Eden Village Motel & Cottages is located in Bar Harbor, on Mount Desert Island, just 5 minutes from the main entrance to Acadia National Park. Set back from Route 3, Eden Village is comprised of 11 cottages and a 10 unit motel building and cottages set upon 25 areas of carefully landscaped property. The property features its own private pond with free pedal boats, fishing, basketball, a playground and a private 1 mile nature walk.
We very much enjoyed our stay here! The property is beautifully maintained with a playground and cute lake, and our kids enjoyed the paddle boat and watching the mama and baby ducks. The cabins were stocked with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the fresh air on the screened porch. The property is convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor (~10-15 min drive down the road) and the mainland. The only downside was a bit of noise from the road. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

A short walk to the famous footbridge and the whole town is there to explore. I'll definitely plan a third visit if my travels plans carry me in that direction again.

The Milestone is a perfect combination of hustle, bustle and relaxation. Our rooms are close to the beach, restaurants and shops, while being set far enough away for you to enjoy the peace and quiet. Lush grounds, affordable rooms and excellent service will make you feel like you're at a five star resort without the expensive price tag. Enjoy our top notch facilities like the fitness center and heated pool. Or, venture out and take a quick stroll to the village and restaurants. If you'd like to enjoy the area's sites and scenary, simply hop on the town's seasonal trolley for a quick, easy ride.
We have been going to the Milestone for the last 20 years without any problems (even through cancelling). During the pandemic, this property was sold to new owners. We have tried to cancel our booking for May 2022. The first night has been paid by credit card and it is impossible to get refunded as we should. We called the owner twice while she said that the refund is refused by our bank. She said she will call us back, but never did. We now have to complain directly at hotels.com and they will help us. The new owner is very suspicious. We will definitely look for a new place for our futur travelling in ogunquit, probably Juniper.

We recently stayed at Glen Cove Inn, excellent stay! Our room was clean, comfortable and roomy with a private deck. Bathroom even had a lot of room with super plush towels. Continental breakfast on the main deck was fabulous - homemade items and a full assortment of breakfast items (and coffee/tea all day!). The check-in was easy, very hospitable and very pleasant people getting you checked in. There was also a firepit and chairs for guests to warm up. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Glen Cove Inn - thank you for making our stay wonderful!

Glen Cove Picnic Area is a two minute walk from the motel. Designated Smoking Areas are located well away from guest rooms and the outdoor heated pool, no smoking is permitted close to guest rooms or in the pool area. Full of New England charm!!
This is an old style motel and I give it 5 stars because it was in a great location, incredibly clean, reasonably priced places to eat nearby, and close to the local great sights. Our room was large and comfortable. the bathroom was updated and again, perfectly clean. We had a very good breakfast w hard boiled eggs, several types of breads and breakfast rolls, fruit, coffee (very good by the way), etc. We had a very pleasant sitting area in our room and ate at the table in front of the window. We were as satisfied with this room as high end big chain hotel rooms. In fact, maybe we were more happy bec we got so much more value for our dollar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there in Sept, but the pool was still filled w clean blue water from the summer season. It looks like a very pleasant place to be in warmer weather. We had a frig, microwave, coffee maker and small chest of drawers for a countertop. I would definitely come back here. And in fact have given this name to friends who want to visit this area. There is no better value in this region, unless you want to pay for water views - which might be worth it as this part of Maine is spectacular!

Brown's Wharf Inn Hotel, Marina and Restaurant is located directly over the ocean on beautiful Boothbay Harbor. All rooms have balconies and a commanding view of the harbor, the ocean and boating activities. Cable TV, telephone, refrigerators, coffee makers, irons, in-room safes, Wi-Fi, use of computer, park and lock parking. Restaurant has been owned and operated by the Brown Family for the past 74 years, offering a full menu but specializing in local fresh seafood. Inside-outside dining with beautiful sunsets.
When you look at the outside of this hotel, it seems to be a little tired looking. The rooms, however, are fantastic! So much room, great views, comfortable bed and pillows, and very clean! The bathroom was a bit small, but adequate. Breakfast was yogurt and muffins and fruit, but enough. Coffee was good. Staff was extremely friendly. Definitely a place to consider staying at when in town.

5 miles south of Camden and set a top a small ledge overlooking Penobscot Bay, the Ledges is a classic Maine motel with panoramic ocean views. The property is nestled at the foot of a cove on 9 oceanfront acres with 900 feet of shoreline. Our hillside location overlooking the bay offers guests the perfect vantage point to spot tall-masted schooners, sleek yachts cruising the bay, and lobster boats hauling traps right off our shore.
We were very pleased with the spacious, airy room with a beautiful view. All was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast room was bright with expansive views as well, plus the added bonus of a deck with umbrella tables. Check in was friendly and easy. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked lovely. I recommend this property as a great value.
