Deep within Africa’s finest game reserve, our Safari Lodge welcomes you to a sanctuary of Four Seasons comfort. Get up close and intimate with lions, leopards and elephants – yet always feel safe and pampered. Experience thrilling Serengeti game drives and rare opportunities to connect with the local people and culture. Then return to the Safari Lodge, where our 77 secluded guest rooms, elegant spa and infinity pool promise a luxurious respite during your African adventures.
If you are coming to the Serengeti and staying at the Four Seasons, you are probably looking for a Four Seasons experience, which this property certainly delivers. It's a standard luxury experience - spacious rooms, American-ized food, and good service. If you are looking for a truly once-in-lifetime experience, I would recommend staying at a boutique or tented camp experience. Rooms at the Four Seasons are very comfortable and the view of the plains from each room is incredible. We saw lions, zebra, warthogs, and baboons straight from our window - incredible. Hard to say if the location is good or not since the Serengeti is so large and you will spend lots of time driving on any game drive. Food and service were what you would expect. The one thing I always dislike at hotels like this is the tipping culture. It's very unclear how tips should be handled and it makes every interaction with staff feel transactional. I'm in the middle of the Serengeti - I didn't bring a ton of small dollar bills with me and I don't want to think about tipping for service every minute of my stay. The hotel should just clarify upfront that you can tip en masse at the end or just include tips in the cost of staying. If you're looking for a familiar, luxury experience, this is great. If you want something unique or with more local culture, you can do better.

Inspired by a traditional African village this extraordinary lodge presents a vibrant design concept rich in indigenous craft and cultural detail that is without compare. Set high on a hill with rolling visas over the teeming plains of a natural amphitheater it also enjoys a ringside seat for the greatest show on earth, the annual migration of the wildebeest.

With seven private tents & one private tented family Villa, Asanja Africa Camp is very exclusive, providing exemplary service. Each luxury private tent represents a special Maasai Ceremony and has a story to tell. The tents are spacious and have a private verandah overlooking the scenic views of the Serengeti. All the tents have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Despite having the same design, each tent is distinct and unique. The tents are personalized and embellished in African style and culture. Asanja Africa Camp is located in South Central Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. The area is best known for its enormous herbivore migration, led by over a million zebra and wildebeest, a vast voracious lawnmower which in turn provides sustenance for a glut of predators.
We Had a wonderful stay at asanja Serengeti and a wonderful experience . The tents are very nice ! And the staff was wonderful , they were very friendly and very good workers. And the cook was very sympathetic and the food was real good ! You have to come to this hotel if you have the opportunity only to meet the staff and sleep in that wonderful hotel !!!

Stayed here for two nights - the rooms were really nice however no hot water either day/night (they tell you it's only until 9pm but doesn't matter what time of day for our room this didn't work) and infact the morning we left no water at all for hand washing, toilet flushing or showers. The food wasn't the best and didn't match the standard of the rooms in terms of luxury particularly for breakfast where they made sure to give us a teaspoon of beans. I understand this is remote venue and some flexibility should be given however this is not a budget accommodation and facilities should match the high price tag. One night we were there we didn't even get a choice of food for dinner it was just one thing on the menu that they just brought us without choice. It was clear the owners were visiting and that all the efforts were put on them and not the guests. The staff seemed much friendlier on the first night than the second. We were only one of two or three groups there at the time and another group requested to leave. The bare bones of this place are great but given the price tag this place needs to improve a few things before matching up to others. At the time of booking our tour we were given a choice of two accommodations and we choose this over the Serena hotel as it looked more interesting however I can't help but think some more honest reviews would have been useful to read about this place before making the decision.

Located outside Serengeti National Park’s Ikoma Gate with endless views across the plains. Built of local materials and using solar power and hot water in the rooms, this lodge is unique to the area. Reception, lounge, bar and dining incorporate a natural rocky outcropping (kopje) into the design. Fifteen creatively designed large canvas rondavels reveal the romance of a tent with the security of a permanent structure. Each bathroom has an outdoor stone shower. Family rooms are in a ‘stone house’ with equally impressive views.
This trio was beyond our expectations, the rooms were huge and very unique, stunning view, the staff were beyond amazing !! Waited for us when we arrived and definitely felt a VIP treatment :) Our safari guide Walter was the best !!!

