It is rare you can think back on a three night stay and not find something that could be done better. This was one of those stays. All of the staff, service, amenities and food has been on point. It is a credit to the ever present General Manager and owners of the property who have managed to keep the property and team at such a high level. From checkin to the final breakfast (as I am writing) there was not an occasion for complaint. It was well worth the stay and will recommend the property to all of my friends on our return.

Welcome to Sokkhak Boutique Resort! Our elegant and secluded haven is the perfect escape – a tranquil oasis of fragrant tropical blooms and lush greenery laced around 12 spacious, luxurious suites, a sophisticated dining villa and a large saltwater pool. Located on the quiet and peaceful northern edges of Siem Reap town, we are less than a 10-minute drive or tuk-tuk trip from the gates of the Angkor Archaeological Park and the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat – making us the ideal base for you to explore the ancient ruins of the Khmer empire that draw millions of tourists each year. Inspired by the magnificent Angkorian temples that sit on our doorstep, the design of our properties beautifully blends the old with the new. Through our exquisite collection of antiques, we nod to our ancient ancestors of the Khmer Empire, yet through our striking collection of modern paintings and sophisticated architecture, we provide a platform for the country’s exciting, young contemporary artists.
Definitely the place to find peace, relax and get pampered! Gorgeously decorated big room, super comfortable bed and great toiletteries. The pool area is just amazing and also waking up by the roosters and the sound of the pool waterfall. Spa treatments were also delightful at a very reasonable price. The team was really friendly and extremely attentive, special thanks to Seam, Sophal and Tina Highlight of the stay was definitely my tuk tuk driver and guide Me Ner, @ner_main: thank you for making my visit to Siam Reap so memorable, always available, patient, great local restaurants proposals, translating and adapting the tours to show me the least touristic wild life!

You don’t just stay at Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang, you partake of a visceral experience that embodies all the senses and transports you back to a true Cambodian village atmosphere; one that is devoid of the noise and frenetic pace of the “Khet” Siem Reap. The feel of this burgeoning province, which can so quickly engulf the avid tourist, is left far behind as you cocoon yourself into the tranquil confines of an oasis like no other in Cambodia. Under-stated luxury beckons guests to unwind and completely recharge after a long day exploring the famous temples of the UNESCO heritage site of Angkor, the principle draw card for many savvy tourists from around the globe. Phum Baitang, “The Green Village” is simplicity with an eye on detail. It has to be experienced and not just read about. The property is comprised of 45 private villas designed to resemble Cambodian houses that are set amongst swaying plantations of verdant lemon-grass. There are two locally-inspired first class restaurants that proffer delicious meal choices that go far beyond the norm for what is considered typical Khmer cuisine. Bay Phsar, “Rice Market” and Hang Bay, “Rice Shop” both serve delicious meals using fresh organic herbs and vegetables from the resort’s own gardens. At the cigar & cocktail lounge one can delight in the pleasure of sipping a location- inspired cocktail while watching the sun slowly set behind the property’s magnificent 50m infinity pool. Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang is the embodiment of the ideal luxury travel destination that we all dream about. Whether young or old, a family or a couple, recent honeymooners embarking on a new life together or a single adventure-seeking traveler, this Cambodian village experience has something to offer all ages. Maybe it is an authentic cookery class for two, or perhaps an afternoon where the children can explore Cambodian culture through interactive games and puzzles, the resort has a plethora of wonderful activities to enrich the mind and engage the senses. For those seeking the relaxing ambiance of a first class wellness center, the Temple Spa truly is a sanctuary within this resort oasis. Seven spa treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, relaxation area as well as a yoga pavilion are all on offer. Therapies based on traditional Khmer rituals or massage techniques such as Tibetan, Swedish or Ayurvedic can all be performed by highly trained therapists. This ultimate luxury retreat nestled peacefully just a short drive from Siem Reaps’ international airport is bound to become one of the premier hotel destinations in Cambodia. As Leonardo da Vinci so aptly said six centuries ago, “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. This adage is reflected in all of the architectural and interior design details of Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang and certainly underpins this new development from Zannier Hotels.
From being picked up at the airport through to being dropped back, you will experience a warm, friendly, relaxing and rewarding time here. The facilities are excellent, choice wide and varied and everything oozes quality. My wife and I stayed in a Lodge facing the pool. The Lodges are airy, well equipped and all the little extra’s make your time in them that little bit more relaxing and special. It was but a short pleasant walk for breakfast fit for royalty with friendly faces and attentive staff. The food is excellent and choice very varied. Nothing was too much and our conversations with Giulio and his staff were varied, relaxed and fun. This resort is at the higher price end, but worth every penny. Enjoy the sunset bar with a cigar, good company and fantastic views or grab a tuk tuk and enjoy all that Siem Reap has to offer. We loved it here and hope to be back soon.

I stayed there last week, fantastic room, bright and large bathroom, 3 pools on my doorstep, lovely planting and good food. A really 'restful' time. Would for sure go again. A short tuk tuk ride away from town, so getting in and out was no problem either.

The Royal Sands Koh Rong is located on 550 meters of fine, white sandy beach near Sok San Village. Strategically located on the western side of the island, where the sunsets are the legendary. The 67 all villas resort. The resort incorporates the highest quality materials including teak, bamboo and natural stone, with many open-air venues from which to enjoy 180-degree views of the Gulf of Thailand and the legendary sunsets. It is “Beyond the ordinary to laid back luxury”.
This is an amazing property that is well run and with excellent, accommodating service. Almost every room (villa) has an ocean view. The drinks and food were very good. In particular we appreciated the fact that the breakfast buffet changed every day. Lots of activities if that's your thing although just now is the start of the rainy season which can limit things a bit. The staff was super helpful in arranging our COVID testing locally. The spa was fabulous especially the glass bottom where you would watch fish swimming! We just returned from a week in Cambodia. Tourism is down so go now and enjoy yourself and less crowds. Finish your stay here in paradise.

I booked this place via Agoda where it was advertised as a place with 5 star rating (the same rating is also seen at Booking.com) - the review is based on the 5 start expectations which this place was definitely not. The hotel I would say is less than 10 min drive from the airport and around the same distance to the city center. We were booking tuk-tuk via Grab to shuffle between city center and hotel for 2-2.5 usd. There is really nothing much close by. The hotel seems quite small, not that many rooms and the pool and the garden look way bigger on the pictures than they are in the reality. Rooms were huge, functional and average looking (the TV was super small). The only exceptional were perhaps beds which were big and super comfortable. The room was also full of mosquitos. There is also a very small siting area outside the room. We didnt enjoy the breakfast - it was ala carte with 2 main options (which if I remember correctly only differ in having a cereal vs eggs). You get 4 small pieces of fruits, breads (which didnt felt fresh), omelet (or other forms of eggs), 1 small sausage, 3 pieces of potato, coffee or tea and fruit juice from a box. You also get 2 super small, really bad tasting pancakes. Limited variety, very small portions and not great taste. The staff was super friendly and my friends also enjoyed the 3 h spa they booked (a discount is offered to the hotel guest). If the place was advertised as a 3 or 3.5 start hotel I would give excellent score (with average breakfast).

Though the hotel is a little dusty from renovations and getting back to normal after COVID, the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Beautiful pool (which I had to myself the whole time!) and clean and comfortable rooms. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
