Exterior of hotel was nice, view from the room was also nice. Parking was big. The problem was the room itself - old furniture, old table, old TV. It would not bother me so much but there was also this stale smell in the room that comes from old furniture and dust. Room was cold, there was AC unit inside but heating it with AC would only worsen the smell and dustiness. Bathroom was to say decent. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was OK at best - some croissant from supermarket and some supermarket cake - I missed some "proper" food - cheesse, salamies, ham, eggs. Breakfast hall was also without stuff present, they offered us coffee 15 minutes already into breakfast. Dinner was good, I liked it. House wine was also nice. The best part of the stay was actually dinner. Stuff was not very frendlly or helpfull. Did not speak English and did not want to help us with invoice - the price was OK but we needed invoice made in a different way which they make us in all other Italian, except here, hotels without problem durring few minutes.

Stayed here one night during our snowtrip in this region. The owner & staff were very friendly. They served a proper breakfast with good Italian coffee and espresso. Real value for money, would recommend if you're planning a trip in this region.

Recently by hazard we did select the Obereggen region as an alternative for our annual Ski,holiday in Austria. Finally we did choose Das Royal accommodation as the price offer and close location to the ski infrastructure was present. Our stay at the Hotel Das Royal has been extra-ordinary well. Magnificent large and modern rooms with view evening sunset and mountains, great covered parking in the garage for our vehicle, excellent kitchen and good food, complete wellness offer (swimming pool, sauna), professional reception desk no question hard enough to get responded right away.. really top-classs level in all possible ways. Most of all however we appreciated the most the very warm Family approach by the hotel owners (Wiendenhofer ladies), the kitchen- and bar staff, and many other poeple working hard behind the scenes to please the visitors 24/24 7days a week. Top class experience and surely a hotel which played a significant factor in our holiday stay. Family Benaets-Swennen Belgium

We stayed here for one night when we visited our friends. It is a very nice hotel with nice rooms. And a good bed. However it was quite warm and the airconditioning didn't seem to work. And there were people on terrace who were talking quite loud. That was a shame because the hotel itself was really nice

The Motel Total is situated in Pisogne on the Lake Iseo, near Brescia and Bergamo. Cyclists and people searching for quiet and beautiful scenery will find the area (Pisogne, Lovere, Costavolpino) an ideal place to spend a relaxed holiday. We stayed there over the August bank holiday and were not blessed with good weather, however Pisogne is a lovely place nevertheless and we still enjoyed our time, but as far as our accommodation is concerned, our stay was far from welcoming. We were given a room above the restaurant’s kitchen so the smell from the frying and cooking would go straight up to our room and clothes smelled awful, also the room faced a building site so unkempt that, because of the heavy rain , it looked like a tragic puddle of goo. We barely had room to move from one bed to the other, the wardrobe door could not even be opened fully cause it’d bang against the end of the bed. The furniture was quite old and shabby, a poster with a view to New York went all around the bedpost, giving it a trailer park feel that I will never forget. We were blessed with only one socket and one bulb in the room and two clothes hangers, but when we asked to be given a few more to hang our clothes and if it was possible to get a multi plug , we were told by the concierge that “he knew we were going to be a pain in the neck”. He later came up and brought us what we had asked though. The loo (sorry but there is no way I could call that a bathroom of a 60euro a night room) was very small and leaking from the bidet, also it needed the constant use of the fan or smell would come from the WC. The single beds were quite comfortable and we never had trouble sleeping, but the noise from the other doors banging as guests left their rooms was sometimes a bit loud. TV was there, a large screen too but only provided Italian speaking channels. Breakfast room was not really a breakfast room, but more of a cubicle next to reception, four cramped tables next to the forever smoking concierge. Its included in the room rate but believe me it’s a joke. I have not seen such a bad and poor offering anywhere I have been, not even in some remote village on the border with Myanmar would a guest house serve such a sad breakfast. Croissant or Pain au chocolat straight from the plastic bag, some cheap sugary yogurts and dry salty snacks. Oh yes there was some very synthetic looking fruit juice which I did not dare try. The Motel Total boasts a swimming pool but beware, you’ll have to go around a skip and some rubbish to reach it. We saw it just after the storm and the place was appalling, but in good weather conditions, it’s actually not too bad, but its right behind a petrol station, so you figure it out. Because the weather was so bad and spending time in the room was like asking for depression to kick in, we opted to shorten our stay and also managed to scrap off a discount considering the circumstances. Overall it was an experience that I would rather not repeat. I don’t have idea on how it got three stars as I would barely give the hotel max two
