From ancient monuments and frocked priests to fantastic shops and avant-garde architecture, Rome's neighborhoods are as diverse as its multimillennial history. The Eternal City is a mosaic of pocketed areas vying to show off their must-sees - whether it’s haute couture or street art, fabulous food or medieval architecture. What makes Rome unique is not just the "open-air museum" lifestyle but the life itself. Every day, in every corner and every piazza, Rome smoothly juggles tradition, history, and 21st century change.

This hotel is perfect! Location is ideal, located on a pretty street a few mins walk from all the main sites, with a beautiful restaurant just outside the front door. We had the delux double and it was beautiful, spotless clean, had everything we needed, shower was great and it has soundproofing so really quiet and temperature was perfect. The view from the rooftop terrace… WOW! we had breakfast up here each morning and also at the end of our evening, it’s stunning! And last but certainly not least the staff… so helpful, friendly and went above and beyond, they made our stay so enjoyable and when we visit Rome again in the future we will definitely return to this hotel, wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Modern and elegant, the Gens Mundi B & B is located in Ostia Antica; only 7 km from the international airport of Fiumicino, 5 Km. from the sea, 20 Km. from the center of Rome, very close to the archaeological site and the picturesque medieval village. The structure consists of two double bedrooms and one studio apartment (sleeps 4), with private bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning, LCD TV and WI-FI. The entrance is independent, with private garden, parking and free entry into the pool in the summer months.
nice place but $30 to airport via owner and FAR from airport but advertised 6 miles away. We had to pay $42 euro for staying 1 night for taxes and a ride to the airport to get home to the USA. We chose this place because it said only 6 miles from the airport but that is NOT true it is far about 25 minutes and expensive to get back there via them or taxi either one....with that added in we could have stayed at the airport hotel for the same price and been so much more convenient.

The place is a bit off the main attractions of Rome, but one can reach the Vatican in 20 minutes walk or by public transport. The staff is helpful and replies promptly to emails and calls. The room was very clean and quiet. The price we paid was very competitive and reasonable for the quality. There's plenty of lovely bars and restaurants around the place at Circonvallazione Clodia.

I stayed at SheLisa for the second time and am planning to keep going every time I need to be in Rome for business. Lisa goes the extra mile to make sure her guests have everything they need. The rooms are nice and clean and have a pretty terrace!

I was due to stay however due to COVID it was impossible for me to enter the country. I contacted the hotel who constantly reassured me that they would refund my money. I was reassured right until the stay date when they then went quiet ( I assume that is when they received the money as it was booked through a 3rd party). Then they totally ignored me, no responses- nothing but they have my money. I would avoid this place.

The location is reasonable. The breakfast was horrible. Some cereal, some coffee powder for you to make in an Italian coffee maker (if you do not know, the problem is yours), shared milk, jelly, one croassaint and a single napkin ... The luggage deposit can not be used when requested, without any alternative. We needed it around 7 am to 11 am, but would be available just after 9:30, impracticable, disrupted the itinerary that morning. For any traveler the deposit is essential to be able to leave to wander around the city after checking out when the train or plane ticket is at another time. Remenber, the site expressly says that there is luggage storage. The other day the external door was damaged, and we had to contact Simone (responsible for the place) for whatsapp (WARNING, NO RECEPTION 24 HOURS, information omitted on the site). If it was some reason we had not gotten contact (in this case, I had bought a local mobile chip), it would have been a big problem after tiring day. We stayed 5 days, but the room was cleaned once, these days we used the same towels. Although, the website says that there is daily maid service ... Reasonable room heating. Normal bed comfort. Sound insulation is not very good, we heard the other guests use the bathroom and open and close the doors.

The Vittoriano is in a prefect location near all the major sites in historic Rome, just across the street from Piazza Venezia. We could easily walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Several great restaurants are within a block or less of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. They even prepared us sandwiches for a day we had to leave before the 8:00 am breakfast start. Breakfasts were good and plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable. A great value for a visit to Rome.
