Seasons Inn Traverse City is located in the heart of Traverse City. This hotel is within a short distance to North Western Michigan College, Cherry Land Mall, and Munson Medical Center. Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance, or a short drive from the hotel. 21 years or older to Check In.
I will give this hotel high ratings for cleanliness and for some of their recent updates but overall it still has a long way to go. A definite budget hotel and I am sure there are better options in the area. Internet service was slow and sporadic. Outlets were lacking. Conflicting information received from front desk staff. We were told at check in that the room would be serviced the following day, waste baskets emptied, towels refreshed, etc. On returning to our room we noticed this hadn't been done. Not a problem as this seems to be the new norm but when going to the desk to obtain the necessary items for the next morning we were told that housekeeping only enters the room if someone is there. What?! We are supposed to stay in our rooms until housekeeping arrives instead of touring this beautiful area of Michigan. Just be honest and say that if anything is needed for the following day to stop by the desk and pick it up. Not the best experience but the room was clean and that is our number 1 priority. Therefore I have given them a 3 rating.

What a gem! We were looking for a nice quiet place for our anniversary getaway and this was perfect! The cabin was a adorable, so much character and the decor is perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We look forward to coming back again!

Friendly service and a beautiful beach area and also a lovely area to sit and eat, play cards, etc. Perfect location. The room was small but very pretty and well maintained. It had a very nice fridge and microwave and a very helpful shelving unit.

The Grand Traverse Snowmobile Trail runs practically trough the Motels back yard! Close to Center ICE hockey rink for skating and spectating as well. We stayed overnight on our way out of town-TC and the gentleman who checked us in was super friendly! We travel with a small dog and they are pet friendly. Our room was pretty large with 2 double beds, the decor was pretty woodsy with pine beds and accessories. The front desk does close after the last people check in so there is no one around. There are a few rooms that are rented on a weekly/monthly basis so the traffic noise is pretty noticeable. It had snowed pretty heavily a couple of nights before we got there and the parking lot was plowed but a bit slippery in spots if you were walking your dog etc...it does get very busy traffic in the morning so leave early if you can! There is very limited places to eat in Kingsley and take-out is your only option currently. The gas station next door has a small pizza/sandwich shop so no need to go too far.

My credit card was compromised and charges were made on it in Traverse City when I wasn't even in the city.....I am a Canadian resident. I made a reservation and gave my credit card information to simply hold a room 7 weeks in advance of my arrival. After 2 days, I decided to cancel my reservation and unbeknownst to me, the manager had run my credit card for the full amount of the room WITHOUT my knowledge or consent. A refund was issued BUT within those 2 days, my credit card was used to purchase items and more attempts were made for unsuccessful purchases! I have spent hours trying to rectify this situation and this has been a massive inconvenience to me. The illegal charges stemmed from this location. This whole situation could have been avoided if the manager had not run my card in the first place.....again .....WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!!!

Had reservation and when I tried to check in the manager jumped in her car and drove away leaving me stranded without access to the room I PAID FOR. I would not recommend - drive up the road to Knights Inn.

On August 19, 2021 I wrote an online customer complaint to Wyndham, which was never responded to. On July 28, 2021 we stayed at the Travelodge By Wyndham in Traverse City, Michigan. Unfortunately, when we woke up in the morning, our shower didn't work. Our refrigerator had a vibrating noise throughout the night, but we wouldn't have even mentioned it but for the shower not working. I mentioned these things to the manager in the morning and she didn't seem that concerned. No "I'm sorry", no real caring. We were not looking to receive anything for free. I am a Wyndham Rewards member since 2012 . I am very unhappy at the quality of the room I received. We are very easy people to please. We need a shower. This is not what we expect, especially since our room was north of $ 250. I am hoping that Wyndham and please contact this hotel to convey the proper way to at least feign caring when someone has had a problem with a room - especially a major one, like not having a shower.
