Red Sea wonders and plentiful marine life. Seemingly part of the natural environment between sandy mountains and deepest blue seas is the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir. Built in traditional Nubian style, this relaxed resort instantly makes you feel at peace. 250 rooms are set in clusters of stone-clad bungalows with high domed ceilings in atmospheric style. A beautiful private sandy beach and stunning coral reef tempt guests to explore the bays pristine underwater. The myriad of marine life inhabiting the resort's own house reef, amaze divers and snorkelers alike.
We are a couple of French and we just went back yesterday from Moevenpick El Quseir where we stayed for a week (room 1212) It was a second stay after ( unfortunately) 10 years and we found it to be even better than before. Of course the site is magnificent, reefs and underwater life are beautiful (we are making diving and snorkeling) and the resort too …but there have been many renovations and enhancements : main restaurant renovation , new Spa, new Wellness/sport center, beautification of the main swimming pool.… The food offered is of excellent quality+ variety and we are French so we are particularly demanding! The hotel and beaches are very clean and maintained in perfect condition What made also these vacations were so nice is the quality of the team : extremely professional and customer-oriented on all sectors : all the staff are smiling and very attentive . Moreover we feel in good hands and safe and indeed you feel like you have found a second home. We had the opportunity to meet many nice people working in the resort but we particularly appreciated the great professionalism and responsiveness in all circumstances of Mostapha at the main pool. We have also experienced how he intervened when divers were in a delicate situation in the reefs. Also Sayeed who took care of our room was particularly efficient and helpful. We would like to thank all the people, we met because they made all their best to make our stay so nice We appreciated also the « repeater » cocktail and meeting the managers was a rewarding experience (and we had the opportunity thanks to Nabil to visit the newly renovated rooms ) Also we are planning to come back next October or at the latest in April 2022 : we have at present time fruitful exchanges with the reservations team, which is very responsive and we do hope we will be back very soon.

I visited the Radisson Blu El Quseir for a week with my girlfriend in May 2022. Pros: The hotel itself is gorgeous; The beach is lovely (not white sand, as should have expected with it being on a coral reef, lots of sea shells on beach so not smooth sand); Staff for the most part were excellent (especially Mustafa at the front desk, and Ahmed who works for the excursion/taxi company that has a desk in reception. Cons: The animation team play obnoxious music at the swimming pool throughout the day, and their shows in the evening are questionable at best. Neither befit a 5 star resort, or a relaxing holiday environment. You are constantly disturbed by members of the hotel’s spa, nail salon, or diving centre trying to sell you packages and experiences. This persisted for the whole week I was at the resort. Again, detracting from the hotel acting and feeling like a 5 star resort. The food at the hotel is not what I expected at all. The bar menu, and Dolphin bar (pool bar) menus are largely western items (pizza, burger, Caesar salad), which I was disappointed by. I wanted authentic Egyptian food (which appeared only to be available in Mosaic restaurant; when I tried to book for a dinner I was told I had to preorder my meal in the middle of the afternoon…). The buffet was better, although not superb. Regardless, the photos on Tripadvisor are slightly outdated, but the hotel has maintained its charm and beauty. Conclusion: The hotel is stunning, the weather was great, and staff are attentive and only too willing to help. I’d recommend to a friend, but advise them not to expect great food in the hotel, and to visit El Fardous in Quseir if you want great Egyptian food.

OVERVIEW Rohanou legendary boutique resort and Ecolodge, comprises as series of intimate terraced and domed buildings with superior and deluxe rooms and suites. The resort spreads along 24 acres of sandy and rocky land that elevated 8 meter from sea level, offering spectacular views and dipping dramatically into the sparkling blue-turquoise Red Sea. There’s or its location avails some of the best snorkeling and diving in Red Sea, while it’s Ecolodge offers a journey with our mother earth while our spa treats you in to serenity HISTORICAL BACK GROUND Rohanou, The name was inspired by the geographical location, with its steep historical reference to the old Egyptian name of the old caravan route between Luxor and Quseir, from the Nile River to the Red Sea. The Pharaohs used to travel on Rohanou to go to the port of Quseir which was the oldest port on the Red Sea and then to sail to India and other countries. Rohanou will be a perfect blend between Egyptian old cultural traditions and deep appreciation of its surroundings and its natural beauty, built with deep commitment to preserving the site’s natural beauty
I loved everything about Rohanou Beach Resort, the installations are fenomenal, you have shops inside the resort, so you don’t need to look around! Activists for people that like activities and not just seating by the pool. But even if you choose to seat by the pool is absolutely great 3 fantastic pools ! But the truth value of this place for me was the staff!!! Everyone member of the staff is always available to assist you in anything you need or make it happen, they go above and beyond to inshore you have everything you need. The price vs services offered is great! I chose breakfast & dinner and the price was very good! The variety of options you have in termos of food, they think about all tastes. I’m definitely returning next year !!

