This is our second stay with family in a year, this time we came with young and elderly. We all enjoyed the spacious room, well kept facility and nice dining experience. The staff of restaurant was very helpful, on 18Dec2019, my dad got a choke while drinking juice, the restaurant staff swiftly offered him a glass of warm water, a very simple move has really expressed the great training among their staff. Well done.

You are paying the price for this amazing hotel. The price does include you breakfast and dinner. Even the food was amazing and more than you can eat. In room private onsen. Japanese style rooms so they set up the bed on the floor for you when your eating dinner. The views were beautiful from the window. Very quite, one of the best sleeps I have had in months. Very polite and friendly service and speak some English.

It offers 3 public hot-spring baths, free parking on site and free internet in public areas. The hotel is a 1-hour drive from the New Chitose Airport and a 2-hour drive from JR Sapporo station. A 2-way shuttle service is available with an advance reservation. Japanese-style guest rooms feature tatami (woven straw) flooring with traditional futon bedding. Each room is equipped with a fridge and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Sekisui Tei Noboribetsu offers both indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths. A Kaiseki (traditional Japanese multi-course) dinner is featured. This property is a ryokan, which is a type of traditional Japanese Inn.
Most disappointing ryokan experience. We stayed for 3 nights so we could maximize onsen time. However, the hotel is completely disorganized and gave no information about bath times. From 10am-2pm all baths are closed for cleaning. Leaving no advantage to stay here.

Checked in for a night's stay. Tatami room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was of a good size too. The onsen is one of the best, with pools of varying temperature. Love the public bath area as it seems very new. Breakfast served in the restaurant was not fantastic but the spread is considered adequate. As the hotel is near 'Hellvalley', expect sulpheric smell to linger in the air. All in, we had a wonderful stay.

The building has seen better days, and to say it’s shabby and outdated is an understatement. It’s gloomy and grim throughout. The only concession to the 21st century is an internet connection. The bed with its sharp springs poking through is one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had to sleep on. I presume that in the 1960s or 70s it was in the cheap-and-cheerful category, but now it’s neither. The only dinner they have on offer is a 3,000 yen buffet which is worth about 1,000 yen at most. (All restaurants in the town are still closed due to Covid.) I’d booked for two nights, but checked out after one. Noboribetsu Onsen itself is a charmless, concrete place appealing mainly to the Japanese over-70s, but if you do decide to come here, try a different lodging.
