What a fab place. We booked half board and a side sea view room . Everything is provided. Water in the rooms, bath robes, iron and ironing board. Coffee machine in the room, coffee and tea making. We wanted a balcony which was fab. The main restaurant was very nice with a fab choice of foods. My wife has a severe nut allergy which they took on board and made alternative arrangements. We had our wedding anniversary while we were there and they made it a special evening for us. We were also offered an upgrade on the last night to our own pool which was a lovely treat just before leaving. I also hired a car from Elpis car hire. Great value for money and enabled us to have several days exploring Crete. A fab fortnight.

Where do I start with this hotel! I thoroughly did my research when booking a hotel and whilst there was some beautiful luxury instragrammable hotels I opted for Iberostar panorama and mare as it seemed to tick the most boxes. I can confidently say this has been the best hotel overall I’ve ever stayed at. I’ll summarise my experience with everything as this would have helped me when looking Location: A bit out of the way but the hotel is so good you literally do not need to leave. If the man made beach puts you off there’s a normal beach next door. We didn’t visit it but it looked lovely. I would recommend getting a taxi to the airport rather than a transfer as it took 3 hours by transfer and 1 hour 15mins in a taxi. There’s a bus stop to go to rethymno which we visited, we weren’t there long but it was really lovely and recommend going. We also got a taxi to Panoramas to eat at Kastro which was a lovely family run restaurant. There’s a mini market nearby. There isn’t any bars or restaurants close by. Room: The room was as advertised. The bed was super super comfortable (so much so it’s a struggle to get out!) The air conditioning is good and the room was very clean. I loved that the maids never disturbed us our whole stay and our room was cleaned everyday. Normally you get walked in on at least once on holiday but not at Iberostar. One of the only things that was a let down with the room was the bathroom. The shower was tiny and a shower curtain around it that didn’t really stop the water. Bathroom returbs would really make this hotel a 5 star. You can hear next doors toilet flush it’s quite loud and woke us up before, you can hear a lot from the hallway too. Again wouldn’t stop me from staying here, just some constructive criticism. Facilities: When we arrived we was quite confused as there was no welcome pack and we literally didn’t know where anything was. It took us a good day to find the on site shop which is easy to find when you know where it is but we were told different directions. We didn’t know where the pools were etc but nothing an explore couldn’t fix. I think there was 5/6 pools all but one were salt water which actually made a nice change to chemicals. I really would recommend a map and welcome pack. There is a shop on site that sell bus tickets, snacks, cigarettes, bus tickets, lilos etc. there’s two boutique shops and a cute jewellery shop. There’s toilets everywhere and they’re very clean. Facilities were great at this hotel. Food and drink; The food was honestly nothing short of amazing. I’m quite fussy as in I eat most foods but don’t like it when food is bland or over cooked, I didn’t have a bad meal here. Everything was fresh, good quality, plentiful, varied and gorgeous! We enjoyed zorbas lunch so much we didn’t actually eat lunch at the main restaurant. Cappuccinos were beautiful, cocktails were amazing, there was branded alcohol included with all inclusive. Sparkling wine was lovely. Honestly it was so good, the desserts were spectacular. There’s a beach hut that sells food during the day with a really cute menu included in all inclusive. It’s a shame I only found out about it two days before the holiday ended as there’s no information on the grounds but would highly recommend grabbing food from there. You can also grab really nice sandwiches from mare bar if you’re going out for the day or for your room. Even the sandwiches are good! It’s important to find an all inclusive hotel that have good food and drink because it can cost you a fortune otherwise. Luckily Iberostar excelled in this! It’s also worth mentioning this hotel has made an amazing effort to be environmentally friendly. It’s not something I do always notice but I definitely did here. There was zero waste and you can tell they have spent more money on things like cups, spoons etc to make everything fully recyclable which is important considering how much is used a day. Well done! Staff/entertainment team: I’ve saved the best til last! The staff at this hotel were actually inspiring. They had entertainment and things to do all day I loved the water volleyball and water areobics. there truly is a special team here and management should count themselves lucky to have such amazing staff. They were polite, beautiful people. A huge thank you to Simone, Tony, Matea, Both Valeria’s, Doris and everyone else. A special thank you to Ioli who really did look after us. I could go on forever at how amazing the staff are I would return solely to see them. They take time to speak to you during the day and evening and make sure you are ok and have everything you need. They go above and beyond. Both Valeria’s are doing so amazing considering they’d only been at Iberostar a month. I’m not normally one who can be entertained I’m quite a serious person who doesn’t find hotel entertainment entertaining but I actually was excited to go to the shows every night. The animation team put on the best shows and they were very funny and accommodating to all. I will definitely be returning to this hotel. If this is in your shortlist or holidays, you won’t regret booking it. It has a very positive homely safe vibe to it, I’ve never known a hotel so welcoming. Anything I have said that isn’t positive isn’t a negative just constructive criticism. Thank you so much again to the team.