We were there in May 2022 and as stated in other reviews, the people are friendly, the room is clean and the snorkeling from the pier is amazing. There was only one unpleasant experience - when you get Pharaoh's revenge (classic stomach trouble). I tried to ask the receptionist for help but said they had no pills and I had to wait for the pharmacy to open. There is only one pharmacy in this resort, which opens at 10 am In order to buy pills (Antinal), you have to wait in cramps until it opens. Everyone knows what's the common Antinal price, but they will still want 10 times more because they see that you are very sick and have no choice. I don't understand it and it comes to me as a very amoral business. I have asked others and they have had a similar experience.

We stayed in Flamenco hotel before the Nile Cruise in January. The hotel is old enough and you can see it nearly everywhere. The staff makes this place. Coral reef on the hotel beach is the nicest thing about the hotel. Food was average but wasnt the worst.

An excellent location and diving center but terrible reservation personnel and terrible reception, rooms and food are below average. The hotel reservation in cairo was unprofessional and indecent taking our reservation (8 rooms), mr. Alaa was rude with 3 different persons of the group who tried to explain our needs. Reaching the hotel, all what we requested was disregarded, and the reception was not able to handle us as customers. The food was poor, especially the dessert. That’s said, I have to admit that the hotel location, the view, landscape and the diving center are impressive. It is a putty to see such great potential lost like that with bad service.

I chose this hotel in March after considering all the information on this and other hotels . I chose this one as there were several different restaurants and bars and also because it had snacks available as well as the buffet restaurant . I like to vary it and not eat in the same place all the time . We often just like a snack at lunch time . I visited here with my husband in November . We were shown to our room which was good large with a decent view and a decent enough bathroom . I expect to tip but didn’t like the fact that the staff wasn’t going to leave until he got one . Our cases ,just little hand luggage cases , were brought up by another guy who again wanted and asked for a tip . It was late at night when we arrived and hadn’t yet had chance to get ant currency changed. We hadn’t been left the two bottles of water that was advertised and as we were desperate for a drink after our long journey I went to reception to ask. After being asked ten times if I was sure we hadn’t been left any he finally agreed to provide them. I felt as if I was doing something wrong . Our room cleaner was very good and polite . The air on was stuck on 26* and it was hot . But despite reporting it numerous times nothing got done about it . I tried to book the Italian restaurant ,for our allowed one visit , the next morning for in four dAys time but told it was full. I complained at reception saying it was the first opportunity for us to book and it was one of the reasons I’d chosen the hotel . The manager was called and after phone calls and lots of discussion they said I could go back to the Italian and book . Even after all this the Italian manager was very rude and said it didn’t matter what reception had said I couldn’t book . We did manage to book the grill night restaurant which was nice. The only place to eat apart from one night was the buffet restaurant . The food was ok most of the time but was a bit repetitive and if you didn’t get in there as soon as it opened nothing got topped up so if you wanted to eat later in the opening times there was nothing left hardly . The restaurant staff were very nice . There were no snacks at the beach bar at all in fact the only snack was pancakes for one hour every day. The all inclusive drinks were ok , from the beach and pool bars in the day and just the lobby bar at night. The lobby bar staff were quite rude and often had arguments in front of guests . The hotel did have some nice areas, but non of them , such as the advertised Bedouin tent , beach tent, pergola bar , romantic tent tennis courts etc were open . I understand it is a quiet time but nowhere was it said when I booked it said this was seasonal. The pool area is nice as is the pool. The seawater garden lagoon would be nice but it was dirty and green. The beach is nice , quite small if there a lot of guests but clean . The beach staff and beach bar staff and towel staff were great very friendly and helpful. We tried to change money at reception but he could only change us £20 so useless. The luggage man did approach us for his tip more than once during our weeks stay , I found this quite intimidating . We do tip usually at the end of our holiday I don’t need pestering during my stay . The general areas of the hotel were well enough kept but all needed just a bit of updating. A massive problem for us was the amount of smokers even whilst we were eating . The no smoking bit is inside a small area so if you wanted to sit outside , either in the restaurant or bar you got totally smoked out. We were the only two English in the hotel so the entertainment did not cater for us at all . it was all in German so we couldn’t understand any of it . It was very poor except for the Egyptian night .it wasn’t possible to go outside the hotel without a long taxi ride as is was totally isolated . We didn’t expect the hotel to be five star but we did expect it to be as described with everything open . It is more like 2* . We wouldn’t go again . There are much nicer hotels in Egypt . The hotel need to improve massively and put more effort in if they want you to be their guest .
