My sister and I had a memorable stay at Da Vinci Lodge. We arrived early in the morning for a quick nap before our gorilla trek. After the gorilla trek, we were pleasantly surprised by a foot massage by Eli and Mogesha. Our room was heated by an in room fire place and our beds had heat packs which made us sleep well. The next day, we went to see golden monkeys and our room was decorated with flowers upon our return as we packed our bags. Our delicious meals had large portions. Thanks to Tony, Eli, Mogesha and the rest of the staff for a great experience at Da Vinci.

New Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Walking distance from the town. Beautiful gardens to relax in. Breakfast included. Linen included, hot water, comfortable lounge and dining room. Beautiful birds can be seen in the garden. Airport or bus station pick ups can be arranged. Tours of the local sights can be arranged on request.
Highly recommend Volcano View! We spent a weekend in Musanze trip with a group of friends, and arranged a tour with Isaac on other's recommendation. He really is a great host and guide. Isaac picked us up from the bus station, organised food to be delivered and made a fire on a cold evening. He arranged our trip to Volcanoes National Park perfectly, drove us there, waited there for us, and bought us home, arranging for our muddy clothes and shoes to be washed. The following day we had a tour of Musanze, with a beautiful walk through the village, a swim in a waterfall, a boat tour, fish braai (BBQ) for lunch. Each part of the day was great, and Isaac shared lots of information. Isaac went above and beyond in making our stay memorable and comfortable. We returned the following weekend to stay at Volcano View with my mum. We did not do a tour, but used Isaacs house as a base to return to Volcanoes park and explore Musanze. There is lots to see in the little town (recommend the art galleries and coffee shops!). Isaac's home is clean, tastefully decorated, and his garden has lots of flowers and birds. His staff are helpful, kind and professional. Breakfasts are delicious with lovely fresh fruit! His accommodation is good value for money. Thank you Isaac and team!

Rushel Kivu Lodge is a bed and breakfast guest house located on the shores of Lake Kivu, nestled between palm trees and a sprawling coffee plantation. Sleep in Rushel Kivu Lodge is the most profound and enjoyable as you have never experienced, nurtured by the lake’s waves and only interrupted by bird songs in the morning.
The usual wonderful stay was spoiled this time by other camping guests being allowed to play loud music. That ruined the tranquility of the place. Disappointing. Management, please note and choose what kind of resort you want to be/become.

Beautiful, peaceful resort situated on a hill looking over Lake Ruhondo. Opened in 2012, Ruhondo Beach Resort has 10 bungalow-style rooms, all with private bath and hot water. Enjoy local food in the restaurant while taking in the beautiful landscape - volcanoes, lake and large lakeside garden filled with birds. Other activities include swimming, canoeing, fishing and boating. Apart from rooms, Ruhondo Beach Has nice equipped tents in the nice garden. The hotel also hosts different events in its garden and at the beach next to the lake
Had a great two-night stay at Ruhondo Beach Resort. Pros: - The location is excellent (right on Ruhondo Lake, with a beaut view of the volcanoes--Gahinga, Muhabura, Sabyinyo, and Bisoke on a clear day). - The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service is good. - The rooms are clean. - The vlaue is great (especially right now, with lower prices due to the pandemic). - The complimentary breakfast is good, with omelletes, fruit, sambusas, coffee, tea, etc. - There are plenty of outdoor seating options, in hammocks, loungers down by the lake, etc. Cons: - I'm not sure if they have any kind of quiet hours (i.e., we heard a group partying until the early hours one of the nights we were there). - The pillows are more akin to rocks than anything fluffy, so if you live in Rwanda, you might want to bring your own. Extras: - Definitely park by the power plant and opt for the boat ride over; the road to drive there is long and rough. - The birding around the property is lovely, so be sure to take a camera and pair of binoculars if that's your thing. Would highly recommend for a nice getaway from Kigali and would go back for sure.

Whether you are traveling for a project, last minute business, relocation or even a family vacation, an extended stay in an executive suite offers a relaxing and peaceful place to crash after a long day. Choose an executive suite rental and you'll feel like a resident rather than a traveler in this comfortable, clean, and affordable alternative to a hotel room. Enjoy the Suite Life
Pathetic service, quality of breakfast is bad and unhygienic. Cockroaches, reptiles and grasshoppers often visit your room. Management will never listen to your complaints and rarely interested in hearing your problems and fixing them. Please avoid booking.