Located on the seafront, the Iberostar Creta Marine hotel is an extremely pleasant hotel at which to spend your days of relaxation with gastronomy, sports, and entertainment. It features 359 rooms, and you can choose among rooms, bungalows and suites with a large capacity. Okay, the hotel is lovely, the setting is beautiful though miles from Rethmynon, Panormo beach is lovely. A view strange things in the hotel. Water with a meal on Half Board, 3 euros. Lockers in the luggage room. 2 euros EVERY time you open the locker ! Check out at 11a.m for an 11pm flight and you soon run out of the coins if you had any to start with) Then, when you've checked out, you go for lunch. Obviously, you have checked out and therefore cannot add this to your room....BUT it's cash only ! Stayed in the Iberostar group of hotels around the world many times ( the best being Sabila in Tenerife)... Staff very good though some crazy crazy rules in here. Special mention to the late night man on reception, Manos. Goes the extra mile to help.

We have just got back from a 10 day holiday at this hotel and it was so much better than we expected! The food was amazing with soo much choice! The Asian restaurant was our favourite! The snack bar was also brilliant with lots of choice and available all day. You could ask for any drink and the staff would do everything they could to get you whatever you wanted. The room was very spacious and cleaned every day to a very high standard. The staff were so helpful and friendly which we really appreciated. The water park was also brilliant and is lovely to spend a few hours in! The pool areas are very clean and tidy and always have sunbeds available. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel!

At the top of Agia Galini, in an enchanting, verdurous location, an idyllic setting of 10,000 square meters, among olive trees and gardens of unique flowers, scents and colors, the touristic resort LENIKOS offers the nature lover, moments of serenity, relaxation, rest and casualness all year round, providing all comforts and facilities for your holidays.
3-night stay as part of a family trip to Crete in August 21. We had an air-conditioned apartment, very spacious for 5 people with a large terrace. The hotel has 3 swimming pools and is located in a quiet area with a beautiful view. Only slight downside, there is little shade around the pools when it is really hot. The breakfast is copious, varied and home-made. As very often in Crete, the service is impeccable and the people very welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Very very friendly staff, reception staff and lovely sea views and pools. We enjoyed the food and general atmosphere however im giving this hotel a 3 star rating for the non existent air conditioning in the rooms and buffet area. The air conditioning in our sauna of a room with 39 degrees outside and 45 degrees inside just did not work. All doors and slidings doors were shut and the units worked and worked and no cold air came out and the control was set to 18 degrees. Most terrible sleep weve ever had because of the heat and we were drenched in swet everytime we stepped in the room. Management needs to address the issue! Other than that all was fine but perhaps will visit again in cooler months.

Pros. Clean. Spacious room. Pretty gardens. Amazing sea view from room on 6th floor. Food is good. The lamb was amazing. Massuese was excellent in the spa. Well worth a visit. Right on the beach but was stony. Free WiFi. Shops include supermarket, jeweller and clothes shop. Pool room. 2 restaurants. Main buffet restaurant and an Italian set meal restaurant on the beach. Lovely food. You are Limited to a few bookings. A few very friendly staff. Antonio was brilliant ? Cons. Evening entertainment is in-house apart from one Greek night. This made the evenings boring. Location isn't great, 10 minutes drive to Rethymon. No English guests, mainly German TV only has an English news channel, plenty of German channels. You're only given a small paper cup during the day which holds a quarter of a pint. You keep having to go to top up. Hot food usually included pork but a lot of variety. The hotel has so much more potential for entertainment. Even music in the daytime was tame. Activities very sparce. No beach games. No excursions. There is a place across the road to book excursions.

The resort in the bay of Damnoni on Crete is located in a palm grove directly by a golden sandy beach. Enjoy the luxury of the around 200 apartments, crystal-clear water and all kinds of water sports activities. Go on excursions to explore cultural sites, gorges and mountains in the local vicinity and further afield.
Hapimag maintain a high standard of resorts throughout Europe, and Crete is one of our favourites. The Damnoni beach is clean and quiet and there are plenty of spectacular sights to visit from here. The Hapimag restaurant and beach side tavernas offer a great choice of food, including plenty of fish and vegetarian options.

I stayed here end of September for a holiday with my partner. We arrived late at night so rang ahead to let them know. Very lovely apartment, staff very attentive and great value for money. Would definitely need a car staying here as its out of the way of the main areas. We got the 1 bedroom apartment which came with a balcony. It was spacious enough for 2 people and had basic hob and kettle. Would 100% recommend but advised that a car is essential.
