Located in the historic center of Tomar, a building from the end of XIX sec , fully restored with contemporary design, provides an excellent starting point for exploring the city of Tomar . From the balconies and windows , you get a stunning perspective on the Nabao River and Castle of Tomar . Each of the 12 rooms at Thomar Story, sharing with guests a bit of the history of our city , either in battle of Templar Knights, in charge of Trays or the magic of the Convent of Christ . All rooms are equipped with modern equipment , like bathrooms with suspended shower , air conditioning , LCD TV and wi - fi . We have also offered rooms with kitchenette.

Reviewed By ThecatsmanI had the utter pleasure of staying here for ten days, the place is spotless and the service seamless but credit must be given to the most wonderful staff I have ever had the pleasure to deal with, from the minute I entered till the time I left, conscientious, obliging, friendly, efficient, funny etc, I would recommend staying here to anyone. A big thanks to the staff who made all of this possible. Barbara Lopes, Soraia Alves and last but not least, Gisela Silva.

Zona calma com pouco movimento. Nada a apontar em termos de limpeza. O atendimento à chegada foi profissional e atencioso.

Fátima GuestHouse is located less than 1-minute walking from the Apparitions Chapel and Basilica of Holy Trinity.
Shower very unpleasant.
Reviewed By missindyThe location can’t be bettered; as close to the sanctuary as it’s possible to get, surrounded by restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the bus depot. The decor and furnishings are minimal, so there’s nowhere for dust and dirt to gather, and the room appeared clean. The shower however was a different story. The sealant was black mouldy and the door fittings were full of gunk and grime. It’s been a long time since the shower was cleaned thoroughly. Really disgusting.

Reviewed By SVTortugaQuinta da Alcaidaria Mor offers authentic charm, comfortable accommodations, and easy access to many of Portugal’s outstanding heritage sites (Convento de Cristo, Alcabaca, Batalha, and more) plus areas of natural and cultural appeal. The estate has been in the host’s family for centuries, and he offers terrific insights and recommendations for area attractions. Breakfast is outstanding, and we enjoyed seeing the farm’s blueberry fields and friendly resident cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, and sheep. There is plenty to see and do year round for couples, families, or small groups, and we plan to return soon.

Quinta da Eira Velha is a Rural Tourism cottage located on the banks of Castelo do Bode Lake, in the heart of the rural village of Aldeia do Mato. The Casa de Campo uses the facilities of a traditional restored familiar house from the beginning of the 20th century, retaining many of its original features, whilst providing the comfort of modern day living.

Reviewed By Daniela BIt has been completely restoured mixing Portoughese and shabby style with a big Italian influence. The combinaton of materials as old wooden furniture and floors, linen textile creates a magic atmophere, very relaxing and comfortable. I enjoyed the countryside and the lake from the cousy garden with the old Eira. Breakfast was SUPER, too, croissant, homemade jam and fragrant bread cooked in the ancient oven of the house. Strategic position for discovering the lake, Fatima, Tomar, on bike, too! Last but not least the fine and polite owner .

Reviewed By oliver eMy wife and I stayed here for 7 days and had the most wonderful time. The accommodation is very lovely and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and very helpful in every way possible. This was one of the most enjoyable holidays we have ever had. We can’t recommend this enough!

Embrace it. The Casa do Mundo is located between the Serra do Montejunto and the Natural Park Serras de Aire e Candeeiros, near small villages, vineyards, olive trees besides major tourist attractions.

Reviewed By 171sbWe had a wonderful time in Casa do Mundo. The beautiful villa is in a very relaxing luxurious setting with free views and lots of privacy. The outdoor area is a dream, with infinity pool, outdoor kitchen and lots of secluded places to relax or meditate around the house and in the vast garden. Inside is fully decorated intended to soothe and relax, we loved the “View Chair” :). We recharged the (mental) batteries in this peaceful place and did day trips to Lisbon, Nazaré and Foz d’Arelho which are easily within reach. The owners were super welcoming and warm and gave delicious fruits and vegetables from the garden. We’ll defintively come again!

Reviewed By Malc335Heartwarming Latin welcome for an overnight stay. Spotless, organised and homely with attention to detail with thoughtful touches. The salt water pool was divine. Lovely outside and inside areas to relax. Breakfast was like that upon our special request. Friendly warm hospitality. Just the place for us, peaceful country setting with clean down to earth functional facilities. Super WiFi signal. Fair value for money. Coming back for extra nights and recommend.