The Serengeti Camp is one of the most amazing, memorable stays I've ever had. The accommodation is comfy and feels safe, the food is restaurant quality but the stand out part was the staff. Friendly, welcoming and helpful, I've never met such genuinely pleasant staff. I didn't want to leave at the end! A truly outstanding stay which I cannot recommend highly enough for anyone looking to stay in the Serengeti! Thank you for such an incredible stay! 10/10

The best views in the Serengeti, perched on top of the hills with vistas in every direction. Settle in and enjoy the iconic setting with our wonderful, personalised service, enjoy a dip in our pool whilst watching the glorious sunset over the mountains. During the migratory months tens upon thousands of wildebeest and zebra can be viewed from our restaurant area making their yearly journey.
The staff goes above and beyond. We had a birthday and they really put on a wonderful celebration. And they all llined up and waved goodbye on our last day. Good food, friendly staff. Best views and lodging ever!

Seronera Wildlife Lodge is artfully constructed round a rocky outcrop from glass and wood elements, perfectly blending into its surrounding; next to the lodge, several waterholes attract day and night the most amazing animals, providing a unique opportunity for a close encounter with the so called Big Five. The Lodge is only 5 minutes far from the departing point of the hot - air balloon safaris, which offer a thrilling birds-eye wildlife perspective of the vast plains of the Serengeti.
Came here for my 30th birthday. Location was ok. Didn’t want to camp out in the wild so I chose somewhere with a bed and four walls (I know I know!). The booking turned sour when they claimed they did not see my reservation or money paid even though I did it on hotels.com AND PROVIDED A RECEIPT. They literally called the safari driver I had mid safari in the serengeti asking to speak to me several times. Driver had to pull over and waste everyones precious time because the incompetent owners did not know how to pull up emails on their end. The next day they continued to harass me. To the extent that my safari group of 6 was detoured to some business complex in the middle of Arusha where some female “manager” wanted to review my booking details. Can you imagine being in a foreign country and having to go to some hectic part of town into some office??? It felt like something out of a movie where if I didn’t pay AGAIN I would be held captive and couldn’t leave Africa. Very scary and left a horrible taste in my mouth. After literally raising my voice and getting mildly loud with the lady telling her I would not allow her or the company to extort me she finally let me go. I was thankful I had a flight out the next morning because who knows what they would have attempted. Long story short DO NOT BOOK HERE. The middle eastern manager is also a con artist and is the one who instructed them to hunt my safari driver and I down until they saw “proof of payment” even though it was sent via email THREE TIMES. Bed was hard as a rock. No hot water (no big deal but don’t claim “luxury”). Food was decent but standard chicken fish fare. The night I stayed it was only 2 other people there. This place can accomodate about 100 guests. I wonder why it was empty (no I don’t). Other hotels deserve the business in these hard times but not them. I even requested a refund due to the hell I went through and they ignored my emails and requests. Guess they didn’t get those either *shrugs*

Located in the secluded area of Turner, with commanding views of endless savanna, just 20 km from Seronera Airstrip. Under canvas, seasonal and intimate, Pumzika Safari Camp Serengueti captures the essence of classic mobile tented safaris, reminiscent of safaris in the old days. Eleven tents offer spacious and unpretentious luxurious accommodation, blending elegant simplicity with a laid back style. A close-knit team of friendly staff provides a discrete service.
Daniel and the staff were friendly and professional from the time we arrived until the time we left. They anticipated our needs and everything ran on time from the 6am bucket showers to the meal times. Our first morning as we were preparing for our shower we heard grunting outside of our tent. Walking out into the open top shower area there was a large bull elephant grazing less than 100 meters away silhouetted by the rising sun. Wow. At breakfast another elephant walked right beside (3-4 meters away) the dining tent as we watched and took many pics and videos. The sunsets were beautiful and the staff were great. Power is solar and limited. Make sure you plug in your devices to charge in the dining tent as soon as you return at the end of the day since there is no power available in the morning until sun comes up.

This charming, secluded, luxurious campsite exceeded all expectations! Herri and the entire staff were friendly, professional and catered to our every need. The two guides, Livingston and Godlisten were knowledgeable and fun to spend each day with. We saw so many animals and learned about each one. Each night Samuel, a quiet and watchful Maasai led us safely to our tent. It's hard to even call it a tent... didn't feel like that at all. The food was beyond gourmet. On the last night we were driven off site to an outdoor Tanzanian feast. We still can't believe all they were able to accomplish in the middle of the Serengeti! We arrived as strangers and left as family.
