A charming agriturismo with a beautiful view from the pool. The half-board meal is recommended. It is also possible to use the pool or the restaurant even if you are not staying at the agriturismo. A service very used by the locals. The olive oil produced at the site is very tasty.

Locanda del Barone, situated in an ancient village of the Municipality of Caramanico Terme, in the heart of Majella National Park at the foot of Mt. Morrone, offers restaurant service and tourist rural accommodation. Thanks to its position, it combines Caramanico mineral waters with the dry climate and the pleasant "mountain air" which is typical of the areas situated on the slopes of Majella, guaranteeing an ideal stay if you feel the need to regenerate.
Our wedding reception was held here and we decided to spend our first night as a married couple at the Locanda because it is so special. At the reception they pulled out all the stops for us and about 30 guests with a great menu and always terrific service. What a magnificent view, living in an ancient home updated with modern facilities. Very clean, affordable, and away from the bustling city life. The Locanda is located in the tiny village of San Vittorino perfectly situated 4 kilometres on the other side of the mountain from the bigger town of Caramanico.

In 2009 I converted the old family mill in a BeB. Everything has retained the style of the old house, the early 900. The times, the 60cm thick walls and the old mill on display in the garden ... The rooms, all with separate and independant entrance, facing towards the valley turns to mare. With Bath, LCD TV, Wi Fi, summer and winter conditioning, hair dryer, soap and shower gel and everything that helps to ensure a comfortable stay in an environment very authentic. Each has a table and chairs in the shade of the porch of confidential, to consume the breakfast buffet and enjoy moments of relaxation. Conventions for meals Willingness to organize any activities
Stayed two nights at the Inn. Spacious room with nice sized bath. The Inn was in walking distance to town. Although I did not have a car, I was able to walk to town for dinner and catch bus back to Pescara; however, a car would have given me more opportunity to explore this lovely area. Ludovica is a great hostess and very helpful with recommendations.

My cousins, who visit Pianella every year, reserved a room for me at Antica Pianella when I joined them for three days in Pianella to visit the village where my grandfather grew up. The property is lovely and very large. The rooms, mine and others I saw, were huge with very high ceilings. The bathroom was extremely large as compared to standard European hotel bathrooms. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast layout was impressive even though it was continental only. The property has a pool and an outdoor hot tub as well. It is located in the beautiful old part of Pianella and it's easy to walk to the restaurants and bars in the main part of the old town. I was truly amazed by the quality and size I received for what was a very reasonable price! I loved it and can't wait to go back!!

We stayed at La Conca all 13 of myself and my family. We could not ask for more, everything is thought of, even things we did not think of. The hospitality was awesome. The accommodations were spotless and everything seemed new, modern and spacious. It was modern and charming at the same time. For a group our size to be all together was a must. We were together but still had our privacy and no one was fighting for the bathroom or shower. We also felt we were safe and if we needed anything it was just a phone call as the owners live above the rental. They gave us great recommendations each day for our family taking into account the weather, those of different ages, etc. We had spectacular authentic country dinners cooked for us on several evenings we ate in. We all commented throughout different times of the day how fresh everything tasted. Those of us who had wine, never had a headache from it or made them tired as it does in the States. When we did not eat in, we were given a recommendation for a local restaurant which sat us all together, was delicious and catered to some of our dietary restrictions. We were able to do wash and hang our clothes outside. We took guided hikes that were absolutely breath taking and once in a lifetime memory for our group. We visited nearby towns and went to the local town church. Someone in the other reviews had mentioned that Majella was enchanting, I think that is a perfect description. Gabrielle ,Antonio and Antonio's parents were wonderful with our family. We had our own private time in the mornings, we made our own coffee or tea farm fresh eggs and had whatever wonderful home made delights was left for us when we awoke. We would plan our day and we were off. On one of our vacation days, it rained and we were offered a hands on cooking class with the local ingredients which the adults and children had a great time participating in. The cooking lesson was fantastic, as it came with a wealth of history of the region. We purchased the oil made from the region and two of their sauces to take home with us to recreate some of our fantastic meals. The location was perfect and views driving to and from were gorgeous. I plan on returning and staying once again with family and may even plan a separate trip with just couples.
