Our accommodations are fully equipped houses/condos located on Yelapa's main beach. Each house has at least one to two private bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, living room/dining room and bathroom. We have high speed internet in each room. Each house has a spectacular view of the Yelapa bay, the main beach and the river. We have a private beach with umbrellas and beach chairs for our guest. Yelapa has many great restaurants that offer a variety of foods from traditional Mexican and even some american treats. Some of the restaurants have live music one or more nights during the week. There are several grocery stores where you can buy most anything you might need to prepare your meals in our fully equipped kitchens. There are no cars in Yelapa so it is very tranquil. Yelapa has a variety of activities including full service aquatic adventures. Island tours, fishing, snorkeling and specialty tours can be arranged. There is horse back riding, kayak rentals, tours to beautiful waterfalls and much much more.
My husband and I had to change our vacation plans and by chance found this wonderful place to stay in Yelapa. We stayed in Casa Playa two bedroom suite right off the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Deck chairs and table were a great place to relax. The king bed was very comfortable with a soft bed and warm blankets. It gets cool at night so you don’t need AC there was a fan which worked well. The bedroom door has a lock so you can secure your self at night as the rest of the unit is open air. There is a lock box to secure your valuables and a locked door at street level. They provided drinking water and beach towels. The resort has its own beach umbrellas that are just for their guest. Which they monitor. The day boats arrive at about 11 and leave around 3 but they are on the other side of the beach. The food in town was amazing with large portions. We had a snack at one of the beach restaurant the day we arrived which was 4 huge coconut shrimp. The best. The best restaurant in town is Abuelos. There is a grocery store just down the hill. Bring good walking shoes We will definitely be back

We chose this place because of the location and we were not disappointed at all. Very quiet in comparison to any other place so far. The staff at check in were friendly and helpful, the rooms are very nice, traditional and well kept. The grounds and surrounding areas are maintained and immaculate with a great atmosphere to take a stroll. Best of all, the great dogs were kept in at night and not a rooster to be heard. This is value plus.

Casual and elegant hotel spa hotel in the mountais
Had a great time at san bernardo hotel. Stayed with my family for the weekend. The room was large and very clean and well decorated. The bed linens felt luxurious and delicious with dawn duvets and pillows. The first night we heard a noise in our room some kind of motor turning on and off, we told management staff and the quickly resolved it. I will make sure to stay there on my next visit to Tapalpa.

Privacy - Nature - Good Living - Good FoodYou can relax in any of our private beaches having a nice cocktail. Then go maraika restaurant and have a delicious meal, prepared with the freshest local produce an of the highest quality, by Casitas Maraika chef's. After lunch, sit on a Hammock and be mesmerized by the sunset. Go take a shower with natural spring water, and back to the Bar maraika for a dozen oysters in half shell from our oyster farm and a fresh lobster. Ahhh in bed with the lullaby of the waves and the fresh sea breeze.
We stumbled onto this place while hiking and what an oasis it was! Luis served us some of the best drinks and food ever in a magically beautiful setting. It's truly the epitome of paradise at Maraika. The service was top notch and very personable and accommodating. Luis was gracious enough to give us a tour of the 'casitas' and wow wow wow! The way this place is decorated and laid out will blow your mind!! Like, how is it this awesome. We will be back for sure, to stay, to celebrate, or just to visit our old friend, Luis

Lots of mosquitos, stove/oven not working properly. Stair loose, outside the building with loose handrail and missing first step, pretty dangerous. Hot water from shower sometimes works, sometimes you take a shower with cold water, even weather is cold in the mountain.

We stayed at Castillo Chulada in July 2020. You can not beat the location - right on the beach with an amazing pool. Close to the Crocodile preserve, restaurants and shops. If you’re thinking of visiting La Manzanilla, this is the place to stay!

Great hosts, clean cabanas with nice bathrooms with hot showers. All the amenities you need are at La Joya, coffee, fridge, kitchenette, with a small grocery store and beer store and several restaurants very close by. The hosts will make sure you have everything you need and provide you with great advice! At first step into Yelapa you realize it is a very rustic town with many roosters, horses, dogs and chackalackas. Make sure you wear your ear plugs at night and wear bug spray! Being in Yelapa is like being in REAL Mexico - much different from the touristy cities. You are truly in the jungle here and it is similar to camping in a wood cabin.

This simple but tastefully decorated ranch house rental is yours by the day or week. The six rooms date back to the 19th century with open beams, 4 ft. thick adobe walls and high ceilings. The fully equipped kitchen retains its rustic feeling while providing for the best preparation of Mexican home cooking. The inside patio provides many relaxing spaces and the wrap around veranda will seduce you with it's fantastic mountain views.
Volveremos!
