On the south side of Jeju Island, Seogwipo offers swanky hotels, rugged cliffs, popular beaches and gorgeous waterfalls. The volcanic-rock cliffs located around Jungmun beach are a wonder. Make sure to visit the viewing platform to take in the spectacular vistas. A coastal city, Seogwipo's many activities revolve around the ocean, including diving and submarine tours. Many of the restaurants specialize in fresh, local seafood. There's also much to see and do inland, including temples, art museums, amusement parks and botanical gardens.

The best place to stay when you want to take a rest and forget everyday worries. The resort focuses on tea ceremonies and medidation, so instead of it being a regular hotel, it is more of a place for healing and self discovery.

I visited Jeju with my family in September 2016. Staying 2 night in Jeju Turning Point Pension. It was a serene and peaceful village. Although it is far from city (Seoqwipo), it is the best place if you prefer a tranquility. Tourist attraction such as Manjanggul Cave, Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seojipkoji is within 15 KM from the place.

The best place to stay at Seongsan with the superb host! We totally enjoyed our stay in this place. Even though we just had a quick one night stay but it’s worth it. The host Mr. Kim were beyond expectations! He is so nice and he even gives us a bag full of tangerine during our check in. He gives the best accommodation to us during our stay. Highly recommended and will surely stay here again in the future! The place is very near to Seongsan Ilchulbong just approximately 3 minutes away.

This is a lovely guesthouse, and the owner kim is super helpful and really friendly! Cool rooftop area to hang, rooms are really cosy and the breakfast is a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend this guesthouse and area to stay in is perfect and can walk to atleast 3 waterfalls from here, bus stop is also close by! Thanks for having us!

This pension was a very nice place to spend the night. The view of Seongsan Ilchubong was absolutely unbeatable, and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was really peaceful. The bed was comfy, bathroom was all nice and functional, and there was ample space for all of our luggage. The pension is within walking distance of a lot of bars, restaurants (including a mind-blowing fish and chips place), convenience stores, etc., not to mention less than 5 minutes walk to Seongsan Ilchubong itself -- perfect if you want to go for a hike! One thing to note is that the owners want you to contact them 30 minutes before check-in so they can be ready; as I have a Korean phone number (and know some Korean), I was able to receive their text message and contact them easily. People traveling without a Korean phone number or stable wi-fi may want to make arrangements to make sure they can check in easily. Also, one more word about the staff: They were not fluent in English but did speak it well enough to communicate, and they were very friendly, even offering us coffee on the way out. They also translated their "house rules" into English so we could understand it easily and not have any questions. I applaud their effort for non-Korean customers! To sum up, if you want to hike Seongsan Ilchubong, grab a drink, and be able to walk very conveniently back to the hotel, Seongsan Flow is a very good choice.
