Very good environment. Middle of jungle. So many activities and bonfire and candle light dinner. Simply amazing. Highly recommend. Good for everyone.

Absolutely amazing hotel
Reviewed By chillswiThis hotel is amazing. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are large and comfortable. Great air conditioning. Great proximity to the town of Ella and places to see. But what’s best is the customer service. The staff is incredible. I have a great example: I accidentally left something in the room that was very important to me. But I didn’t realize I lost it until I left. (I live in America). I contacted the hotel and they found my lost item. And they offered to ship it to me. Luckily my driver in Sri Lanka was about to drive through Ella so I was able to coordinate with this hotel to have my driver pick it up and then he got it to be back in America. This was absolutely amazing. This hotel went above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By ashanhetStayed here for 2 nights from May 2nd to the 4th with 3 families 6 people in total. Amazing place. Very private as the rooms are away from the main building with fabulous views from all the rooms and in a very private setting. Close the the town with the bars and restaurants. Close to the new pool and bar area at the 98 acres. I must mention that the staff here are amazing that includes the chef who was happy to cater to the menu we requested. Dont forget to order the Hot Batter cuttle fish that I taught was the best I tried in Sri Lanka. Do not hesitate to ask for the dishes you need as they will be happy to do what they can to make you happy. In our opinion this place is more private and not commercial as 98 acres and I think has equal or better views as its at a higher elevation. The only thing that I would say that can be improved are the wash rooms. Saying that they were not in a poor state and were clean and usable. Many Thanks to all the staff and management for making our stay very enjoyable. We will be back next time.. Until then.. Ashan, Gayani, Rohan, Imali, Ranjan and Dale

Disappointing - Service does not match the view
Reviewed By mpo253We booked this hotel as attracted by the view, and to be honest this did not disappoint. The view was stunning. Unfortunately the service stank from arrival onwards. (Even our Sri Lankan driver was astonished at the hotels attitude.) We asked for a packed breakfast, as had an early start the next day. Was told 'NO', apparently as the bar was open until late nobody would want to get up to do this for us. Eventually they agreed to give us a packed breakfast (banana, biscuits & juice drink) at dinner that evening. Not quite the packed breakfast we had received elsewhere, They asked if we would like dinner and offered us a choice of noodles or chicken curry. Having chosen chicken curry we were surprised to be served a selection of curries for dinner but no chicken curry in sight. The hotel did not seem impressed when we chose to go to into Ella for dinner on the other 2 nights. There were more staff than we had suitcases, they came across as very intimidating. Whilst we appreciate assistance with our luggage this was ridiculous and made us feel quite uncomfortable. This was the only hotel we chose not to tip in. With it's stunning location this could be a fantastic little place, but they seriously need to address their customer service. The hotel also needs some TLC, as several signs of wear and tear.

We have 7 rooms - 5 rooms + 2 cottages (TV + minibar) and a restaurant. Our property is ca 4000 square meters and offers enough space to relax. We are just off the A23 between Wellawaya and Ella at km 16. Bus stop is right next to our entry. 4 km to Ravana waterfall. WIFI in public areas, cottages ..... you are welcome to enjoy a massage. Make an appointment!
Nice family owned hotel

The hotel host was very kind, spokes fluent english and organised us some nice trips in ella. The hotel itself is very nice. It has a beautiful garden and the view is outstanding. Sadly there were no pool. The double room apartments are for the price range very good! Big, clean, nice beds with mosquito nets and two balconies. The food was also very delicious! Important note: the apartment is around 25 minutes from ella. So you have to take a tuktuk every time. When your okay with the distance I can highly recommend to stay at the feelin good resort!

Reviewed By Niall KWe were quite disappointed with the View for a number of reasons: - When we arrived, our room was not ready despite the fact that we called the day before. - The shower was cold for most of our stay there which was annoying given that November is one of the rainiest months. I had to ask the manager to turn on the hot water so that we could have a warm shower; but even then it was still cold. - Our room smelled like sewage so I expect there was an issue with the drains in the bathroom. - The floor itself in the room looked like it was rotting. - Despite the fact that the Booking.com listing stated that there was air conditioning; note that this is only a fan so I would definitely advise against staying here if you’re travelling during the hottest months. - Wi-Fi is non-existent. - Finally, we asked to get our clothes washed as we had been travelling and hiking for a week. When we got the three laundry bags back, we noticed him tearing off the receipt from one of the bags. He obviously thought that this was the receipt for all three bags but the other two receipts were stapled to the bags. When we got our final bill, we noticed that the laundry expense was much higher than the receipts we saw. We asked him to see the third receipt and after pressing him to show it to us we noticed that the laundry bill was half the price that he added to our final bill. This really left a sour taste because it was so dishonest. We would have had absolutely no problem if he told us he added an additional fee because he sorted this for us; but it was the fact that he did this in a dishonest way made us quite annoyed. The positives: - The staff were accommodating and let us change our booking dates last minute free of charge as we were stook in another city due to flooding. - The view looking over the swimming pool is really beautiful. - The food was very nice and there was plenty of it which was great after a morning or evening hike.

Too far from Ella town
Reviewed By ssa1928Hotel was very far from the town of Ella. Definitely need a tuk tuk, Taxi or private car to go from hotel. Hotel was very nice with a oversized big bathroom. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was very good and served at the balcony of the room. Not sure if they had s restaurant. Tea kettle provided when requested. Bottle water provided. Wifi was non-existing, workers provided another router for connection by to NO avail…. Wifi never worked. Location too remote but had nice views.

Reviewed By Paul KBeautiful accommodation with uniquely nice and accommodating owners. Great service, clean rooms and an indescribable view of nature. Breakfast was included und perfect. From eggs to curry and fresh fruits. Location is on a small way inside the mountains and inside the nature.
