The Cliff House Hotel. A Hotel For Seaside Luxury regarded as one of the finest small luxury five-star hotels in Ireland, The Cliff House Hotel is a 39-room Irish seaside boutique hotel in the traditional fishing village of Ardmore. Our privately owned hotel also features an intimate Irish destination spa as well as the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Ireland outside Dublin. The building seems to defy gravity, clinging to a cliff on the south side of Ardmore Bay where there has long been a fishing village. From sun-drenched terraces and private balconies it is possible to see Ardmore’s golden sands, lobster pots and dolphins that play out on the water. All our luxury rooms and suites are sea facing while many are interconnected to provide family-friendly configurations. Our intimate destination spa, The Well, is a key attraction.
Excellent food, rooms with a view, friendly knowledgeable staff. Very enjoyable stay. Michelin star House restaurant is amazing, the staff are excellent in their knowledge and attention to detail. Will definitely return.

A spectacular vista of the Atlantic Ocean greets you on arrival at Dunmore House Hotel. This third generation family business first opened as a hotel in 1948. The house still retains much of its original character whilst providing all the comforts of a modern hotel. Situated on the shores of Clonakilty Bay in charming West Cork, the adjoining 9 hole golf course and sea terrace add to the enjoyment of this spectacular location. The bar and lounge areas are warm and inviting with an interesting collection of modern Irish art. Both the contemporary dining room and attractive terrace overlook the water. The extensive bar and dining room menus offer high quality locally sourced food, served daily. The magnificent coastal location of Dunmore House Hotel has been used to advantage to provide sea views from most rooms. The hotel is furnished and maintained to a high standard to ensure the comfort of all guests.
My partner and I were blown away at how welcoming the staff at Dunmore House Hotel were when we visited West Cork this weekend. Having been recommended the venue as a dog-friendly place to eat, we were welcomed and put completely at ease by the staff. They were great with our dog Joey who was only delighted to get all the attention! The views from the outdoor area were absolutely stunning as they overlook Incheydoney beach. A huge thanks to the hotelier, Carol who had heard that we needed to pop to the shop to get some milk before we headed back to our accommodation and brought us out some to take home! Those small touches are greatly appreciated. The food, service and overall atmosphere were all top class. We look forward to returning on our next trip to West Cork in the near future.

I can only comment on a full day in the Spa, not an overnight stay. Beautifully located in the Powerscourt Estate, the hotel enjoys a tranquil position. Walk through the grand entrance to the spa, located downstairs. Elegant and stylish with a Swarovski swimming pool, reception area and restaurant on one level and treatment rooms, relaxation room and spa on the upper level. Staff here is friendly and polite and the treatments we chose were lovely. Massages, neck, head, legs and feet. Lunch was part of the package. Tasty and fresh, soup and salad and an assortment of sandwiches and pastries afterwards. Nearly too much food. My only critique is that the downstairs jacuzzi could be a tad warmer and the upstairs whirlpool in the ladies section a lot warmer. This one was cold!! Not what you want in a spa! You will find plenty of towls in the change rooms, lockers and bathrobes plus slippers are provided. You will also have access to showers, hairdryer etc.. Relaxing !

A 200 year old building, well kept to a high standard. Set on the outskirts of Youghal town, nestled perfectly on the edge of the Atlantic ocean. Beautiful sandy beaches at our front door, with miles of walk way along sandy beaches & country settings. A perfect, peaceful, relaxing setting, enjoy fishing, canoeing, boating, shopping, hunting, clay pigeon shooting, cycling, at The Walter Raleigh we have it all covered.
Stayed 4 nights with family. Had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We opted for sea view rooms which were very pleasant. There was road noise during the day but hardly any noise at night. Our rooms were bright and clean with lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was very good with a good choice and nothing was too much trouble. We only had dinner one night as we were out and about the other days.

We stayed for 3 days for a family wedding and were delighted with the hotel. It is very modern and clean and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful with lovely walks and views of the golf course and the lake. Shout out to the friendly staff in the golf shop who were happy to help us out with sessions on the driving range and putting green. The wedding itself was wonderful - beautifully decorated rooms and amazing food at the formal dinner, all very well organised. We also had a bbq on the patio the next day. If you're considering Tulfarris as a wedding venue, I'd thoroughly recommend it - spot on in every way.
