty Manager were really helpful, polite and fulfilled our every request with top notch services. Also, my partner and I both had fun riding the buggy out to different areas out of suite.

A room with disappointing view, different what we paid for during booking. Requests prior were not met. With a room price like this, many more hotels in the city area are much better. Definitely our first and last visit.

A scenic sanctuary facing the panoramic Aranda Course and Seletar Reservoir, the 75-room Orchid Lodge is Orchid Country Club’s very own resort hotel. Elegant interiors, modern design, and comfortable amenities all cater to a much needed getaway for guests in need of total relaxation.
Another lovely stay at OCC - The huge rooms, selection of activities and proximity to the wildlife parks are just some of the reasons I keep coming back. The rooms are just about the largest I can find, and 3 to 5 swimming pools means something for everyone! There's plenty of restaurants onsite and I love the ample greenery..

I stayed with my wife and 4-year old, for a beach holiday. The little one LOVED the beach and couldn't get enough of it. Overall, it was a good holiday. But the rooms were too small for the amount of money paid. Positives: - Has a private beach, with ample deck chairs and loungers. - The beach has very gentle waves (like a lake), soft sand, no sharp stones. Ideal for little ones wanting to splash around and build sand castles. - Large system of pools with slides, water fountains and lots of features for kids to remain entertained. - Large kids club with loads of activities - Housekeeping was very good and timely. - Generous with drinking water bottles in the room - Excellent fast Wifi throughout the property (except pool and beach - where it barely existed). Negatives: - Food at breakfast and dinner buffets is not 5-star hotel standard. - 20 min wait to get a breakfast table, despite the breakfast area being huge. - Rooms are dated and tiny. We initially booked a "panoramic sea view" room. This barely had space to walk. Had to upgrade to a larger room. - No computers or business centre. I needed a computer to fill some covid-related travel forms. The hotel had no way to help me. - Bathroom sometimes smelt of sewage. Overall, this is a very good option for families with Kids. But otherwise, this hotel can be avoided. Don't come here for a solo/business or romantic trip.

My boyfriend and I booked the NSRCC Changi bungalow 35 for the BBQ and staycation. We were both impressed by the cleanliness and the thoughtful layout of the bungalow. The bbq was located near the dining area to facilitate for easy transfer of food and fan to blow the BBQ smoke away from the inner parts of the bungalow. The bbq area also had a outdoor sink and huge bin for easy access. The bottom floor was wheelchair friendly with flat flooring. The living hall was very spacious as well. The pool was also huge with a sizeable children section. The location was also located near the Changi costal park for a scenic evening walk of morning run. Car lots is also provided near the bungalow to transfer your luggage. Some things that were lacking which was despite the free wifi, the internet TV with Netflix was not able to connect to the internet which was a pity. There was also the sound of planes taking off every few minutes although with the windows closed within the bungalow, it was not very loud. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. Some tips for fellow travellers would be to book the bungalows nearer to the bungalow reception for closest access to the pool and reception. The bungalow we booked 35P was near the pool but the access area was way near the bungalow reception instead. One may consider the sun facing of each bungalow as well that would heat up the bungalow. We were fortunate as ours only had the morning sun and did not affect the rooms. However, I observed some bungalows with their blinds closed throughout, Also a bit of common sense, keep your bungalow balcony and main doors closed as much as possible to avoid insects getting in. As clean as the bungalow is on the inside, the bungalow is still among the thriving nature.
