Think you need an ocean for a beach? Think again. There are miles and miles of sandy lakefront beaches in Michigan (thanks to the four Great Lakes that border it). The west coast of Michigan has especially nice beaches—try a rental in Muskegon, Grand Haven or Saugatuck. You won’t need a car when visiting Mackinac Island. In fact, they’re not allowed—this lovely Victorian resort town is pedestrian-only.

Room was accommodating and staff was very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with one of the bikes we rented and they rushed us out a replacement. The package includes ferry passes, money towards any meal or beverage, so very flexible.

Honestly, I read some of the reviews posted here AFTER I booked my stay, and was wondering if I made a mistake. Thankfully, I found that I had not. I'm not sure where some of the negative reviews were coming from, but from my experience, they were way out of line from mine. I booked through TripAdvisor. The registration was easy and quick. When I arrived at the hotel, they had my reservation and I received a third floor end room. I could see the water, but I wasn't there for that. The room was clean, well appointed. There was a coffee maker, refrigerator and sundries in the room. Due to C19, they only clean at the end of a stay. Which is totally ok with me. They do offer a breakfast. I'm trying to eat keto and the free breakfast isn't really good for that. And the breakfast is what you would expect a most hotels offering it. Belgian waffles, premade French toast, English muffins, bagels. premade omelets, juice, coffee, milk, cereal. If you want something more substantial, there is Denny's down the street and a few other great places. But...it works for what it is. The lobby was well appointed. There was a variety of coffees available, and they had a freezer with Moomer's ice cream for $3.00 per half pint. Chairs and a gas fireplace in the lobby. The pool was clean and sized well, with a hot tub.

I was disappointed with our stay in this Best Western hotel in Mackinaw City. The service we received absolutely did not correspond with the 160+ USD/night we paid. The hotel staff at the reception was not friendly, and not customer service oriented. The hotel is pretty outdated, you might be lucky to get a decent room - but maybe not. Our room 233 that we were assigned to was not worth even 100 USD/night, it was dark with no daylight even during the brightest sunny day. I attach 2 pictures - taken at 10 AM on a beautiful sunny day - so you can judge if this is the type of room you want to stay in during your vacation. The breakfast quality is pretty poor as well - no bagels, no cream cheese, no crambled eggs, only black tea and no other choice, only one type of non-fat yogurt. The value you get for your money is low - next time I will definitely stay elsewhere and I suggest yu do to

We have stayed at the Four Winds several times and for the most part have enjoyed our one night experience. The hotel facility is nice, the Cooper Rock Restaurant is nice and the gaming area is large and fun. One my most recent stay the hotel room was worn, the carpet stained and the front desk unfriendly. The casino bars are using plastic cups - which is cheesy fora $10 drink. Cooper Rock is nice but lacks the professionalism of the staff that we use to enjoy. The overall experience is watered down post COVID.

Enjoy the tranquil waters of the bay from your private balcony complete with breathtaking sunrises. Relax in quiet modern spacious rooms where cable tv, high speed internet, coffee makers, mini fridge, and microwave are all standard features.
It was a beautiful room with an amazing view. Location was quiet but not far from the highway. Coffee shop in the hotel was ferric as well. Had a minor shower issue in our room but we were able to move rooms once we made staff aware. Staff was incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay.

I’m a returning Canadian that once loved staying here. The staff at check in was not all that great to deal with. The food/deli was good but the workers not very pleasant. This carried through the northern rewards and VIP rewards to have the same poor attitudes. I’m very disappointed. This was a place I once loved going to.

A previous stay was very enjoyable but this one was not. (Plus) I was able to check in online. The promise was that check-in was going to be faster, as I only needed to show my ID to pick up the key card. (Minus) I still had to wait 20 minutes to show my ID and pick up the room card. (Minus) Room was dated. Most notable: very few outlets left for electronics. Between my husband and I, we had 6 electronics, plus a couple of items for the bathroom. There were only 4 open outlets in the room and 2 in the bathroom. I suggest that you consider changing the outlets to have USB ports. Alternatively, change the lamps to have at least 2 additional outlets. (Minus) The bathroom was deteriorated. The bathtub had some stains, paint was chipped. (Minus) The A/C was very, very loud. (Minus) The bed was too soft. It is time to change the mattress! (Minus) No refrigerator in the room. I should have checked that before making reservations, I know, but I did not think it was going to be an issue because there is usually vending machines on the floors, right? Well... (Minus) The soda machine on the floor was out of soda the three days we stayed. (Minus) They are still offering no housekeeping, There is a sign in the room that says it is for safety. However, there were no other safety practices: no masks required, no social distancing while seating at restaurants or taking the elevators, and not one employee was wearing masks. So, it seems that the only safety practice that they follow is to not do housekeeping which feels more like a saving money practice than anything else. Given the prices, I hope this is changed back in the near future. (Minus) At check out, not even a question about how was the stay.

I cant begin to say how great our stay was. The facility was clean, comfortable, safe and pleasant. It really was the best part of our short trip. We only stayed one night but we felt appreciated and welcomed. Max at the front desk made things effortless for our family of five which really made a big difference for us. Thank you Max and everyone. We will be back.

For the amount we paid for the night - $188 - I expected much better. To start off, when we pulled into the parking lot, several work trucks were lined up and a lot of workers were standing around the entrance smoking and drinking. The check in went well, the staff was adequate, and at first glance, the lobby of the hotel was nice. Now the room. When we first entered the room it was apparent that the previous occupants had smoked in the room – it smelled like stale smoke. My wife had to spray Lysol throughout the room. The carpet was in desperate need of cleaning - apparent stains and it was obviously dirty. The beds were adequate - but the blankets were older and tattered – they reminded me of a type you'd find in a rustic motel somewhere out west. The bed spreads were questionable. The shower and bathroom were clean with sufficient towels, wash clothes, etc. They do not provide a hot breakfast nor housekeeping (due to COVID, if course), however they gave us a checklist of items we may want delivered to our room for breakfast: Hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Not what we would expect for the price we paid for the room. All in all, we chose this hotel because we were attending a wedding in nearby Travers City. If we had to do it again, we'd pass on the All Seasons Hotel and "Resort” The resort part is a bit of a stretch.
