With a little bit of this and a little bit of that all mixed together with flair and panache, beautifully vibrant New Orleans has made the most of marks left by whomever was calling the shots during whatever era over the past few centuries. Hardly a hodgepodge, the result of such a distinctive blend of cultures is an enchanting cityscape, a set of unique traditions that continuously delight the world, and a jaunty way of living that must be experienced to be appreciated.

This hotel is in the ghetto. Prostitution and drugs on Chef Menteur Hwy. I made the mistake of booking it because of the four star rating and could not believe it when I drove up to it at 1am for an overnight stay. This place is not safe for families or vehicles. We didn’t even go into our room after looking for a spot to park. Drove to the Double Tree and payed $30 more per night. Called the front desk and told them to check us out. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place. Honestly I would rather sleep in my vehicle at a Walmart parking lot. How it has a high rating is beyond my understanding. Do not book this hotel.

A boutique hotel experience. Not a ton of frills, but great air conditioning, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, and very picturesque common areas. The staff is incredibly attentive and kind! They went above and beyond to be accommodating to my questions and requests. A $10 Uber ride to the French Quartet and $15 Uber ride to the Garden district. Very close to Ruby Slipper and a Whole Foods. They provided free coffee and bottled water and there is a vending machine in the lobby for snacks.

This is far and away the nastiest hotel I've ever seen in my life. Room wasn't clean when we checked in, mostly the floor and was very upset that there were drugs in our room. They didn't even make our beds or clean the room during our stay. Found cockroaches in the bathroom. Pool was closed for cleaning and probably has been since 2010. Staff doesn't care about anything. Extremely loud all night long. It was so horrible I went to another hotel even though they wouldn't refund me for leaving early. Went back just to check out because they wouldn't let me check out early. I've never heard of anywhere doing this. Plus they haven't even returned the security deposit. Please avoid this place at all cost. I hope the city condemns this place, it would improve the entire area.

Motel 6 New Orleans is less than 5 miles from downtown. It is centrally located near casinos, shopping, museums, and the famous French Quarter. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, truck parking, coin laundry facility, and a meeting room. This is a smoke-free property.
Room 108 Area seems "shady" but nice large room. Some electrical outlets not working. Upper door lock broken. Bathroom faucet not properly installed, whole faucet loose. Security door near office works, but other exterior doors have non-working locks permitting non-guests to enter hallway accessing rooms. Numerous marijuana parties in rooms. Will not be back.

DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR ENERGY!!!!!!The managers limited English is the first problem. secondly it is disgusting. Mold and mildew everywhere. The refrigerator looks like it hosted dead bodies. This is a place where prostitutes see their clients. Not something you want your kids to experience. We came for Mardi Grais and my kids were exposed to a 3rd world country!
